I picked them up and they were discolored but I thought I could use a suede brush to smooth them out. Then when I got home I tried them on and they did not fit they shrunk to a point where they are uncomfortable. They fit me fine before so I took them back today to ask them what happened and she said that it wasn't my fault but it also was not their fault I asked her if magic caused them to shrink and she said yes. I asked for the owner's phone number and she refused to provide it to me. I told her that I would be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau and she didn't seem to care. I was also not offered a refund. They also refused to file an insurance claim. Don't clean your Uggs and don't go to this place.

After I picked them up, I discovered that the down filling inside both jackets had become severely clumped together in the corners of the quilted sections, leaving many areas with little or no insulation. As a result, the quality, appearance, and functionality of these jackets were significantly compromised. The manager repeatedly stated that the store could attempt to clean the jackets again but is not responsible for any damage or changes to the condition of the garments. Rather than discussing a reasonable resolution, he continued to repeat this position and spoke in a manner that I found unprofessional and dismissive. Thanks for your reply. The concern is that the manager has stated that the store will not accept responsibility or provide compensation for the damage already caused. Although he has offered to re-clean the garments, he has also made it clear that the store will not be liable if the jackets remain in the same condition or are further damaged afterward. Given that position, I do not believe it is reasonable to authorize another cleaning attempt. I am concerned that doing so could be used to argue that the store is no longer responsible for the existing damage if the condition does not improve to an acceptable level.

I dropped my items off on a Tuesday afternoon and they were ready two days later. I will return, though I noticed that their daily specials have been reduced quite a bit when compared to earlier former promotions (i.e. 5% off for shirts on Tuesdays and pants on Wednesdays, when before it was a 20% discount...). Example: I picked up my suits, and other items (a lot of things) and they told me the don't add the plastic straighteners that go on the collard. Not a big deal, but if you see someone with their hands completely full, you would think to just get some for the person real quick. Additionally, I recommend they invest on getting some kind of cart rack. I had to struggle to get them all out to my car and one of those would have made the experience all the better

It's hit or miss with this cleaners. Sometimes my clothes SEEM cleaned and others times, it's is clear they simply pressed them without cleaning. Pressing is also hit or miss. When a redo is requested, the garment returns looking as if nothing was done. And, the clothes never smell "clean." They either don't have a smell or a slight scent of a cleaner used to mask an uncleaned garment.

I said, "No, you have hemmed many of my pants and you know I do not like them that long." I asked again if I could try them on and show her. She said "No, it doesn't matter. I don't make mistakes. YOU must be the problem." She refused to even look at the pants, so I left. BEWARE! I have taken my alterations to Shockoe Bottom Cleaners with a total of ~15 pairs of pants to be hemmed over the past 18 months. I chose them because they are close to work. I have never had a problem with them prior to this week - they are usually very nice, as I am a regular. I feel a true measure of a store's integrity is how they view customer service and if/how they try to please their customer. I am a regular (they know me by face) and they still refused to treat me with respect. It is a shame because now they have lost me as a customer. (I cannot speak on behalf of their dry cleaning services, although they seem reliable.)

Any size comforter is $20! Not bad!! In by 10, out by 5! You can't beat that! You pre-pay, so pick up is a breeze. So how's the service and quality you may ask... She was fantastic with my baby and was making him smile and laugh while she pinned him. Only downside is she does not take credit cards, only cash, check or Zelle and at the time the Zelle account she uses wasn't working. Price for rush alternations was pretty fair. I needed her to hem both the pants and sleeves of both outfits and take in the waist for of my older sons' pants. With rush costs it was about $90.

When I got home with the jackets, I saw that they had done the opposite; put buttons from Jacket B on Jacket A. I promptly returned to the cleaners and approached the lady who had helped me originally and had done the work (and made the mistake). All I asked was for her to make it right. Fortunately she had kept the buttons from Jacket A. I requested that she put the buttons on the jacket as I requested. She proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay another $50 to fix the mistake. I told her that I didn't feel I needed to pay double to correct her mistake. She tried to lower the fee (as a courtesy) to $25. I told her that I paid $50 to do a job and that she didn't do as I asked and I didn't think it was fair that I would have to pay another charge to do what was asked in the first place. Based on this, I will not return to use their services and am now out $50
