Omg ! As a new mom I was terrified so I asked friends and this place was recommend and I have to say my son loves it ! Ms. Molly is the best, my son as transitioned to multiple rooms and with staffing challenges in todays society things have still been great! I love that they share pictures with me at times through the day if I have raised any questions to calm my nerves ! I highly recommend. !! Everyone is incredible !! I would refer anyone to them ! Loving, caring teachers. My kids were more than ready for kindergarten. I would never consider another daycare! We love puzzles!

We began attending Puzzles when my oldest was 13 months old. She is now almost 4. We also have a second child that is now turning 2. We used to live/work very close to the center, in the last 2 years we have moved to another area of town and we go out of our way to drop our kids to this daycare, because we enjoy it so much. They have taught my kids so many things, from words, colors, letters, and potty training. As a working mom, I know that I personally do not have the time or the patience at times, to teach my children a lot of the things that Puzzles has taught them. I am so impressed by the interactions I have with my kids after I pick them up every day. They have new words and phrases as they come home with worksheets that display words, letters, or the theme they are learning that week. They love the interactive play areas and the teachers our kids have had truly care. I will share that another review on here said they have "Several teachers in one class" that is true to a point. As we know 40 hours a week is the FT hours most work. With that said the center is open 7am-6pm every day and that is well over a 40 hour week (55 hours), so there are times when another teacher is in the classroom to give lunch breaks, or cover the beginning or end of the work day. They have "Breakers" and these are the same rotating teachers that are in the classes each day. As for the care, I think that the teachers we have encountered care about my kids and work with them constantly. As my 4 year old is developing she is learning manners and right from wrong and I appreciate the direction that her teacher is giving her. It really makes you feel great when your child runs and hugs both her current and previous teachers each morning. The owners Tim and Kim have also shared their open door policy and walk the center daily during pick up and drop offs to greet and solicit that feedback. If you send your kids here and find something you don't like about it, having that open conversation with the staff will help, it draws their attention to it, and in the past they have been very quick to address anything I have shared with them. The term "Helicopter Mom" is definitely not my style and I do see that those that like to have more control over their kids may have issues with this center (please don't take that as in insult to helicopter moms, or a negative review about the center). I am just a mom that understands kids are kids and I think this center gives them both the freedom and the discipline to be that kid. Do my kids some times have running noses, are they bruised on their legs at times, are their clothes covered with paint some days....YES! But that comes with being a kid and also being a kid in at any daycare facility! Are they learning social cues, learning and developing, and growing into great little people... YES! I love this place! Both of our kids have attended Puzzles since they were infants and they are almost 3 and 5. The owners, management team, teachers and staff make it a point to get to know each child and family by name. The facility is huge and they are constantly making upgrades to the play centers and areas. I love that they aren't cooped up in a small classroom all day and that they have a lot of play space inside for when it's cold or the weather is bad. The curriculum, play based learning and evaluations ensure that each child "graduates" and ready for the move up to Kindergarten. read more

Negative Star!!! Our son had attended Puzzles Academy for the past 2 years. We noticed scratches on my son's face. The teacher (Gabby) confirmed by name, the student that initiated the altercation with my son and told me that after my son told her that he was hit, she allowed him to hit the other student back. A couple of weeks later, we noticed new scratches on his face on two separate occasions and our son informed us that it came from the same student. My wife insisted that I talk to Gabby about it to see if they could be separated and/or watched more closely. I spoke with Gabby and she confirmed that the same student had been hitting/scratching my son and that she allowed my son to hit him back. At this point, I told her that I prefer that they be separated and/or watched more closely to prevent my son from receiving additional scratches. Two days later upon picking up my son, I saw a more severe scratch on my son's face and Gabby instructed me to sign an incident report for the scratch. She confirmed that it was the same student that caused the earlier scratches. Due to the severity of the scratch, my wife and I decided it was time to inform the owner of the daycare (Kim Stevenson). My wife and I had a conference call with Kim, Gabby, and manager of the daycare. My wife and I indicated that we preferred to have the kids placed in separate classes due to the repetitive incidents. Kim indicated that there was only one incident on file. I informed her that even though there was only one "reported" incident, there were at least three other occasions in the past month where this particular kid had scratched my son. As the conversation continued, my wife indicated that she did not want to have to teach our child how to defend himself just to attend daycare. The owner stated that fighting is not the solution. My wife clarified that she agreed fighting was not the solution; that it shouldn't be necessary to have to teach a child to defend himself particularly at daycare. Kim insisted that no one else at the daycare had noticed any scratching prior to the most recent incident that was documented. My wife said that going forward we will take pictures of any future scratches, so that there will be no doubt that they occurred. This alarmed the owner and she said that would not be necessary. She advised us to come into the office and discuss the matter further in person. We set a time to come in to meet with Kim later that week. Upon picking up my child that same day, I saw KIm on the way to my son's class. She asked if I could step into her office. Once in the office she informs me that there are some trust issues, that she met with her staff, and they feel that it is best that our son attends a different daycare. I informed her that my wife and I did not have any trust issues, that we have been pleased with Puzzles for the past two years. We just had concerns over one kid continually scratching our son's face, particularly after we requested the teacher to separate them and with the most recent scratch being more severe. I told her that we preferred not to leave, but continue with our plan of meeting face to face to come up with solutions. Kim stated that she had concerns regarding my wife's statement of "teaching our child how to defend himself" and "taking pictures". I assured the owner that my wife meant that we shouldn't have to teach our child how to defend himself to attend daycare and only suggested taking pictures going forward to ensure there was something we can show regarding scratches in case the daycare didn't happen to notice them (as in the prior instances). Kim continued her stance that there was a "trust" issue and we should seek a different daycare provider. Again, I stated that there was no trust issue on our behalf and that if it were to that point, I wouldn't have dropped off my son for care earlier that day. We were not planning on searching for a new daycare. We simply wanted to address a concern with scratches with our child with the owner that occurred after originally meeting with the teacher. At a minimum, I requested that we at least have the face-to-face meeting so she can hear from my wife directly of her meaning of certain statements. Again, Kim insisted that there was a "trust" issue and that we should find another daycare. I realize that my son is 2 years old and will incur and even cause scratches on/from kids. However, what I didn't realize was that if I brought something to the attention to the owner concerning my child (via a 20-minute conference call) that the decision would be to retaliate against my child and remove him from daycare. Even when I insisted that we were pleased thus far and just wanted to sit face-to-face to clarify certain statements that were taken out of context, we were denied the opportunity. read more

