This is a quaint little family owned shop. All the staff are kind and good at what they do. Not a nail factory like just down the street. When I first moved to the area, this was the first place I stopped for my regular gel/dip/pedicure. I have been getting my nails done since I can remember, but this place is must try in my opinion. They made me feel welcome, they charged fair prices, even helped me choose colors. They will always do their best to accomodate you and will be fully honest if they are busy. Not like other places that will tell you to sit and wait not giving you any idea how long it will be. Honestly I do not understand any of the negative reviews. Be clear about what you want if you are particular and you will always leave happy. The picture below is of a design Jeni came up with after spending almost an hour on my nails. Staff were friendly and accommodating, however I unfortunately won't go back. I needed gel removed and every salon I've ever gone to removes it with sanitary tools after soaking in acetone, and yet here they soaked my nails in acetone and scrapped off the gel off my nails with their own finger nails... yikes! After cutting my cuticles, which are still sore today, they finished with polish that is far from smooth and doesn't coat entire nail on the edges. I want to believe this salon can do well due to the friendliness of the team, but could use some improvements. read more

The salon is clean. They use new tools for pedicures. Each time I've went they have done great work. I usually get French toes and ombré dip nails. They only take cash. There's an atm on-site if needed. read more

I have ben giong to Hollywood Nails for a Long time and really like and enjoy what they do with and to my Nails. They make suggestions about what color would be nice or what design I might like if I am undecided. I have a very busy schedule and can't always make an appointment in advance but they always find a way to fit me in and do what I ask for. They are a very nice young Staff and are trying to get better with using the English language with their customers to make them feel welcome and special. Their shyness can be misinterpreted but they are trying hard to please their customers. My husband uses Hollywood Nails to get a pedicure when he goes on vacation and he loves how he is treated and what they do, especially the hot towel treatment. First time at this nail salon. I had a full set put on. I was beside myself at the price! I have never paid even close for a full set of nails. Are salons raising their prices to compensate for slower business due to Covid? They tried to tell me it was because my nails were long and I had one nail painted a different color. I have never heard of such a thing. I have never given a bad review to any business but I am not ok with the price being changed and not being charged the price that they had listed on their board. Get a quote before getting your nails done here. I was charged $65 for a full set. That is ridiculous! I usually pay $45 for a full set and will not being going back. They should be ashamed clearly when the woman saw me reading the prices after taking my money she knew I was not happy and tried to justify the up charge because of extras. I didn't get any extras and my nails were very average in length! Ugh! So angry!! read more

I walk into Hollywood Nails the most welcoming friendly staff. There pedicures are unbelievable. They will use hot rocks and and take time to massage. I have been getting acrylic fills for over 30 years ago. Due to pandemic pricing going through the roof, I decided to have them taken off and get a pedicure as well. While I was having the pedicure, my nails were soaking in alcohol until the technician realized she wasn't using acetone. I guess since I didn't purchase the deluxe I got a 20 minute pedicure. I couldn't care less about hot stones and oil and told her I don't need a massage. Just wanted cuticles taken care of and the bottom of my feet smoothed. There was about 2 minutes of that and the rest was all fluff. My feet are rough and I have to fix the white skin hanging all around the toe nails. The nail take-off? She took about 1/2 of the acrylic off so I have bumps and hardened yellow acrylic on my nails that I have to have somone else take care of. I pointed out that there was still acrylic there and she said "all off." I realize prices have increased due to the pandemic but does service need to decrease? I've been to a ton of salons over the years and I've never felt this way about work done. Go somewhere else! read more

This place is DISGUSTING! The employees have no idea what they're doing unless it's playing on an iPad! I brought my daughter there today to have her eyebrows waxed while I got a gel mani & the wax was not even heated up. The girl literally put wax that was not warm enough on my daughters face & ripped it off. When I went to see what was taking so long the girl tried to down play everything & wasn't being honest with me. My daughters eye was red & swollen. I recently had a bad experience at Hollywood nails in Cedarville...the male technician was very rough and not paying attention also trying to hurry he gave me a cut on the outer edge of my big toe with the metal instrument. I bled for quite a while and it was painful ....he never apologized or said anything he was too interested in the soccer game on TV ...I ended up having to get a tetanus shot ...I will never go there again. read more

Hollywood nails usually gets me in quickly and easily and I don't have to call for an appt. they do take appts too. They have a ton of services and nail options to choose from. The price is average for the area but the setting could use some updating. read more

The first thing I noticed was the dirty floor. Then, as I was in the chair there were little children running around barefooted, hanging on their parents as the parents are trying to do the services. The man who did my pedi kept knocking over the ultralight machine and smudging everything. They do not take credit cards -only cash or check. I got no receipt or bill for the services and the amounts were not posted anywhere. Would love to see the tax forms, maybe the I R S needs a heads up! Bad experience overall! read more

Very friendly group of nail technicians who all seem to do a good job. It's a no frills type place but their manis/pedis are good, and they are very accommodating. They have long hours so getting an appt is usually very easy, though they are more busy in the summer. I have been a customer for several years and have no complaints. read more

I just started getting manicures a few months ago. Never having gone anywhere else, I have nothing to compare this to; I just know, when I call for an appt, they say "come right in." When I leave, my nails look great and as I have been having shellac polish, they look great until the growth line is obvious (2-3 wks) and it's time to go back. Large selection of colors. The technicians are very nice and very good. Language is a minor barrier, and I feel a little left out when the technicians speak Vietnamese to one another. Great job and price is right! read more

I have been to other nail salons and they just don't do as nice of a job. I love that they're open on Sundays in the Summer, it's my only day to relax! read more
