The last couple of weeks Kennedy is playing as well as I have seen in the last 4 years. I'm listed as a 7 handicap and shot a 74 from the tips last Wednesday. It was basically an 83 that was turned into a 74 because of the quality of the greens. They were rolling so smooth and consistent with no bumps like before. It was actually rewarding great putting in terms of speed and lines. The rough is still brutally hard sort of US Open like but the fairways mostly very nice but very narrow,firm and smooth. I only hit 5 greens in regulation but putter got really hot.Also all the bunkers close to perfect as I had 2 sand saves.Great job by the greens keeping team, Bob and Vince managing the course. Stopped by with a small group of friends ,played a little golf then decided to have a burger and fries food was ok burger bland fries were thick but not to crispy ,the place was loud specially the staff , a gal in particular Michelle or roshell something along those lines ,she kept telling us her life story which was odd to us ?.(I was close to telling her look lady we come here to have fun not go home stressed out ,) she kept on repeating herself over and over ,she was very concerned about getting tipped cash .Something about if not she wont get a check. I don't know how the tip out works, but something about her just sounded sketchy so I would suggest management keep a close eye on her and there is definitely room for improving, especially with the staff. read more

Great price and the greens were well maintained. Great weather. Open terrain means that even a slight breeze plays into your slot selection.if you live in the area they have plenty of bargains. Small thing but their driving range has those grooved rubber slots that hold your ball on a wooden tee. 90 degree day. 16.8 index shot 51-45. And lost only one ball with 16 holes that have a water hazard. Bad: could have used nice cart service on the course. My playing partner lost a couple balls in the middle of the fairway (leaves). Played this course on our anniversary. The folks in the clubhouse were friendly. They started us on the back 9 for our round and announced us over the PA... not many courses do that anymore. They also gave us a course guide book to explain each hole and best ways to attack each hole; very well made and quite informative. Carts were clean, course was in good shape except for a few muddy spots. Tee boxes were pretty free of debris and broken tees. Good mix of tight fairways and wide-open ones. Lots of hazards on the course. Played well on the back 9, but blew up the front. Nice scenic course. A great value for your money. read more

What a disgrace this course has become. Being a born and raised Napan of 40 years, I've played this course 15-25+ times a year. The course shape has always been mediocre at best. But they sure have let it go downhill. From muddy fairways to beat up greens that aren't properly plugged it is sad. But what makes the experience even worse is for the first time ever they have these young kids playing Marshall telling you to hurry up when you're waiting at every hole for the ground in front of you. But on a Sunday morning they are sending out singles and not pairing them up. From Vinny to Austin the cart guy they both need to learn some customer service. I pulled up to my car to unload and got I was taking too long to unload my clubs because they too cheap to buy more carts. On top of that carts are in terrible shape. Ripped seats, broken sand repair holders. My group of friends of family have not played this course as often over the past couple years and today proved why. What a disgrace of employees, hopefully they can get some people in house who care about their customers. Until then look elsewhere to play golf. From the course conditions to the employees this is by far the worst experience you'll get. read more

Did a small golf tournament for work and this place has great pricing for the location. Staff is really accommodating. I would recommend the 9 hole game. We got lucky with a cooler than normal day in July but the heat does get intense quickly in the area. Bartender and restaurant offer some great drinks. Coffee is offered as self serve and the snack selection is wonderful. Lots of can ready cocktails and beer in coolers if you are running in before starting a game. read more

Nice municipal golf course, which is located next to the college. The course is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The grill is not spectacular and seems pricey for what you get. Imagine the worst conditioned golf course you've ever played. Multiply that times 2. This course is horrible! Dozens of dead trees, mud everywhere, standing water, and a terrible stench. The only reason I gave it one star was the greens were good. Sad to see this very good course in such disrepair. Shame on Napa! read more

What a disappointment... Although the pace of our round was decent at just about 4 1/2 hours, the course itself is in horrible shape. Many fairways are unplayable due to poor drainage and ground under repair. It is unfortunate that the reward for hitting your drive to the middle of the fairway is a shoe ruining walk through mud just to retrieve your ball from a small lake. The greens were in okay shape but many tee boxes were pretty tore up. Perhaps this would be a great place to play mid summer, but not right now - the price was way too high for this 'experience'. On a side note: We tried the Bloody Mary's that people have raved about - they were okay but nothing that would get me back to this course in the winter. read more

I will never be playing this course again. They pretty much robbed me of $250. I booked a teatime with them and two days prior canceled with someone at the pro shop a few days later they charged me for a no-show. I called them to reverse the charges. They said they could probably give me, a new credit for the course. And told me they would call me back to confirm and they never did beware of canceling with them. Make sure you get a confirmation that they canceled it. read more

