I stopped in after a morning walk for a smoothie and loved it! Juice Journey has smoothies, bowls, juices, and lots of food options. I ordered the Banana Nut Bread smoothie. Not only was it delicious and healthy; it tasted exactly like banana bread. The cafe has a decent amount of seating with a cute mural inside. Interesting healthy options, but not a place to brag about... First, if it wasn't for this place being located right on the water with a beautiful view then I wouldn't go out of my way. Second, the prices are a bit out there. For 2 bowls, 2 drinks, and 1 snack it was just shy of $50. Third, the bowls weren't even filled up. Plus, both bowls (same type of acai bowls) had different amounts filled. How can one bowl not have the same amount, and not look like the other bowl? FYI: Parking can be a nightmare. Juices are good just a bit pricey. I like that they have them premade if you just want to grab and go.

Probably the best açaí bowl that I've ever had. They don't use a lot (or any?) sugar in the açaí base so it's not really sweet like a lot of the other companies. Their vegan chili is also great. read more

It's been a minute since I've been here but their service and selections are always took notch. My favorites are the Vanilla Mylk Shake their Açaí Bowl and the Vanilla Macaroons. Definitely worth a stop if you are into a healthy lifestyle. read more

Juice journey has been my go to spot for healthy juices for quite sometime. They sell fresh cold pressed juices that are already made and in the fridge to save you time. My only gripe is that I wish you can order one on demand so you can watch them make it however the pre made juices taste fresh and have all the nutrients. They have other things such as wheat grass, cbd, e3live and other boosters. They have a large smoothie menu as well with nothing but healthy ingredients and those are made on demand. I usually go and get a ginger shot from them often as well as an occasional wheatgrass shot. They also have açaí bowls, healthy pastries and snacks. The staff is very knowledgeable and often offer alternative suggestions. If you're looking for an immune booster definitely pass by this place. They also have juice cleanses and at times will run specials on them. read more

I guess I came here for the wrong thing but I was looking for açaí bowl places around here and while they had bowls they have only a select few. I got the açaí bowl and a pitaya bowl and got them with both Nutella(barely any Nutella was given for an extra 1$ charge each). Also took a bit longer than what I'm also used to and it came out to $26!!!! Which is way more pricey than what I normally pay for bowls but then again i guess it's more of a juice place than bowls place. read more

