I have done this work my self for years and I know it took about 1 hour for a professional to do this work .... they charged 400.00 in labor plus a 80 dollar fuel charge and they drove like 15 miles to my house !! 80 dollars fuel charge . make sure if you use them to get a estimate first!! my fault but wont make the same mistake twice. Well was drilled and operated properly for about 2 1/2 years until a electrical short caused the wiring to melt inside the pump house which was not their fault as far as I can tell. However upon inspection the the supply line had been installed with a cheap plastic elbow at the top of the well cap and it had broken off after becoming brittle and allowed the entire pipe, pump and wiring to fall to the bottom of the well. I called them repeatedly for more months to come and repair the well, I expected to have to pay for it because of the fire, but I was given one excuse after the other. They would come, they had come and the ground was to wet, they were too busy etc. Finally I gave up and called someone else. The repair people were really shocked to find that the well was installed with a cheap plastic elbow (that should always be galvanized steel) and the wiring (from the pump to the contacts) was at least one size to small for the depth of the well. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. I have had to have the pump fished out and replaced (because it was damaged when it fell to the bottom of the well) new wiring installed which was expense and the well was only a couple of years old.

However, I must say I am happy that I called Woodall's well service because from the moment I called there was an eagerness to handle my problem despite the fact that his crew had a busy schedule. They managed to switch their schedule around to accommodate me as I did not have any water coming to my home. Travis and John arrived promptly, diagnosed and replaced the guage and pressure switch and I had runnning water again within the hour. I am putting Woodall's on Speed dial for my "Go to" for well repair service, and I highly recommend them to others. Oh and my the way , I think they are reasonably priced.
