    Green course

We came on a weekday for lunch for a work team building event. It was surprisingly quiet for a summer day when kids are out of school, but it was nice that we didn't have to fight for time on the mini courses. We started with lunch and got the garlic cheese curd appetizer. These are probably the best cheese curds I've ever had, they come with both ranch and marinara for dipping and they were both great. The waitress convinced me to try their peanut butter burger l, which sounded strange, but was just as delicious as she said. The onion bacon jam was perfect and you only got hints of the peanut butter throughout. I also tried some of my coworkers philly cheese steak tots. I'm not a fan of bell peppers, but eating around those, the cheese sauce, streak, onions, and banana peppers on crispy tots were savory and tangy and just a really good balance. I would order them again in a heartbeat. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if we didn't have to ask for refills and napkins. I wish I had taken pics of the food, but I was too hungry to take the time. On the putt side, they have two mini courses, both with 9 holes. They have putters for golfers of every size and you get your balls from a gumball machine which is pretty fun. As a group of adults, we had a ton of fun playing both courses.

Quiet open arrival, but as it quickly gained patrons, it was difficult with hearing aids to carry on a conversation. Old building, high ceilings - - LOTS of conversations. It's busy with 30 to 50 year olds. It was an absolute JOY to witness their gatherings, hugs and smiles. Eric - - our server, was very kind, patient and helped explain several of the questions we had regarding the menu. We APPRECIATED his attention to our large water carafe, filling it frequently. THANKS ERIC (with a C!!) Our food was nicely plated, temperature perfect and portions were VERY generous. The Classic Breakfast was my choice. Eggs cooked as directed, breakfast potatoes, one smallish, breakfast sausage in natural casing. A steak knife would have been helpful. I don't know the brand of bacon they serve, but it was FABULOUS! Thick sliced, prepared beautifully and mmmm, mmmm GOOD! The plate includes a Cheddar Biscuit. It is BIG and delicious LOOKING! I had to bring it, half of my potatoes and the sausage "to go". My husband ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. He was not a fan of the less than tasty sausage. #DIL ordered a Chicken Biscuit - - she shared a bite of the chicken. Let's just say, I KNOW what I will be ordering NEXT time we go. Our grandson ordered his favorite Biscuits & Gravy. HUGE portions, suitable for a growing young man. We will be back! P.S. The Gilded Pear cocktail was delicious. The Key Lime Pie was exquisite. Lovely plating and scrumptious. I shared it with my husband PLUS we brought half of it home.
