I hate to be a Karen because I really used to love this place. I've been coming here for years and the last few visits my Green Dream has steadily fallen in quality. The first two times they asked me if they could swap ingredients, i.e. spinach for kale, and I was fine with that. The difference in taste was minute. On my last visit, I wasn't asked if I was okay with substitutions, and I felt like there were ingredients missing. At $12.80 a smoothie ($13.80 with tip!) I expect a really great smoothie. read more

You can choose your own toppings, but I recommend copying ours [unless you don't like those obv (; ] Look how beautiful they are! The smooth, subtly sweet and creamy avocado-ness of the green Bowl was nicely enhanced by adding a lil honey. The Pitaya was lightly tart and mildly sweet, and all good. The granola on the pitaya could've been more, imo, but it was still 5 star quality overall. The taste and eating experience was golden..like the light pouring through the windows of our cute but modest apartment as we sat down to eat. We don't have many fresh pressed juice places in the area so I was so happy to see this place nearby! Everything is really fresh and they all have a date on when it was made. I especially like their green juices and you can tell they don't cheap out on their greens! The only downside is the parking situation :( They also sell protein powders/ acai, fruit bowls and already made sandwiches! I wish they offered custom made fresh pressed juice but I was just happy to find organic celery juice. They offer a rewards program and coupons come in randomly. Fresh juices and everything is organic and vegan! I'm not a vegan, but the I really do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients here. Have already been here a few times in less than a week, and everything that I've tried so far was great! They have different offerings between fresh cold pressed juices, cleanses, and smoothies. Have only tried the juices so far. Like the fact that I don't taste/sense any sugar added, which always turns me off when it comes to juices. They also offer plenty of choices in each category, so it's totally feasible to try something new you visit every time. Food selection here is interesting as well. They have sandwiches, salad, and desserts. Honestly, some of the desserts look pretty amazing, especially considering the fact they don't use any butter or other types of shortening. Tried the truffle and it was smooth without being overly heavy or sweet. Pretty good snack without feeling the guilt. The original location was in Hoboken, but they have recently started this location in Fort Lee right on Main Street. There's no parking lot, but there is a decent amount of street parking spots available. Prices here are definitely on the expensive side, but hey, you're worth it. They have no protocol regarding capacity during COVID times. The shop is very small but was empty when I walked in. I placed my order at the counter and waited inside. About 5 minutes later a group of 6-7 teenagers walked in. The store is so small that even in non-covid times it would still be considered crowded. But during covid it is downright unacceptable to allow that many people inside, which is exactly what they did. The correct thing to do would've been to limit capacity to 2-3 customers at any given time. And since I was there before that group walked in, I should be allowed to stay with one or two others, while the rest of that crowd waited outside. But since the employees/management clearly did not care, I took it upon myself to go outside and wait while standing in the rain during winter. As soon as I walked out, the group of teens occupied the little booth I was sitting at. So basically I was punished and they were rewarded. It seems messed up that those who actually take covid seriously also have to pay the price, but I guess that's a better alternative than potentially catching covid. To make matters worse, once my order was ready, the guy behind the counter was actually waving at me to come IN. Is he serious? I waved back at him to come out and gave him my card to ring up while I stayed outside. Not pleased at all with their obvious lack of safety protocols during covid, added with the fact that I had to voluntarily acquiesce to this large group of teens since the employees didn't care... it's safe to say my best option from now on is to not go to this place again. read more

Making meals for myself can be pretty difficult because of my work scheduele & my diet doesn't offer me a lot of options for takeout because it's usually one or the other, so I am super thankful I found Purely Juiced. Ordered a green bowl through the Yelp app for pick up. The bowl was ready on time (actually earlier than expected time) and everything I requested was in the bowl. It was very tasty. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I think it's a bit over priced. The size of the bowl was much smaller than I expected after spending $13 on it. Also thought that an extra $1-1.50 to add peanut butter or almond butter was a little ridiculous. Although, I will most likely be back to try other bowls and smoothies. I enjoy healthy food options such as this and do think spending a few extra dollars on healthy options is better than going cheap and eating unhealthy food. When our go-to smoothie/juice location stopped delivering to us, my coworkers and I were so, so happy to discover Simply Juiced. Let's just say we're very glad our old place stopped delivering to our location because Simply Juiced is simply, way better. The juices are freshly made, the smoothies delicious and the food is awesome. As a celiac, I always gravitate towards "clean" and gluten free choices when I can. The atmosphere is friendly, open, and bright. It just makes a person's first vegan store experience so much more memorable when people are there to give you suggestions. I was given the chia pudding, several juices, and vegan pizza to try and all were amazing. It's guilt-free pizza and pudding! What more could you want? I have to say, the management at the Fort Lee location went out of their way to make sure my delivery went smooth and awesome! I called to inquire about their delivery app but for some reason it wasn't working properly (something they are currently fixing and improving) and I got a little frustrated because I really wanted some amazing Simply Juiced stuff delivered so after some time I kind of gave up but a little later the owner reached out to me directly and made the delivery herself to where I was! This is a place I see myself getting from time and time again. I've tried them twice now because my first experience wasn't the best & they definitely made up for it! I knew I should give them another try. The main issue with my first time was I got delivery and it took an hour and a half (even though I'm in the next town over only 3.5 miles away), but they certainly did much better the second time and delivered in half the time which I greatly appreciated. My only other issue with my first time was that the hummus falafel sandwich lacked....I want to say depth? There certainly wasn't any "actual" falafel in it which I get would be difficult putting a round ball into a sandwich even if it were cut in half, but the main thing was the raw chickpeas. I'm a fairly healthy individual and I have never eaten raw chickpeas although I am a semi-expert in all things hummus and falafel. The chickpeas were rock hard, I would have thought they could be semi cooked or softened somehow - but hey maybe I'm just not a raw expert and that's how they're supposed to be it just wasn't my "cup of tea". I askes for no onions which they followed well but had I askes for no spinach either the sandwich would have had almost nothing in it. Their juices are all amazing! That's the main reason I knew I had to give them a second chance. I've never seen anyone have 100% pear juice. Which I loved and also used to mix into the "super natural" green juice which sweetened it up a bit for me. Their "fruits and roots" juice is incredible! I love that they aren't scared to go heavy on the ginger and combining lime & grapefruit into a juice with pineapple carrots apples and beets could have backfired but it tastes great! So good that the second time I got the 17oz! Their acai bowls are very good, but if you want it to be more filling do add your own granola, because although it had a sufficient amount of berries it could have definitely used much more granola & maybe even banana. But to each their own! This place is definitely one of a kind for the area and like I said I Will certainly be coming back, perhaps eat in next time. I definitely want to try more of their dessert options as their key lime pie lacked for me because I didn't realize it would have no crust and is basically pudding. It wasn't bad though, very nutty and I certainly ate it but I was just expecting something else and no menu description (like putting the pie in quotes) gave away that this was a deconstructed dessert. Overall service is very good and the girl answering the phones was very nice and helpful as well as personable. Look for more pictures as I visit some other time! read more

This place rocks !!! Recently went Vegan and they make it enjoyable. The Avocado toast with a faux meaty substance made from sunflower seeds is nothing short of spectacular. Their savory bowls are well thought out and put together. Their acai and similar fruit bowls are also outstanding. If I'm in a rush I grab one of their delicious smoothies(try the Olympian) for breakfast I often grab one of the overnight oats with their inner chai cold press juice.
