Went in on a Saturday for a smog check. I was told the technician wasn't there. I thought, 'Oh, maybe just not on weekends.' Nope. "He only comes in on Mondays and Tuesdays sometimes. I don't know. He isn't feeling well." Well which is it? Does he only sometimes come in? Do you actually not know? Or is he sick right now? Total bs. The guy I talked to was nice enough. But that is a pretty terrible business model. I went elsewhere. read more

Don't take your car here for service. You might not ever get it back. My surburban has been there since Thanksgiving. Today is January 3rd 2026. It was also broken into, my tools, stereo equipment, fishing gear and hunting gear were stolen. I also found 2 syringes in the back of my surburban. One full of meth and ons full of heroine. The partied and got high in the back of my surburban after they stole everything. Ive given them chances to make this right. The manager no longer works there and they told mt their insurance expired 4 months ago. I later found out cars were stolen and also broken into last week. Im going to make a police report and call a lawyer DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE !!! read more

Took my Honda Pilot in and they got it done. Simple, quick, and everything's been running good since. Can't complain.

They''re conniving! I went in for a smog and even though my car passed the actual test I was told that the catalytic converter was installed wrong. They asked "I don't even know if that"s the right converter for your car but just go up the block to my muffler guy and he'll help you install it right!" There was no way he could ran the test without entering the numbers displayed on my converter. They failed me because he categorized my converter AS "TAMPER" and then kept suggesting I go to his muffler guy up the block. I'm assuming I looked like an easy target because I was a woman who was by herself. This is the second time Purrfect Auto has given me issues. Last time it was in the city of Fontana. Looks like they're out to make ppl spend extra money...NEVER GOING TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! read more

Pls don't fall for their $45 oil change offer in the mail. I took my car to get an oil change. So my oil change light turned on way too soon. I got confident that I had just changed my oil so I said okay I'm on a budget it can wait a little. I just so happen to change my car brakes and they checked my oil and the stick was COMPLETELY DRY!!! Not a drop on it. There is absolutely no reason why there would be absolutely nooo oil in my car after 3 months of changing it. I'm glad my car didn't completely get ruined because that's a very delicate matter !!! They're lucky I found out in time they saved themselves a huge lawsuit. Oh and my car isn't leaking oil I checked!! Oh and of course they tried to upsell me. Pls don't come to this place!! read more

This place is a joke. Manager/Owner Marc is the rudest manager i've ever come across... more money hungry than authentic. Even to his own employees. Decided to go here for an oil change, instead they killed my car battery which had no prior problems and was not even 6 months old. Blamed me saying I came in with a bad battery. Tech who changed my oil was apparently new and spilled oil on my exhaust, so I made it 2 mins away and my car started SMOKING. Came back and the technician Anthony almost closed the garage on me and said "go inside to talk to them." But then once Mark started yelling at him he all of a sudden apologized for his behavior and tried to fix the problem. Terrible Terrible service. Never recommending, never returning. read more

I'm genuinely impressed with the service I received at this shop--it truly exceeded my expectations. After nearly two years of frustration with ongoing noise issues in my Subaru Impreza, and multiple unsuccessful visits to both CarMax (six times in one year) and the Subaru dealership (four times), I had nearly given up. Despite repeatedly explaining the issue, I was either told it had been resolved (usually with brake replacements) or that nothing could be found. Two family members recommended this shop, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. I described the noise coming from my car, and they quickly diagnosed it as a problem with the wheel bearings. We went on a test drive to confirm the sound. The repair was completed within a few hours. Not only did they provide transportation home while I waited, but they also made sure the car was ready by 5 pm on the dot so I can go to work. The level of service, transparency, and care was outstanding. They even included an oil change, brake service, and fluid change at a very fair price. Oh yeah! AND they even washed my car. I'm incredibly grateful to have found such a reliable and honest auto shop. I'll be bringing my Ford Ranger here next, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Highly recommended. So I really want to give Purrfect Auto Service five stars. After all, the $19.99 coupon for a smog check that came in the mail almost seemed too good of a deal to be true but they honored it and it's a total bargain. Mark was friendly enough and I didn't wait too long for the smog check. On most days this is a quick and easy five star review. However, there was one thing that I just can't look past and I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned it. When I arrived, there were not one but two employees with cigarettes in their hand or mouth while working on the cars. At first it seemed like they weren't lit, which still isn't great as far as optics go but not dangerous or anything like that. But over the course of my 45-minute wait, both of these employees light their cigarettes up and had them in their mouths with the hoods of the cars that they were working on open and (in my car's case) the engine running. Now I know there are still plenty of people that smoke and smoking cigarettes by itself isn't against the law, but I'd imagine there are rules somewhere prohibiting cigarette smoking by employees working on cars in an auto shop. And if there aren't, that can't possibly be safe and really isn't a good look. Once again, the deal for the smog check with the coupon was great and probably can't be beaten. But as the old adage goes, "you get what you pay for," and in this case that's the probably-slight risk of danger with lit cigarettes over the hoods of cars with their engines on on a scorching hot summer day. Based on this alone, I probably won't be back to Purrfect Auto Care and will probably pay the extra $20-$40 for a smog check elsewhere next time. read more