This place was a random find in that I had no rental car and was within walking distance from my hotel. I tried the raw vegan lasagna paired with their cold brewed vanilla coffee.... Needless to say, this place will be on my "when in NJ, must visit here!!!" list!!!! The lasagna is so super fresh and the taste is out of this world!! So flavorful! And the cold brewed vanilla coffee will have me coming back today, and tomorrow.... it's better than anywhere near here, that's for sure!! So fresh and so delicious!!! Not sure why a lot of people is saying it's expensive? The acai bowl that I received was rather large and I thought the price was actually pretty decent. I'm assuming maybe they don't know the price of what fresh fruit and acai in general cost? Anyway, I was greeted with a warm smile and asked if I had any questions. I knew what I wanted just from looking at the menu online. I order myself the acai bowl with honey. It did take a little long for it to be ready (esp considering I was the only person there), but that's ok. I saw them making and grabbing all fresh ingredients, so I was happy about that. Brought it back to my hotel and took the first bite. Oh it was heaven! I didn't think I would finish the whole thing, but I sure gobbled it up (I didn't have dinner yet btw). $11.50 for a smoothie that's not even organic. $9.95 for a very bland avocado toast that had black pepper corns on top almost a size of a rock each. It was inedible and a turn off. And $7.95 for a chocolate chip cookie? It's really sad when the only vegan and gluten free cafe in Edgewater thinks that's its okay to overcharge people and in return provide an extremely mediocre, bland menu items including smoothies that are not even organic. People with food allergies like me sometimes have no choice but to pay those prices and it's not fair. The very least I expected was a decent avocado toast that would fill me up for lunch and make me happy, instead I was too busy picking giant pepper corns out of it and adding salt to make it taste better. Everything tasted good, so that's why I gave 3 stars, but the avocado toast was the size of the palm of my hand (literally), the chia seed pudding I finished after three or four spoonfuls, and the smoothie was a small size. If I can give ZERO stars I would. I am a long time buyer of their juices. Today I went and bought an avocado toast. They charged me $8 for this toast. Get this ONE piece of toast !!! That didn't even have everything as pictured. Where do you go buy toast and they only give you ONE slice!!! Especially for that price! And to top it off they give you this huge plastic container, that makes the toast look even more measly and lonely. guess they have to inflate prices in their menu to pay rent. I came to study and enjoy their services for a snack and later dinner since I have a lot of work to do. Yet I wasn't treated very kindly. I had just spent 3 hours at the gym where I had bought a smoothie, but on my way to Juice Journey Cafe, the smoothie spilled all over my backpack as I rode my bike. When I came inside, I saw there was a sign on the door of the bathroom stating that the bathroom was closed. I asked a lady that seemed like the owner if she would left me use the bathroom to wipe off the outside of my backpack. I genuinely needed help and I meant no disrespect by my request. Yet she proceeded to question me about where I got the shake, if I was planning to buy anything, etc. She even told me not to make a mess, why would I? I'd never do that because I am not a disrespectful person. When I said thank you, she even asked me again if was going to buy anything. I felt terrible, like vermin. It seems she was stressed. Maybe the pandemic has lowered her profits. It has been hard on all of us. However, she would do best to be kind, or more terrible things will come to her with such an angry attitude. This was such a nice find today! There aren't many places in the area that make fruit smoothies, so it was extremely convenient to find one close to home. It's a small yet cozy establishment. Smells amazing when you walk inside! The workers there are extremely nice. Everything they serve is vegan and gluten free. I LOVE how they have samples of the juices they have available. I tried quite a few and Raw Organic Young Thai Coconut water was just beyond delicious and refreshing. I bought one of those and a Vanilla Cashew Mylk (which tasted like a healthy dessert) to bring home to have on another day. I wound up ordering a Banana Nut Smoothie which was pretty good- a little too sweet for my preference, but I am sure it wouldn't be an issue to custom make an order for next time. Best juice bar around town. They use all fresh produce for their juices. Cold pressed juices made daily (I recommend the pure green if you are trying to be a health nut, If not the daily detox or the skin glow are both awesome) Their smoothies are made on order and they are my personal favorite ( ultimate warrior is the best smoothie) Their homemade "mylks" are also the best!!! They make their own almond, cashew, hazelnut milks. And they are to die for. Never thought I'd ever say I would just drink almond milk by itself. Once you get almond milk from here you won't be able to drink the store bought almond milk. The workers are also really knowledgeable if you have any questions about the health benefits of anything. They also have wheatgrass shots, and a bunch of other shots like ginger, lemon, b3, chlorophyl, e3 ... Etc just ask Last but not least their all raw vegan food is AMAZING !! My second time here because the first was unexceptional enough to make me forget what it was that I ordered (I do remember it was a smoothie though). Like last time, this visit was also unexceptional. I came in with the idea that a bowl would be a good choice for brunch. I asked if they had any bowls to recommend to which they highly suggested the pataya (dragon fruit). 11.50$ and a few moments later I had it in front of me. Radioactive purple colored paste topped with banana, strawberry and coconut. It looked fantastic. Sadly if didn't taste as good as I expected. Ice cold (too much ice blended in) was one problem. Dry granola was the other. Tiny coconut shavings didn't help either. The banana and strawberries where good though. Having ice cream for brunch (although questionable) isn't a huge problem. It's paying NYC prices for a bowl that is not only smaller, but also not as good as what I would get in NYC that is. 3/5 because I didn't get sick, the service was really good and the place is really clean (but honestly that's the bare minimum for an eatery right?).
