I was looking online to see if they carry converse, as I was looking for a pair of regular black chucks. When I entered the store there were tons of staff all over which is nice to see these days. I browsed the men's section first since the shoes are pretty much the same, I couldn't find them at first so I went across the store over to the women's and couldn't find converse in women's either. I did notice the women's shoes wasn't as busy as the men's. I browsed around a bit (no one greeted me or anything in men's or women's). I did finally find them under a table display and they only had platforms for women's so I went back over to men's to take another look. I did find them and waited for a salesman to assist me. A man walked up (after me) and the shoe he wanted was next to stock room so he was helped right away. I waited and asked for help.. I was told by a rep that he had to go check on some other customers, I kept waiting and being ignored to the point I witnessed reps asking people still looking around if they needed help and finally someone came up to help me, I asked for a 7 (as I'm a 8 1/2, 9 in women's), he came back and told me the smallest size they have is an 8 which is too big. He asked who I was shopping for, I said myself and he asked me what size I wear and I said about a 9 in women's and he said "well this is men's" as if I was blind. Just didn't like the vibes all around.

The same day I went out on the ice and my skates did not feel as great as they did in store, 100% my fault I didn't really do a good fitting. So I decided to go back my receipt said I could return them within 10 days. Mind you I live an hour away. I went back Monday (Feb 2nd) at about 7:10pm I got there and I already felt pretty bad because they close at 8 so I was trying to go fast and pick something out to exchange since the guy at the counter said I could. I could not find anything for the life of me that fit perfectly or even fit at all there was a lot of options but at this point I don't even know my size. "Mark K." Was the employee that came back there and asked me if I was going alright and I was like honestly not really I can't find anything so he started giving me options and I was trying them on and they were fitting but not how i really wanted. Finally I found one that I liked but I couldn't get the laces through the rivets to tighten them up so Mark went back and laced one of the skates up for me and I tried it on. While it fit perfectly he decided to even lace up the other skate mind you this is at like 730ish he probably just wanted to go home but he was definitely present and wanted to help me out. Was afraid since I was there so late I wouldn't be able to get my skates sharpened and I would have been out of luck . Nope the team took them back and sharpened them for me and I was able to get a greater value skate and laces for the same price as the ones I had already bought. Thank you Mark really made my night. I'm a huge fan of the manager, who has worked there 25 years. And their younger staff are friendly and knowledgable about their products too. They've been extremely patient with my young sons when I brought them in the store to try on hockey skates. I'm always surprised at how generous they are to customers who consign sporting goods. This store is very fair when you consign your items. Today I got a $25 credit for ice skates that I consigned and sold through them, and I used that credit to buy soccer shin guards for my six-year old twin sons. All in all, I'm a huge fan of this store and highly recommend it to families with growing kids in sports!! It's a great way to buy high quality sporting goods for a low price.

I was in need of a visor for my CCM hockey helmet. I came into the store and was immediately…read moregreeted by Brett who asked if I needed help and he helped me pick out a visor that worked for me. he then offered to put on the visor on my helmet for me. After trying for about 15 minutes he brought in his manager Adam who tried to put the visor on for me. They were struggling to put this on because I own a very old helmet and it was very difficult to put newer visors on a helmet like this. Through the frustration of not being able to put it on Adam worked for over an hour to help put on my visor and it ended up fitting in the end. I really appreciate how hard he worked to put this together his effort didn't go unnoticed. All three employees who were on staff Adam , Brett, and Bill were all very helpful and greeted other customers that came into the store and treated them with respect. while I was waiting for my helmet to be put on we engaged in conversation and it helped pass the time. This was a very personal and good experience in the store. I would definitely recommend pure hockey in Burnsville if you're around the area and need something related to hockey.

I wore them walking when I got home and I had the wrong socks on. They were uncomfortable. Today I had my Feetures socks on and did the 5K and it was better. With 20% off and being marked down, they still were $95.00. Oh well, YOLO.

In the past, we've had good luck finding larger items here too, like snowboarding gear and even a Yakima Sky Box (large lockable box we take camping for extra car storage).
