The ABSOLUTE WORST shop to use. Literally took our classic car there in June and was told it would take about 2 weeks. We are in August and still don't have our car back. To top it off, the mechanic who is working on it, is the only honest employee there. He explained that management continues to move him off my car to work on others because they hadn't ordered parts or ordered the wrong ones. I have gone there multiple times to check on it in person and the car wasn't even touched. Keep getting the run around to the point where I had my wife call and try to put pressure on them as she was anxious to get it back and the younger manager told her 2 days and complained she yelled at him. Well what do you expect, when you've had the cat for over 6 weeks at that point and can't get it done. Today, I go down and there is a Corporate Employee there so the manager didn't want to lie to me in front of him. So he pulls me to the side and says he'll have it done today even if they have to stay late. Mind you I've been told this 2 times previously. So disappointed, like c'mon just be honest and say it will take 8+ weeks and then I would not be calling or going down there. Now I'm stuck because my car is not put together so not like I can just drive off with it. Stupid on my part for paying them in full. Must be why they are lagging. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation and ac repair. I had to leave it there for a couple of days for them to get the part and then complete the repairs. When I picked my vehicle up, my amazon alexa bluetooth device was missing. I asked them if they had removed it to do the work or knew where it was and they said they did not and were sure that none of their guys would have taken it. I can't know for sure if it was an employee of the shop or if it was stolen while sitting out in their lot for a couple of days while they waited for the part, but there was no forced entry, so they must not have had my vehicle secured if that was the case. So just be sure not to leave anything in your vehicle when you take it in for service at this location. read more

I've heard many good things about this place.. I have a Amg Mercedes and it was time for a b service which the dealer said it will be 800$ for the oil and filter but it may go higher in price if more things are needed.. took it to purrfect auto and they checked everything and all that was needed was the oil change and filter walked out paying a little under 150.. the staff was very nice and honest I believe.. I also am a women and have always thought were taken advantage of but didn't feel that way here.. I will bring my cars here from now on read more

Ok, so this review is loooooooooong overdue. Purrfect Auto Service has been keeping my cars running and in tip-top shape for YEARS. For as long as I've lived in the area, this has been my "go to" repair shop. They got my 2003 Ford Mustang to register almost 200k miles with minimal repairs, which I sold for a great price. They got my 2008 Toyota Corolla to register 120k miles with minimal repairs, which I also sold for a great price. I now own a 2016 Toyota RAV 4 (Currently 100k miles) and 2016 Chrysler Mini Van (50k miles) and guess what? Still TIP TOP shape...both vehicles. To those reviewers who complain about bringing in your car for an oil change and being hit with a bill for additional repairs and such: yeah, that happens. I've taken my car in for an oil change and I'll get a call saying something like, "Hey, you may wanna change the struts" or, "Hi, we put it up on the rack and we noticed you're leaking transmission fluid"...stuff like that. You know what? I've appreciated it, every time. I've always asked, "Is that something that needs to be taken care of NOW, or you think I can wait?" and they've always answered honestly. This is why I believe I've taken all my cars to over 100k miles with no major problems down the road (no break downs on freeways and such). read more

All I can say is that trust is EVERYTHING! I trust Tom and Rich. My wife's pride and joy has cost me a lot of money at crappy, untrustworthy shops. Our 2008 BMW 750i was leaking oil, found out the last oil change place screwed the oil filter wrong and cross threaded it. Simple fix, $57.00 for the new filer, and 4 quarts of oil. This shop could have easily taken me for a lot of money, they could have lied and told me the oil pan gasket needed replacement...but they were honest and took care of me. I can now say, that I have found my repair shop and I don't need to look for another one. read more

Going to a mechanic always makes me very nervous. So much so that I will put it off for as long as possible, in fact. Months ago I came to Purrfect Auto after waiting a terribly long time for an oil change (which you should 100% NOT do) and the guys in the shop were super respectful, didn't make me feel bad, and let me know about some other work that needed to be done and gave me the pricing without pressuring me into agreeing that day. I went in yesterday for a diagnostic after a couple of weird things happening with my car, and let them know that my heat shield (which was partially disconnected and causing a horrendous rattle) would be repaired at home so no need to fuss over it. They called me promptly with a list of services I needed, were clear about pricing for each, and I agreed to 2/4 for now. They finished the work quickly, called me to pick up my car, and when I did I realized they'd done the quick fix for the heat shield too. Which I just thought was so kind. So I'm leaving this review to say that if you value good atmosphere, transparency, and solid work: this is your place. Well worth the money. read more

These guys are very fair, honest and trustworthy. I've been there twice now and I'm impressed by all of the staff I've spoken with and the fact that they do not try to upsell me. They are honest with what I need and what I don't need and they don't charge you ridiculous amounts. Went to this place for a smog check (cost $30 with certificate) since I needed one to transfer the title to a car I just bought. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes and the mechanic did a brief free inspection for my car since he knew I just bought it! I now know I need a new mount and am going to get it replaced by them on Saturday. The man in the office even went out and showed me the crack in it because he could tell I was confused lol. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell right away you can trust these guys! read more

I would not trust this mechanic at all. He ripped me off. I came here for for an engine check lights on, It took them the whole 2 weeks to find out what is wrong with my car and they kept charging me for A B and C Finally they said it was a blown head gasket and they charged me 1498$ to fix it. After a month the engine check lights came on again and I brought my car back to them and Rich the guys who works here told me that it is a blown head gasket again because we only fixed the passenger side now the driver side is blown. Shame on these guys they charge you double than what the other mechanic charges for the same service and they can't fix your car too. These guys are professionally criminal who will send a coupon of 15$ oil change to you and once you come here they will charge you thousand and can never help you. Have had to bring the same car back 4 times for problems they never fixed the first place. Started with my car overheated, liquid everywhere seemed like the engine blew and there was some weird slushie looking fluid in my coolant tank. Richard told me I need a new engine and would replace everything that goes along with a new engine including the coolant tank for $2,833 on 5/3/2019. Then on 5/9/2019 my car overheated again with still the slushie looking fluid in my coolant tank, brought it back said he flushed everything including the radiator again for $137.17(should have been a part of the original repair). Then the next day I noticed there was STILL slushie in my coolant tank so I brought it back again and he reassured me that it was ok. Then on 8/14 I brought it back for a broken coolant hose (i argued that this should have been replaced with the first repair and he refused to agree with me and charged me to fix the repair that he didn't do right the first time) for $140.33. Now only one month later my engine is overheating AGAIN, turns out Richard never flushed the radiator when he replaced the engine and I finally got smart and brought my car somewhere else! This repair cost me $595 to replace the radiator and the new mechanic told me that they overcharged me for something they weren't even qualified to do(never flushed the radiator). Don't ever go here they will have you coming back to fix the same thing over and over again burning a hole in your wallet! read more