Great service, honest and very transparent about what the problem was and only what needed to be done. My car was making such a rattling noise, that I thought it only needed an oil change. They found particles in the old oil and suggested a engine flush - much easier (and cheaper) fix than what other places were suggesting. Car runs great and I will be going back for my next oil change. Very hard to find honesty, they really wanted my return business. read more

Be careful of the new owner mark, I was dumb enough to bring him my car that had some damage to the axle. He put it on the lift showed me two bent pieces that were attached to my wheel and said he can do it for 800$ since the parts were 500$ and will take about 3 hours so I paid him in full. Parts took a month to come in and when they came in he said to have it in by the morning which I did. He baited me and told me I should come back since it will be done at noon and it was 9am. I left and watched the car sit on the lift from car cameras for 12 hours. Later that day mark had a crooked salesman named harry call me that he brought in only for that day to try and upsell me a bigger problem. He called me and said the part that they fixed didn't fix the problem and that it will be 3500$ to fix it properly. I went to the shop immediately to get my car and put him in a bad position when I asked to see the parts he took off the car. When I did he said the trash guy took one piece and he showed me the other one that was in perfect condition! He changed a part that didn't need to be replaced and lied about changing the other part. Be careful of this place it has a history of scamming then selling to a new owner. Be careful mark will give you a good price to get your car in the shop just so he can break things and empty your pockets. Please make this guy go out of business he deserves it that was my last 800$. Also a lot of the cars on the lifts aren't being worked on they are there to make him look busy to attract customers. read more

I have reffered a lot of people to get auto service there. Harry and John, i think are owners. They are the only two i deal with. I have never had a problem. If something wasnt perfect then i took it back and the took care of it right away. Ive had trucks serviced, smogged, brakes, repairs of all types and even purchased a used car for a friend. Ive jad probably 30-40 dealings with them and i continue to use them as my mechaninc. I would recommend them to anyone. And i do send my kids there with their cars.. read more

I went for an oil change since I got a coupon in the mail so I thought I would give them a try. When I got there everywhere it was advertise that it would be an express oil change so I figured it would've gone quick. Oh I thought wrong! No joke it took two hours! Staffing were also rude EXCEPT Isabella, she was so sweet so helpful. Once the car was done I noticed in my car setting it was all reset and I had to redo all my setting back to how I like them. Took my car in for an oil change, was quoted one thing over the phone, then in person the guy tells me he gave me s discount because it's usually more.. don't lie on your quotes. Then he proceeds to tell me i have a misfire and several other issues with my car.. quoted me about $700. Took a pass and Just had the oil change.. took it to the dealership and told them what the guy said was wrong with the car. And told them the quote. Car dealership says, no.. i have no misfire, and the issues the guy brought up are incorrect.. dishonesty will get you nowhere.. went to get an oil change with a groupon I purchased for this auto shop. Once I got there I was told they didnt have the filter for my car. I tell the guy Muhammed I'll go to autozone to get a filter. I come back from autozone then Muhammed tells me they dont have time to do my car. Autozone was only 7mins away and it was still an empty lot so how much has changed that quickly? My fiance then call another location located in Ontario CA and spoke to Jon who told my fiance to tell me to come there to use the groupon. I arrive at the 2nd location then Jon told me to give him cash and he wont take the groupon after telling my fiance he will over the phone. Terrible experience! Came in 8:30AM and left at 12:00pm noontime just for a smog check. A SMOG CHECK! The man helping me out would say "oh they are working on it" or "just a few more minutes". Because of this, I was late for work and was scolded by my employer. The man also scared me into buying something that I didn't need. After saying no, he combatted with horrible situations I can get into if I didn't change the Valve cover on my car that day. A plastic piece that costed over $300!
