We received daily reports on how the pups were doing; photos, e-cards, videos and text messages. We could not have asked for a more professional, caring or thorough person to look after our dogs. I'm fairly certain the pups are still looking for Jackie at her scheduled arrival times (even though we've been home for a little more than a day now). So anyway, since working with Ashleigh and Clark and the team, our dog's gone from "shoulda been a sled dog" leash-pulling to a pretty good walker. He's gone from "attack on sight" when on his leash to being a pretty cool dude when joggers or walkers pass by us in our neighborhood. And so on. Long story short, she's taking the former abused stray dog that we adopted a couple years ago, with all the problems that go along with that, and making him a better Citizen Canine. Ashleigh responded to my email inquiry immediately with options for a free consultation at my house to meet my dog. She is very easy to get ahold of, and flexible with scheduling. She came over, met Paisley, and was willing to work with him despite his growling at her and being distrustful. She spent 90 minutes with me, answering a ton of questions, explaining all kinds of things about dogs she has learned in her years of experience working with them, and familiarizing me with Puppin' Around's policies/procedures. She walked me through everything I would need to do to prepare Paisley for walks with her. She has put up with constant texts and calls from me, especially the first day she was going to my house to walk Paisley. Her fees are extremely affordable, especially considering the amount of time she puts into her clients. She has also been EXCELLENT with Paisley. Each and every visit is carefully documented and they always leave cute comments about how the cats are doing and what they're up to. Upon request, the staff is even accommodating about sending pictures to keep us updated. We love receiving the pictures while we're away! We feel we've really built a trusting bond with this company, and we will continue to use their services for years to come. When you're away from home, you don't want feel stressed about whether your furry family members are okay... with PCAP, we always feel very assured that the kitties are in good hands, so we can relax and have a good time on vacation. This company was a God-send!…read more Over the holidays, I was in need of some one to watch my Lab mix doggie for 10 days. I absolutely did NOT want to put her in a kennel. I wanted to her to be in her own environment (I'm one of those people that view their dogs as part of the family and my husband and I like to refer to her as our "fur-baby", so yes, we are over protective dog-parents). All my friends who normally would have watched her- couldn't, due to the fact it was over Christmas and New Years- Panicking, I did a quick search on Yelp and found this place. I saw they have good reviews, so I emailed the owner, Meghan Gilliatt, and she emailed me back right away (um, amazing service!) She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a free consultation with the manager, Laurie. She came over to our house and right away we knew that the people who work here, love pets! Our dog immediately loved Laurie (after all dogs know right away if some one is a doggie-lover) We set up our doggies visits while we were away. While we were gone, the employees sent me text updates with pictures every day! They also fill out a daily visit "report card" so you know everything that went on for each visit. I loved that even though we were far away, our dog was happy in her own home and getting so much love! The groomer Lauren said he was matted on his ears and neck so he needed to be short. My son picked up our dog because I was at work. When I arrived home and saw my dog I was FURIOUS! He was hairless to the point you can see his bones. I paid $122 which includes de-matting but he has no hair so what was departed? Literally shaved him bald. I never received a call asking for permission to cut off all his hair. My dog doesn't even look like himself. Every time I look at him I want to cry because I'm so angry. I called to cancel his future appointment and i was asked what happened and did I want to go to another location. No THANK YOU! Will no longer be utilizing their daycare or boarder services either because I don't trust them with my fur child.

I do NOT recommend Pawz Inn for grooming. While their boarding services are fine, their grooming…read moreservices are sub-par. I dropped off my German shepherd for grooming services. They cleaned her fine but they didn't have the tools necessary to get to her undercoat. This has caused some serious matting to my dog's undercoat. At first glance, she seemed fine. Her coat was clean and she was fluffy. However, upon further examination, I noticed her undercoat was severely matted, to the point where she's in pain any time I try to rake her coat to resolve the matting. They had called me and told me that they "tried their best" and that they couldn't get to her undercoat properly. But I wasn't aware it was this bad. She didn't have any matting before I dropped her off. After trying to get her mats out for a week myself, I had to go to another groomer to fix the mats. It took several hours and over $180 to fix the problem they caused. They might be fine for small dogs or short coat breeds, but if you have a large dog with a thick undercoat, DO NOT bring your dog here. If they didn't have the tools necessary, they should have let me know from the beginning. I would've rather had them deny service than deal with the repercussions of them doing the poor job they did. They even charged me the full $100 for the grooming when all they did was make my dog matted.
