I am extremely disappointed with the way Rainkings handled a recent interaction with my grandparents. My grandparents are seniors, and despite a clearly posted NO SOLICITING sign and multiple verbal refusals from my grandmother, three sales representatives continued their pitch and obtained a signature from my grandfather after she had already said no repeatedly. This felt highly inappropriate and predatory. I am their legal Power of Attorney and was never contacted or consulted. When I called to request that the contract be voided and asked for written confirmation, I was met with resistance and dismissive behavior. One of the representatives, Gil, focused more on trying to keep the sale than addressing my request, even stating he was "busy" when I asked again for documentation confirming cancellation. That response was unacceptable and unprofessional. The sales pitch did not align with the signed contract, and the proposed pricing was higher than their existing water purification agreement. This situation left me feeling ignored, disrespected, and concerned that my grandparents were taken advantage of. I am HOT! If this contract is not voided and confirmed in writing immediately by this company I will be escalating this matter further. I do not play about my grandparents and senior citizens!! Companies working in senior communities should operate with integrity, respect boundaries, and honor clear refusals.

He recommended we change out the digital meter and switch to an analog one. We weren't sure how that would fix our water problem but for $200, we did it. Greg and his employees assured us he has 30 years of experience in the business so he knows. Turns out he didn't really know because it didn't much fix our water. The softener is less than 5 years old. We continued to have brown water and then cloudy. After asking Greg's to come back out and assess our cloudy water, he suggested we either buy a new system from him for $1800 or replace the minerals in it for $400. We were told those were our only options. We also opted to have Greg and his company handle our salt replenishment since we figured he would also take care of our system too. That's if he could get the schedule right to show up to fill the salt. We never knew when he was showing up and if the salt was actually being replenished. We live on a property with multiple other homes he also services. Instead of refilling our salt along with all the other homes, we were left without salt in our system for at least a couple weeks. When we called and asked, we were told they were behind and could get to us in 3 days. Not grouping multiple houses on the same property together for service just shows lack of common sense. In the end, we dropped the service, which was really just a convenience and I can refill my own salt. He didn't really fix our system or maintain it. He just tried to sell us stuff and up-charged on salt. You can take your chances but they will likely try to sell you things you may not need and the salt replenishment is a hit or miss.

After doing a little research I decided to purchase a Mach 4040 with them and I do not regret my decision. I had it installed 04/2017 and it still continues to work very well. This system provides me with soft water for the entire house. I get it serviced once a year for optimum performance. Robert Hooks is a technician for the company who is extremely polite and always explains how the system operates and what is being done. There's no shady business with his services.

Most weren't answering phones, were out of service, or couldn't get to me until Monday. I tried True Plumbers first and was put on hold. I waited a couple of minutes and no one picked up. So I hung up and called other plumbers. After not getting any good answers, I tried them again. They had one of their plumbers call me. Josh was working on a job in Lakeland, but said he could come out to me that evening. I talked to him about what was going on and what I was doing to fix it. He told me I was on the right track. He encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing (because it was exactly what he would have to do). And for him to do it, I'd have to pay the service fee + parts and labor. Not cheap that time of the day or week. Lucky for me, my wife got home and saw I was totally exhausted and frustrated. She took over trying to get the rest of the cartridge out. Josh told me to check back in with him in the meantime if we needed him. He was still planning on coming later if we couldn't do it. Probably a good hour later, my wife got the rest of it out. Let me tell you we shared a huge high five and there was much cheering in that shower! lol I called Josh back and let him know we did it and he didn't need to come over. But I was so grateful for his advice. Sometimes you just need someone to tell you you're doing it right. If we have any other plumbing issues, I'll call them again for a quote.

Had a new fridge put in and the guys who put in the new fridge said they couldn't touch the water line of the old fridge and that the valve from the wall needed to be replaced so that the water line from the new fridge could be connected, and to call plumbers for that. We called them and they arrived an hour earlier than their estimated time range. Long story short, the plumber guy said replacing the valve in the wall wasn't necessary and the hose from the valve could be connected to the new fridge. He said this to me like I was a moron, which I don't know much about plumbing, so I'm probably a moron when it comes to that stuff. But the way he said it and looked at me rubbed me the wrong way. He then puts a fitting thing on the fridge hose and connects it to the valve hose coming from the wall. It takes him maybe a minute to do this. He tells me it's gonna cost $340 or something close to that. I ask why so much for having done so little, he said he had to drive forty minutes and says it like it makes total sense and I'm the idiot for asking such a stupid question.