I transferred my daughter to Puzzles a little over 2 years ago. She is now 4 and in their Pre K program. I am so happy I switched to Puzzles. The teachers are always receptive. They are a true partner in your child's development. They have communicated well with me and have made my life worry free when I drop my child off. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The lunch staff has been amazing at accommodating my child's needs for all her allergies. I was worried because I have never dealt with allergies. It seemed like a battle before, that now they made easy and that really means a lot to me, to have everyone working with you for the common goal of what's best for your kid. Kim and Tim truly show their care into their center and staff and it shows thru your child's everyday happiness. I would definitely recommend Puzzles Academy to anyone. read more

My daughter has been there for 2 years and we absolutely love it! It is hard to find child care where the teachers love the kids almost as much as their own parents love them. My daughter loves going to "school" and seeing her teacher every day! There are days when she doesn't even want to leave. read more

I wouldn't recommend Puzzles Academy. Nothing extremely bad happened to my daughter there but I decided to take her out due to some concerns about staff supervision and none of the staff being qualified or seemed caring. Walked into my daughters classroom everyday and her teacher was always on her phone!not acceptable because if your eyes are on your phone your attention clearly isn't on the kids. Unfortunately a teacher's aide/sub whom we loved dearly who helped out in all classrooms left and we were devastated because she was one of the only teachers my daughter really liked. Luckily we were able to reconnect with the teacher via Facebook and I messaged her asking where she was at now and we decided to tour that facility and ended up LOVING it and now my daughter is being sent there, unfortunately my daughter couldn't be in her class due too the teacher teaching an age younger than my daughters age but she still sees her favorite teacher everyday and loves it there! Thankful to have sent my daughter to puzzles only because we now use this teacher as a babysitter on the weekends as well! Don't recommend puzzles. read more

I'd give 0 or in the even in the negatives if i could. I don't even know where to start with this place. Started out where she would come home bruised and bleeding from scratches, some of which actually turned into scars, asked multiple times why we never got accident reports for the incidences and they insisted that they always give them if there is an accident causing injury so it must have not happened there and no matter what I said, they were convinced they did no wrong and it didn't happen. The majority of the staff have absolutely no idea how to be in charge or take care of children. If your child does anything but sit like a zombie and not move, you're probably going to have issues. My daughter is almost 3.5 and they had her in a 2 year old room (which is absolutely ridiculous and literally everyone I've consulted about it is in agreeance) then they were shocked that she was "disruptive" (because she was beyond bored mostly) they insisted that ALL of their managing staff had tried to keep her "under control" but couldn't. Which is where we come back to obviously none of them having any actual child care qualifications. When I would bring up why she wasn't in her actual age class, they said she wasn't meeting milestones, which is ridiculous because according to her pediatrician she was already past a few 3 year old milestones when she started in Jan 2017 (Birthday is in June). So if milestones really weren't being met and that's the reason why she was still in a 2 year old class, that would mean that Puzzles, instead of pushing her forward in her education and milestones, was actually making her regress from what one can only assume is from their lack of knowledgeable teachers. Staff also makes comments that are BEYOND inappropriate, for example, one of the teachers made a comment about how our child needed to spend more time with mommy and daddy just because her grandparents would have to pick her up SOME days because my boyfriend and I would sometimes have to work late and couldn't make it to Puzzles by 6pm so we would pick her up from her grandparents house once we could get out of work. The office coordinator or whoever she is insinuated that our daughter was mentally abused because one of her many, many, MANY teachers in her 2 year old class (they had no set teacher, each day there were 3 different people than were in there the day before) brought her into the office and my daughter told her that she had been a "bad girl" when I talked to this employee, she accused US of being the ones to put that in her head that she was bad because they "don't use those terms here at Puzzles" even though everyday she was there one of her many teachers sent her to the office because they didn't want to deal with her and in all honestly probably couldn't because they weren't qualified to do so. Also, one employee made a comment "oh my god, she can be sweet" not only in front of my child but in front of her grandparents one day when they came to pick her up. She made this comment all because she ran to them and hugged and kissed them and told them she loved them. Honestly, she was probably just ecstatic to be getting away from the awful staff. The day before we pulled her out, her father picked her up and some random little boy from her class came up to him and said, "she's been a good girl today". So if they aren't using the terms good and bad girl there, how does this random small child know to come up and tell my child's father that she had been good? Also, what are they saying in front of all the other kids for this one to come up and announce that? And lastly, on the day she was being pulled out, her father walked in to one of the floor managers walking our daughter around the floor, and when I say walking, I mean grabbed up by the arm, talking in her face loudly that she needed to be quiet because all the other "good" kids were sleeping. Of course once again, when this was brought up to the office manager, he was basically told it didn't happen. For your child's sake, just don't do it. read more