Nice local place to go play golf in Napa. Course is in a transition stage. Price to play is fair you can ride around in their new carts. The golf course is still in need of some work but overall it's in the best shape I've ever seen it. They have some of the best greens in the valley. Tough "muni" course for us guys that can't hit the ball straight. I'm not sure how many water holes/hazards there are on the course, but it felt like every hole you could potentially be in trouble. 6,081 yards from the whites with a slope of 126M/133W. If you want a challenge, 6,496 yards and 130 slope from the blues. They also have gold tees, 5,660 yards & slope of 122M/128W. They have four sets of tees to accommodate golfers of any skill level. The course was built in 1968 and designed Jack Fleming. Napa GC is an 18-hole full service championship daily fee golf course with (a little dated) practice facilities consisting of an 8,500 sf putting green, chipping green, and 22 stall driving range with synthetic mats. The clubhouse has merchandise from golf balls to clubs. Napa GC offers golf lessons from PGA Class A Professionals on staff, with year round adult and youth lesson programs for players of all skill. read more

The maintenance of the course is very disappointing. Lots of dirt and mud patches with zero grass in the middle of some fairways. The cart path is fine the first couple of holes but most of time it wasn't paved, bumpy, and not maintained. We came across a homeless encampment around the 12th or 13th hole that is adjacent to the course. I will not ever play here again unless it's at a steep discount. This was not worth the $61 we paid to play. I'd expect to pay closer to $30 for a course in this shape. read more

Excellent and beautiful course has its challenging holes but also has its really rewarding par 3s. Playing on a cool late spring Sunday, my lady and I booked a tee time for 920 and could only get through 15 holes before having to bail. The highlights were a Birdie on one of the short par 3s and driving near the beautiful Napa Valley. The cart gal came by quite a few times and that's good news but she is cash only unless you wanna give your card to her and you can get it at the turn or after your round. I shot a number way too high to mention, but that 2nd or 3rd hole was super hard to carry over the steep drop. Would recommend to anyone in the area and book a time in advance through their website to get the best deal with a cart. We will certainly be returning once we have some free time! read more

Heads up! Played early September, '13... Course is scruffy, lots of bare dirt in fairways, little to no sand in the bunkers, the yardage markers are absent and the great bar area has been gutted, makes a dentist waiting room seem thrilling. Heard there's new management in place trying to create a "venue" of some sort. Pure chaos and a major let down. The original course layout appears intact yet neglected... No way should anyone call this the best course in the Napa valley, that's offensive. The condition is slightly above the neighborhood dog track. The greens are why I gave it 1 star. They post many #covid awareness rules throughout the pro shop and course, but are quick to tell you that it's ok to sit next to a person ghat doesn't live with you, 4 inches apart. Most courses now offer "single rider" carts option - they do not. There's 5 courses within 5 miles, this course ranks #6. Stay away, spend a few more dollars and play any of the other course for better conditions. They tie with Chardonnay for bad service, but you can't have a bad condition AND bad service. I play 3-5 times a week, I won't be back here no time soon. read more

Im rating The venue where we attended a party. I was disappointed the quality of service they gave, First when we arrived the room was cold they did not have the heater on at 6 pm also we have to walked outside in freezing weather to use the bathroom next building. Second the food they served (chicken marsala) was not cooked inside which we can see it was raw in the middle. We notified the server but noting was done did nOt even offer any recourse. My husband and I played here for the very first time over Mother's Day weekend. It was very busy with alot of locals playing so the pace is quick due to their familiarity with the course layout. A very challenging and unforgiving 18 hole golf course. Mostly par 4s. Narrow fairways and plenty of water, so make sure you've got lots of water balls. Course sits on brackish soil so the fairways can be choppy in some places. Overall, good course. read more

I would pass on this course. Booked on golfnow and got a great deal, however it did not include carts. The proshop charged $51 for two carts, I thought it was 3 carts (covid), but it was only for two. The third cart costed $34 dollars, still confused on her math. The course itself was in poor shape as the drainage was either rock hard or a marsh even 20 yards around the greens. read more

I came here to golf for my birthday. I am still learning how to golf, and they were so nice as I checked in and tee-d off a little slower than I should have. I got a delicious breakfast burrito in the grille. My Tee Time came up quickly, so they were even nice enough to bring the burrito to me as I played. The check in staff was welcoming, the greens were well maintained, and the grille looked brand new. Overall it was a fantastic day, and I can't wait to go back. read more
