When first entering there is an area with an employee and then to the left there are two flights of stairs and elevators. When you get to the top it is an open space. There is a large bar and two sides with pars (with electronic scoring) and another area with a stationary putting option. You choose your option and pay at the kiosk areanto the left. There are several options to choose from. They also offer group activities for corporate ideas.

Went for a birthday celebration. Went during opening weekend and pre ordered tickets. Everything was excellent! Parked right across the street. Greeted right when we arrived. A member of our party has limited mobility and staff accommodated our party. Decor is fun and engaging: one sees the scores of each party member as we play. Fun times for all ages! Very family friendly. We went back a couple of weeks later and had the same amazing experience. We did not order food, maybe next time

I've been to the Puttshack in Old Orchard many times and always wished we had one in the North Shore. And about a year ago I found out my prayers were answered when they announced Old Orhchard was getting a Puttshack. The construction seemed to take longer than expected, but they finally opened up their doors in June...and it was worth the wait. It's such a great spot for to kill a little time with our kids. 9 holes takes about 30 minutes and if you're really feeling ambitious you can do both courses and make it an hour. We went for some family fun this past weekend and then walked over to Bar Siena for dinner. However, I've eaten at the Oakbrook Puttshack many times and the food is pretty good! I expected it to be more crowded on a Sat night, but there were only a few people on the course and the restaurant itself wasn't very full. My husband even asked if we wanted to eat there instead. I was tempted, but we had a reservation at Bar Siena so will save Puttshack for next time. I'm especially excited to have this as an excuse to drag my boys to the mall. While my daughter never has to be convinced to head to the mall, they could use a fun activity there. We've attended some fun larger events at Oakbrook (ex: bat mitzvah) and it looks like this Puttshack has the space to do the same so will also consider for any big or small event needs I have in the future.

From the 4 different mini-putt courses to the virtual mini-golf simulators, this place is tons of fun. They also have a full bar and a great food menu. The staff is excellent and the atmosphere is party time!

First time visiting here! Excited to see what this was about! When we walked in we had two sessions scheduled at the mini golf. Both were good. Lots of fun. Great for families and kids. The courses were clean and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We stopped between courses for a drink at the bar and opted for two non-alcoholic drinks (see photo with menu) and if I could give 0 stars I would. Very bitter tasting. For something with agave or lime or whatever, even if it's a spritzer, it tasted like the bitter pit of a fruit. Zero sweetness. Someone revamp that menu quick. Because if I were given a fantastic drink I would've ordered another. We drank maybe 1/3? Of the drink and anyway. The food: 5 stars. Such a contrast in the offerings. Amazing food. The salad? Muah! 5 stars. Tacos? 5 stars. Definitely coming again. The manager or someone came up to us when we were eating and seemed to be checking in with customers about their experience. So I did talk with him about the drinks and he credited it back to us and that was awesome. We didn't expect that. Super friendly and was genuinely interested in peoples' feedback.

I visited Puttshack for the first time with friends and it was such a fun and unique experience. The technology makes it so convenient, as you don't need to manually track points or hits like you usually do for mini golf. It also is such a fun spin on mini golf, because no hole is like the last! Each round (9 holes) took four players about 30-45 minutes, which makes the $14 cost per player reasonable. However, we ended up wanting to play 2 more rounds, so the all you can putt Sunday $25 deal might be the best option if you're planning to do more than one round. We enjoyed some drinks while playing (which may I say made the experience even more fun) and it was so convenient to drink and play, as there were stations to leave your drink on while you played. There were also hooks for hanging purses and coats at every station. The drinks themselves were great and reasonably priced (around $13-16 per cocktail). We had such a fun time and I'd love to go back with friends or family.

Celebrated my Son's birthday and we had a blast. Everyone in this place is very kind and helpful. Service was great and food was good. Dr. Zack the manager was very accommodating and helpful. Our ambassador Anne was very helpful all day long. Worth coming back to this place. Ice Cream Sunday was Epic.

My hatred over this damn place!!!!!

Does it have the same 4 courses as the Oak Brook location?

The Skokie location has a mix of old and new holes on the courses, as well as the Challenge Hole suites, which are not in Oak Brook

Make sure to press the yellow foot pedals for really cool mechanical additions to the hole you're at. Although it is about $14 per person after 12 pm, I can see why! A huge location, cool mechanical additions, lights at night, arcade, and batting cages too. So a lot that goes to cost but still memorable. Make sure to support local businesses!

The good: the cost for the batting cage and the golf isn't outrageous. I'm told there are cheaper mini golf but also more expensive. The bad: they have decided everyone who goes on the course has to pay, even if you are just watching your children. I suspect this is because some "people" only paid for two admissions but two other people took turns. The ugly: They have been around for three quarters of a Century and they have no incentive to change their business model and only accept cash. I'm in a few park and playground social media groups, and the park at the Des Plaines Park District…read moreAdministrative Center has come up a time or two as being particularly good. I decided we should finally go check it out. If you're coming here for the playground, don't make the boneheaded mistake I did: Stopping at the Iroquois Community School, which is right off Touhy and when I saw the school's playground I thought we were at our destination. You will be sorely disappointed if you stop at the wrong one. If you make your way here via Birch Street, you'll go all the way to the end of the street, turn left, and find the park on the other side of the building; if you take Maple Street to get here, drive down toward the barricade dividing the street and you won't be able to miss it on your right. With all that out of the way, this is a fantastic park. When we left the school playyard, something just seemed off and I am so glad that I went around the block to find the actual playground we'd intended to visit, at the DPPD. It's all the way back at the end of the road; you'll essentially dead-end into when you head down Birch. This is my current favorite playground. The equipment is fantastic and so much of it is geared toward the littlest kiddos, which is not always the case. Here there are small things for them to climb on and under, there's a little "farmers market" booth with different play elements, crawl spaces, slides, and so on. My little girl had fun just running around the place, and she also did some crawling and climbing and sliding and enjoyed trying to feed the big turtle sculpture, as well as naming the turtle's body parts that she recognized. Toward the tail end of our visit, she spotted the swings, which is her favorite so we spent a while there before heading out. All told, we spent about 45 minutes here. The first time, that is--we've since been back again in the last week or so since our first visit and were there for an hour or more. There are several picnic tables in this playground area as well, so many of the parents were hanging out there whilst the kids ran around. This playground is geared toward younger kids (10 and below). The terrain is turf, grass, and paved walkways throughout, and it's fully fenced which is one of my favorite features of a park right now (though some parents are better than others about making sure the gates are actually closed). There's a private parking lot, very convenient. I hope we see you there!
