First place I've found since moving to the Cape that I would definitely go back to. A bit pricey (I got the $70 green tea spa pedicure), but worth it for all that comes with it (scrubs, massages, hot stones and towels, callus removal, etc). Only complaint: when my friend and I arrived our technicians apparently weren't ready, and 1 woman was kind of haphazardly getting us started while also answering the phone and greeting customers annoying and not entirely sanitary... We would have been fine just to wait 5 min. But once our 2 technicians took over, no complaints, and my tired feet and legs were happy customers. read more

If I could rate this zero I would. I received a generous gift certificate a year ago. I went in just for polish. It lasted a day and a half and my skin around nail was picked . I waited a year and took my friend to get a mani pedi. I got a polish. It was horrible, my 4 year old granddaughter could do it better. It was sloppy. My friends was as sloppy and actually I was laughing it was so horrible. Like a bad joke. Well they have a huge banner ( and I mean huge) that states yips are cash only. Unfortunately I didn't know that but they have a ATM in the shop. It say .50 cents to use it but on my statement it says $6.50. I should not have given them a tip to begin with. So happy I gave this place a shot! They offer manicures, pedicures, waxing, and even children's mani/pedi's. Personally, I've only spoiled myself with their pedicures so far, so I can only speak on that. But I can say the salon is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, equipment is always clean and freshly sterilized, and the experience and results are unlike any other and will surpass your expectations. The spa pedicures, although pricier than other salons in the area, are definitely top of the line and you'll get every penny's worth. The 10-minute foot massage elevates the entire experience. They have an in-depth knowledge of the muscles in the foot, so they know all the right spots! You can spend a few more dollars to upgrade your foot massage to a reflexology massage or to add 5 more minutes to your time. To really separate themselves from the competition, they give you a neck & shoulder massage while your nails are drying! They accept cash, Visa, MC, Discover, and AmEx. I've tried at least 4 other salons in the area, before trying Purity. I went there for a dip manicure and was so happy with the service. Unlike many other salons, they did NOT rush through the service. My nail technician took the full hour on my nails. He was meticulous about making sure there were no bumps (as can happy with dip sometimes) or uneven surfaces. I was very pleased with the whole service and am definitely going back for future manicures and pedicures. The salon was very clean, orderly, and sanitary. They even have shields at the pedicure stations! Purity Nails was recommended by a co-worker. I visited shortly after COVID restrictions were raised. I hadn't had a pedicure in about eight months and was so looking forward to it. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. There were no major issues with my visit. It was simply done in haste and uninspired. I could tell the young woman providing my service did not understand my shaping preferences but made no effort to clarify. In my opinion, the leg massage during the pedicure and the offered neck massage provided while my nails dried, was far too light a touch to be considered massage. Purity is hands down the best place to get a manicure and pedicure in the Mashpee/Falmouth area. The staff are very friendly and professional and the facility is exceptionally clean and stylish. They seal their tools in plastic bags after disinfecting and line the pedicure tubs. In response to COVID, they have installed plastic shields at both their manicure stations as well as the pedicure chairs. Gel dip powder manicure is $42, which sounds pricey compared to other places, but my technician cleaned up my nail bed in addition to applying the polish, which doesn't always happen elsewhere. *Highly Recommend* read more

I found this nail salon because I was visiting from out of town but was here for a military retirement ceremony so I needed a manicure so that I would in regulations. I called before going to so if there was any availability, and was informed that I could come right away however I asked for a later appointment around 10:30 am so that I could do a few more errands. They agreed so I was pleased at that point. When I arrived before walking in, I could see that there were two people getting pedicure and one person was getting a manicure and what seemed like a back massage. There were a few people sitting around, which I assumed worked there because they were seated on the opposite side of the tables. When I walked in, it seemed as everyone who wasn't working with someone started to clean around their area or got up and went to the back. Initially I thought they were trying to get ready for the next patron. I was asked what I needed and I told the person nearest me that I had made an appointment earlier and was in need of a gel manicure and pedicure. I was told to pick a color and go to the pedicure station. I'm use to the force of the infliction of the voices so I did not take any offense to it. However when I sat down to put my feet in the water that was being prepared which I preferably like hot, I could see the irritated look on the person who would be doing my pedicure. I asked if he could make the water more warm and he started speaking another language and drained the water to do so. I never want to assume that I am being talked about because I too speak different languages and would never do that to others. When he was doing my pedicure I felt it was sooo rushed. Instead of telling me he was done with one feet it was like he forced my feet away from him. I could see if I wasn't paying attention and need a bit of a nudge but I was watching him closely as I was getting it done. Remember I said that there were two people that were getting their pedicure done, I was done before they even got their basic foot massage! When he started setting my nails under the light, he would pull and push my feet away from me instead of using his words or even a tap on my foot! I was so upset I could feel my