I brought up that I would like to have a baby and I feel that this location was my reign of luck. Shortly after, I became pregnant. I saw many doctors and each one did not fall short of wonderful. The nurses were also absolutely amazing. Up to the day of having my baby everything was just wonderful. When it was time to be induced, I was met with wonderful ladies in labor and maternity. Toward the end of my visit, I was so sad to go because it felt like it became home for me and the nurses felt as though I had known them for so long. My daughter Alessandra had a rough first week and came back in to be put in the NICU for Jaundice treatment. The entire time, the nurses were very welcoming and supportive. My daughter as I write this is now 3 weeks old and doing absolutely amazing. She excels every single day and is growing beautiful and healthy. I couldn't thank the whole team enough. It actually makes me look forward to hopefully having another child in the future because I definitely will be coming here if I still live in the area! Thank you to the team at NYPH! You're all loved!

I was in labor for three days and stayed at the hospital for five and my husband and I still rave about how well we (plus our girl!) were treated. What a warm all-star team, from our midwife Linda to Katelyn our nurse and our OB Dr. Shaw, who made giving birth one of the biggest, coolest, bravest things I could do. I'd always heard that Northern Westchester has got a great labor and delivery dept but this went beyond anything I dreamed. Plus, the food is unreal. Feasting on salmon, chicken quesadillas, pancakes, and green smoothies pre and post-birth? Your own room? 24-hour nonstop help and advice? A first-time-parent's dream. 5 stars!!!!

I spent five days being brought back to myself with steady care. The staff was great throughout AND the food; menu and preparation, were a real positive surprise. The right place, the right care. I have nothing but positive things to say about this location…read more I've had multiple appointments with different doctors here pre covid, I've gone to the urgent care during covid for an almost broken toe, I've done virtual visits through the virtual CareMount and all the doctors and staff have been so nice. During covid they've been very safe, keeping everyone social distanced and as less people as possible. Visits are easy, you make the call from your car while you're in the parking lot and wait to be called without having to be with a big crowd. Temperature checks and everyone is covered up and suited up. Love this Brewster location. Conveniently located.

They didn't give her MRIs CAT scans just in the x-ray of her nose. That was ridiculous and then they put you out in the lobby waiting to wait for the x-ray for the nose. We must've got there like at 10:30 didn't leave till 5 o'clock in the morning. You can clearly see they have no staff no doctors because nobody was coming and going. Then order suddenly at maybe 3:30 AM people started moving inside and coming and going and being seen. Definitely Putnam Hospital much better.

She was in no condition to leave but they wanted her out. I argued with them that she was in no condition to leave and all they would say is go get your car and pull it up to the door so we can get your mother inside it. They didn't care about her at all, they wanted her out of the hospital.

On the next day she was admitted into hospital. All the staff we met when she stayed there were responsible, kind, and patient. Especially Dr. Fritzgerald Estinfa, who was in charge of my mother in ER, was very experienced and rich in medical knowledge. He diagnosed accurately and gave the best treatment quickly. He was also very patient when explaining the situation to my mother and persuaded her to accept the next step treatment ASAP, which allowed her symptoms to be relieved the next day without need of surgery. In a word Dr. Fritzgerald Estinfa is not only excellent in his medical practice, but also sincerely concerned for his patient's well being, and care for their emotion need as well. Thanks Dr. Fritzgerald Estinfa and Good Samaritan Hospital, who gave my mother a wonderful experience in a urgent health problem.

They were very concerned not only for my husband but for his family too. I received updated during his surgery with this special App called "Family First" my kids and some friends were able to be updated through Harry's surgery.. This was very much appreciated. And comforting. The nurse Lisa would actually call me at home when he made any progress. Mike the nurse was my husband's favorite nurse. The experience was a great one even in a very scary situation. We also had a private waiting room that was very helpful for family to gather.

Walked directly in to the lobby reception and was greeted by two friendly desk associates. The check in required photo identification for both of us. Clear instructions to the Dr Office on the first floor. DR CHOI's office: Checked in by Kelly~ friendly and efficient. Nearly immediately checked with procedures and sent us to X~ray registration on level one lobby. ( this seemed like the only redundant process) there was no line, so we were able to check in quickly with the friendly desk representative who knew we were on our way- Good communication between Kelly at Dr Choi's office and Radiology reception. Within minutes we were on the way to 2nd floor radiology. RADIOLOGY: smooth arrival experience ( I recommend that you snap a photo of your script for your records before handing it over. They were accommodating for this when we asked, this may save time from having to ask for records later. WAITING: one other patient was in the waiting room when we arrived. The waiting room is organized, well lit, and clean. There is a TV The wait was reasonable and brief about 7 minutes. Erica and student Tammy greeted us and requested the script ~ we directed them to the desk agent. Within a minute, they left for X-ray. More pleasant staff. All is going smoothly for Radiology. I will review Dr Choi separately.

