The donuts here are the typical variety one hopes for with glazed donuts, chocolate glazed sugar cake, old-fashioned, etc. Inside are tables if you want to eat breakfast inside. I stopped at Rise 'n Shine this morning and was greeted by the fragrance of deliciousness and two very sweet ladies. The shop is clean and bright and the cases are filled with delectable pastries, but I was on a mission. I asked for two apple fritters and they were huge and delicious looking. I paid and took them home. The proof is in the tasting. Crisp outside, soft and moist and appley inside. Sheer delicious perfection.