temperature literally start to rise as I was seated in the chair. He did ask how I wanted them cut and shaped which I did get. Which is why I said nothing when he was done. He also was the one that would do my manicure. His conversation with me was bare min which was what color I wanted and how I wanted it shaped, which is fine with me- however when coupled with the way he handled my hands as well I felt rushed, unwanted, disrespected, and talked about! By the time he was taking my nails out the water to put polish on, the ladies behind me were coming next to me to get a manicure. I was listening to a podcast but only had one AirPod in because I wanted to aware with my surroundings. It's a shame because they seemed so delighted with their pedicure and looked forward to their manicure. When I was told to wash my hand he accompanied me to the station and proceeded to dry my hand. He told me my price and said I was finished. I went back to my chair to give my form of payment (cc) and asked if he had any cuticle oil and instead of the semi circle that manicurist would usually do around each finger, he just did one line across my nail bed. He then asked if I wanted a back massage I told him no. He also asked if I wanted lotion, I also said no because that should have been done before giving me my price of service. I would not recommend this shop for people of color, it was not an experience that I would want anyone for that matter-of-fact to go through. Today I decided to check this place out, I have not been home in a while and have read great reviews. Unfortunately I had less than a decent experience with this establishment. When I first walked in, I had said that I wanted my fake nails removed and then would like a manicure afterwards. I was told okay, but that I needed to wait 15 minutes. Not a problem! Once I was called over, the woman (different from who approached me when I walked in) had absolutely no idea what I wanted. I simply explained once again that I wanted my fake nails removed and then a manicure afterwards. She proceeded to remove the gel nail polish (which I thought was odd since I wanted everything removed) and once she was done she asked me if I'd like my nails cut? I said "no, I want them removed entirely they are fake and I would like a manicure after they are removed" she replied with "OH MY GOD!" Spoke in a different language to her coworkers and then told me that's not what I asked for. Not willing to argue with her over what I know came out of my mouth I left VERY upset. I will not go back here again, they are rude and not very friendly at all and personally their prices are FAR too high. Came in for a quick manicure, it was far from quick!! Emily started my manicure and was very delicate and gentle while cutting my cuticles. After filing and shaping my nails, Jinny took over, Emily had a schedule client. My nails got 3 coats plus the clear top coat. Usually this worries me because it makes them looks very tick and looks like they can peel right off! My nails look just perfect! While I was curing my nails I got what felt like a lifetime back massage. (more like 1-2min) then she walked me to the sink she instructed me to scrub my hands with a hand scrub. After rinsing I was very impressed with how they felt. Then she walks me to the wax station dips my hand in 3xs and wraps them in Seran wrap. I then walk back to my station for another 1 min back rub!! She then peels off the paraffin wax and wola my hand are so soft and feel hydrated!! Can't say enough of this place! New in town...I googled local nail salons this place came up and was the only place with 5 STARS...thought I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did. Clean place, friendly staff. Little more expensive than usual for a mani/pedi (came to $50 for regular pedi/mani) but it was well worth it. Great massage for both feet and hands and they even included a shoulder massage, which has only been done by one other place I've gone too---such a nice touch . Great color selection...which I found is hard to come by on the Cape...but will definitely be back to this place! Highly recommended! I never like to leave reviews, but once in a while I feel it's warranted. I have had gel manicures every 2-3 weeks for the past 10 or so years, so I consider myself an expert. This was by far the worse. It's been 3 days and a nail has started to chip. I walked in there and very nicely said that I was down in Falmouth for the summer and that a friend recommended their salon and I was psyched they were so close to me! Silence...not even a smile. But the main reason I am writing this review is that this is the first time I have ever had a manicure where my nails have not been soaked. My cuticles and nails were cut dry. That is a very uncomfortable feeling. Also, I noticed that a woman sitting near me had a paraffin treatment done. I was expecting the same or at least a little lotion afterwards, but I was just told "all set". I was a bit shocked, but I'm not going to ask for a little lotion. I can go home and do it myself. I just won't go back. Reading some of the great reviews, people are raving for getting a paraffin treatment for just a $15 manicure! I spent $32 for a gel manicure and got nothing. It really irks me! Although I don't like to chit chat when I am having my nails done, I wouldn't mind a smile here or there. It looked like not only was my manicurist, but also another man there were miserable. I noticed that he twice said something underneath his breath about a couple of requests the women next to me asked of him. It could've been something nice, but I highly doubt it. I'll give the place 2 stars because it was nice and spacious and looked clean. Also, they were willing to give a neck massage, but I have a bad neck and refused it. There was only one other client getting a pedicure while two workers were just walking around in the salon on their phones. The lady doing my nails answered her cell phone every time it rang. A manicure that should have taken 30 minutes to get done, took twice as long. Last time I ever come here. This may be the best manicure that I've received...ever. The salon was spotless and hygienic. The nail technicians efficient and kind. The services of value (paraffin wrap and a neck massage included in a regular mani? amazing).