He was on DUTCHESS COUNTY HOSPICE- he was found to be in A FIB - HR over 140 - can't breath - in pain as he has lung cancer & COPD along with a slew of other issues and not walking. He goes to Vassar and they send HIM HOME!! home cate not approved yet -- NO AIDE SERVICE AT ALL --- HE ARRIVES home FRIDAY 8/14/26 @6pm. O2 ORDER INCORRECT -- TANK PEOPLE SAY 2L and a family had to call hospital and they said 5L - was 6L while he was admitted. They figure that out. Saturday we call home care place - we have his paperwork however, the case manager was supposed to have primary call and fill out the paperwork- case worker screwed that up too and had hospital DR sign it. PRIMARY CARE Says "hey -- we haven't seen you -- we won't fill out the paperwork until you come in." SUNDAY NO NURSE SERVICE - NO AIDE -- NO PAIN PILLS -- SENT FROM PHARMACY--. I Called again frantically-- DR CARLOS SANCHEZ states "I made a huge mistake -I forgot to send pain pills". --- SUNDAY 6:20pm -- Asian DR calls - no name given at all -- SAYS "I can't give him pain pills "he was discharged 48hrs ago." Monday comes -- home care nurse says hey "his primary needs to sign off on paperwork". -- Son visits after work and find him sitting in wheelchair crying in pain. We call back -- patient experience by the way is the best sweet person to report all the wrong doings this hospital did to him . Discharge on 8/14/26 - he calls himself another ambulance on 8/20/26 as he is in pain and he fell twice. Meanwhile PT states he is best to go to REHAB FACILITY -- but because he said I'd rather go home -- NOTHING TO GO home too but himself!!!!! -- DO BETTER STUPID VASSAR CASE WORKER -- HOW YOU LIKE IT WE DID TYAT TO YOUR FATHER??? This hospital didn't help this man -- all persons deserve good care and good judgment-- so NOW he is back in the hospital -- I've complained to NY STATE and they say the hospital isn't wrong!!!!!! 1 star -- A deeply disturbing experience at MidHudson Regional Hospital…read more My husband was admitted to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie on the evening of August 28, 2026, for profuse bleeding from his groin/urethral catheter site and a UTI that was already being treated by his nursing home. I am his legal guardian. This was his seventh hospitalization in approximately 10 weeks for these recurring problems. During his hospitalization, I was asked about another CT scan. I then learned that a CT performed on August 28 had actually been a brain CT. I had not been informed that a brain CT had been performed. The hospital record reportedly listed "altered mental status" as the reason for the brain CT. My husband does become confused/delirious when he develops an infection, and I specifically told the hospital staff that this is what happens to him when he has a UTI/infection. His reason for being brought to the ER, however, was profuse bleeding from the groin/urethral catheter area while being treated for a UTI, not an unexplained neurological problem. I am not saying that a brain CT can never be appropriate for an elderly patient with altered mental status. I am saying that the hospital should be able to clearly explain what altered mental status they observed, when it occurred, what I reported about his infection-related delirium, and why a brain CT was considered necessary in the circumstances. I am also extremely concerned that I was not informed about the CT at the time it was performed. The discharge experience was equally unacceptable. On August 31, caseworker Megan told me my husband was medically cleared for discharge and that an ambulance would pick him up at 2:00 PM. His nursing facility is only about 10 minutes from the hospital. I went to the facility at approximately 3:30 PM to meet him. He wasn't there. I was terrified. Given his condition and his repeated hospitalizations, I feared that he had suffered a medical emergency, had coded, or had been involved in an accident during transportation. I called the hospital and was then told that the pickup time had been changed to 5:30 PM. Nobody had called me to tell me that the scheduled transportation had been delayed by three and a half hours. For a vulnerable patient and his legal guardian, this is not a minor scheduling problem. A guardian should know where a patient is and when he is being transported. The combination of the unexplained brain CT, inadequate communication about significant diagnostic testing, and the failure to notify me about a major change in discharge transportation has completely destroyed my confidence in this hospital. I will never voluntarily take my husband back to MidHudson Regional Hospital. I am filing a formal complaint and requesting an investigation into these events, including the medical indication for the brain CT, the documentation of "altered mental status," communication with his legal guardian, and the discharge/transportation failure.
