I was not impressed with how the inspection was conducted nor with the inspector, so I called HVR and they came out the same day - took pictures and used technology to measure the moisture level without an inspection fee. I experienced a flood in my home due to leaking pipe from my neighbor. I'm a renter and my landlord…read morecalled this company to restore. I had to leave my home because of asbestos. Fortunately my renters insurance covered all their cost which were outrageous. I believe they subcontracted two men from Jordan (they claim they did not do this but the guys they brought in hardly spoke any English and were not wearing company clothing) to pack my stuff and claimed 20 hrs @$60 per hr for each of these men. They did not work not even 10hours. They charged my insurance almost $10k to pack my stuff. When I complained about the cost, they claimed that they charged $10k so they can receive $5k. But once my insurance sent ME the full amount they claimed that $10k to pack my stuff was fair. They sent a young man in sandals on a random day to my house to pick up the check. No logo no nothing just a random dude in shorts and sandals . I called to make sure it was legitimate and yes he works for them. The first thing they did as soon as I walked out of my house when they packed my stuff was take my Internet box and router to disconnect my cameras. When I complained about my Internet being disconnected for no reason they brought back the boxes and they were both broken and cables missing. I had to call spectrum to come and repair the boxes so I can have my cameras running. Then I was lead to believe I had to be out of my home for 1 week. By day 5 of that week no one had showed up to my house to do anything. Finally someone showed up and worked for 2 hrs and left . And then they extended the time until I exhausted my $$ for my housing portion of my insurance. I returned to my house and for more than a week no progress was made. I requested a quote to reconstruct and just to get the quote it took more than 3 more days. By now it's been more than a month. In the very very expensive quote they could not guarantee repairs would be finished in less than 4 weeks. This would mean I would have been out of a home for about 3 months in total. Therefore I went with another company to repair my home which charged less and finished in 4 days. When I complained about my Internet boxes and all the time that had passed that was so unnecessary, Servpro said they would not charge me the back pack (because those 10k they received was only to pack my stuff out not to bring it back which is insane). When they did bring my stuff back, they broke my fridge handle and said they'd replace it but I never heard back from them again. They also broke a few cups. But the worst of it all was that my stuff that was stored was brought back with ROACHES! I now have to treat for roaches because wherever they stored my stuff was also infested. Fortunately, my husband does pest control and is now treating my home. (I have never had a pest issue and from his expertise I know for a fact it came from serv pro) I feel like they prolonged the work so they can charge more storage time . I feel like they are very unprofessional and incredibly expensive. I do not recommend this company at all. There are many other restoration companies that charge way less and have the jobs completed way faster and the only reason this company was involved was because my landlord contracted with them. But she lives far away and I had to deal with their unprofessional and slow work . I recommend Mr Felix Carpet, mom and pop business and they also specialize in restoration

The people they send are not licensed contractors, the workers did not know how to do repair, lay carpet we had to reject the carpet three times that is was put down. The paint job was horrible, they would not return calls their project managers very unprofessional specially one named Carlos which I complained about his innapropriate behavior. I can go on, but put insult to injury is when I would not release the last payment until they fixed all the horrible work they filed to put a lien on the property.. The owner Eric Soza is AWOL, he showed up once promising to return and supervise the work he never showed up again. They also do not pay the vendors that did the work so the vendors wanted us to pay them when our insurance paid serv pro 80k they couldn't pay their vendors. This company is very dishonest. Tal came out daily to take new moisture readings and adjust the blower and dehumidifier setup. They patiently listened to and answered all of my questions. All areas are now dry and ready for repair. Based on my experience with them, I highly recommend Advanced Restoration & Construction! The company also helped me deal with my Progressive home insurance. Tal's office assisted me in communicating with them, filling out all the required forms and documents, and ensuring everything was handled smoothly. After seeing Tal and his team's level of care and professionalism during the mitigation process, I also decided to hire them for the repairs. They handled everything consistently, replacing the damaged drywall and baseboards, repainting and restoring the affected areas and bring them back to their original condition. What stood out for me was their attention to detail and, of course, their respect for my home throughout the process.
