After five lessons, I've consistently taken 15-20 strokes off of my game. I may still be shooting in the low 90's and have quite a ways to go, but that's a far cry from taking numerous "snowmen" on par 4's and scoring in the 110's. The only thing missing is a water station. If the owner sees this please consider a water station with still and bubbly water. Hehe. Some splashes of fruit would be nice too!! Last but not least maybe some instrumental background music. Not too loud but just enough to catch it here and there. Oh. Wait one more thing. I saw two groups bring the kiddos. It was basically an 83 that was turned into a 74 because of the quality of the greens. They were rolling so smooth and consistent with no bumps like before. It was actually rewarding great putting in terms of speed and lines. The rough is still brutally hard sort of US Open like but the fairways mostly very nice but very narrow,firm and smooth. I only hit 5 greens in regulation but putter got really hot.Also all the bunkers close to perfect as I had 2 sand saves.Great job by the greens keeping team, Bob and Vince managing the course. Since my initial review, I've had a lesson dedicated to chipping and a tune-up lesson for my driver. The chipping lesson helped tremendously for scoring once I was within 75 yards of the flag, and the driver lesson helped me get turned and off my back foot. Gary added back the 30-40 yards I mysteriously lost on my driver (it was to the point I thought my driver was broken lol). I will continue to vouch for Gary! I especially appreciate how he doesn't get too technical in his lessons. He gives you "feel" tips so that you don't have to think as much. One example: I wasn't getting fully turned, so Gary asked me to feel like I was getting my right shoulder blade looking at the ball. That's a lot better than "Just turn more". Go to Gary! He is awesome.
