We are speechless. PVE has got to be the hardest working crew we have ever worked with. Chi Christine showed up at my last rehearsal without my asking and the whole crew literally worked non stop from morning till night the next day for our wedding. They posted the wedding pictures immediately the next day on Facebook so we could check them out and tag our guests. They got so MANY good angles and captured the most beautiful moments of the day. Hands down to PVE! They were serisouly our eyes and ears. My husband and I planned our own wedding so it was not easy to enjoy our day. We had a very busy wedding schedule and the fact that they followed it to a t was amazing. The way they edited the video makes everything so smooth and really captures our personalities. PVE productions was a great choice when it came to our wedding photos. Many of our guests commented that their team did a wonderful job. They have many packages to choose from and are flexible on customizing them. A cool wedding favor they offered was instant photos (where guests take an entrance photo with the bride and groom and get a copy to take home at the end of the party dinner). I can't say enough how happy I am to have chosen Anh Hoang aka Kevin Nguyen and his team from PVE productions. The groom and I were pretty unorganized and one of the photographers was nice enough to drive us to the reception since we had no car. Too funny. PVE was a joy to work with from the beginning. Jake is great and very accommodating, and the rest of the team was professional and very easy to work with. Needless to say, the bride is the most stressed in the whole "wedding" process from planning to day of. Any part of that load off would be a tremendous help and PVE made the videography part process a breeze. My husband and I met with Jake once, and he knew exactly all the "must haves" for the day of. I got my proofs a few weeks after the wedding, and Jake was very patient and made all the edits I asked for exactly the way I wanted. The final presentation of the DVD was beautiful and I am proud to share it with family and friends. Jake responded quickly and efficiently through e-mails. All of my communications with Jake were done through e-mail and mail since I live St. Louis and the wedding was in Oakland. He worked out a contract that fit my needs and budget. I only needed someone to video record the wedding and no editing needed. So basically just needed raw footages. On the day of the wedding, the videographer was on time and followed the schedule of events (tea ceremony, ceremony, and banquet). I was expecting only one videographer but two videographers came that day. Videos were high quality. The only complaint I have is that there were some missing coverage during the tea ceremony which were very important to me. For example, my mom was saying a sentence and the video was cut off during mid-sentence. I should have communicated with the videographers to just record the videos one straight shot. He only accepts checks or cash. read more

Our wedding was back in April (late review). We are so glad we went with PVE Productions to shoot our wedding video. From the first contact with Jake, everything felt so smooth and easy. Jake explained all the packages and details thoroughly, and would ask us what we wanted and gave his suggestions as well. We never felt pressured to add anything on, and Jake was very professional and helpful. He responds to inquires/questions very quickly. We decided to go with just one cameraman, taking the risk that there would be missing coverage throughout the long day (Tea ceremony, Church, Reception) The day of the wedding, the cameraman came right on time, he introduced himself and stated that he would begin shooting, and will not be in the way. When i think about it, I cannot recall him even being there, because he was doing his thing and did not bother us at all. He was very sweet and professional. I did not expect to see any wedding highlight video, but when I saw that Jake had done a short one, I was so amazed and excited to see the whole video. The music he chose, the way he put the clips together, the video just flowed. We were always in contact, and i was asked to give a list of songs that i wanted to be playing for our main DVD. Before everything was finalized, we were asked to view the video and let PVE know if we needed anything to be removed or edited. I just loved the flow of the entire video and kept everything as it was. it was surprising that everything was captured and we could not be happier with the final product. It has been 2 months since our wedding, and I just got an email from PVE Productions that our wedding video was ready. Back to months ago when I was searching for videographers for my wedding, I ran into quite a few of them. I spent a lot of time watching their previous highlight videos and requested quotes from them. I finally chose PVE Productions because they offered the best value package. Their highlight videos were good, and their pricing was awesome. Having said that, I was still very skeptical about the real outcomes that I would get. Jake was the contact person that I worked with the whole time. He was very friendly. He responded to my emails almost right away or less than one day. He was very accommodating and flexible. You can customize your package however you want it. A week before my wedding, I emailed Jake a long list of what I wanted to have in my video and a very detailed schedules of my wedding with very specific tasks/requests for the videographers. Sending out 10 pages long schedules, I wasn't surprised if they didn't read. But they did email me back with questions regarding things I said on my schedules. And they came well prepared. On the day-of, PVE team 1 with 3 guys arrived earlier than I expected. All three of them were very nice and friendly and very cooperative. They worked very well with my photographers. What I loved about them is that they did not boss me around. I know photographers and videographers sometimes ask you to do certain things, pose certain ways to make the pictures/video better. PVE Productions did suggest us certain poses, but they totally respected us and our schedules. On top of that, the guys were almost always smiling which made everything so much easier. At the reception, we had quite a lot of things going on that the guys didn't have much time to eat. But they were still very happy. It showed me how responsible and professional they were not only in actions but also in attitudes. These guys had awesome attitudes that everybody would appreciate, especially in stressful events. At the end of the night, we (bride and groom) actually jumped into a swimming pool with our tux and dress on. This was part of the plan, and yup, the guys didn't disappoint us. They came well-equipped with underwater cameras to record our memories from many different angles. And at very last, as we said good-bye to them, they were still smiling and happy. A day or 2 after our wedding, we got to see some sneak peek videos and behind-the-scenes. They were very quick. And when they were done with our video, Jake posted different parts of video online for us to review. And we asked him to cut here and edit there. He always responded so fast. And he was happy to edit/change as many times as we want. We feel so blessed to have worked with PVE Productions. Not only they helped us recording our memories with their awesome products but also brought to us such a pleasant time on the very important day of our lives. We cannot thank PVE team enough. I am soo thankful PVE Productions was there to capture our special day! PVE crew is made up of some really awesome people! They were all professional, friendly, fun to work with and great at what they do! I got married on 8-1-15 and I hired PVE to do my photography and videography. I had about 6 of them working on my day. Jake (behind the scene guy) explains the whole process clearly and what each packages entails, and responds quickly to any of my questions. On the day of, the crew showed up in Los Altos on time at 8am. They all worked soo hard to capture all the little details before our ceremony and reception. Afterwards we rushed to my ceremony site at the Japanese Friendship Garden. It was such a hot day and after the vows exchange, I was already tired and ready to take a break. I told PVE crew to stop taking photos and to meet me at the reception area in 3 hours. Christine (1 of the photographer) told me "I know your tired but your not gonna have this moment again. I want to help you remember all of this so you can't be lazy, let's go around the park and take more photos with the bridal party." I am soo glad she told me that, otherwise I would have regret not having precious photos to remind myself of that beautiful day! I appreciate everything PVE team had done for us, they worked really hard to get every aspect of our special day. It was madness like any wedding, I don't even remember seeing them during my reception but they didn't miss a beat of it! Having a wedding in the summer is considered prime season therefore it took a few weeks to receive our highlight and photos, but in the meantime Jake posted some of our wedding photos on his FB page which helped with the anticipation. From 6/15/16 I wrote: Jake and his team are amazing! I searched through the web and viewed many many highlight wedding videos before making a decision of whom I liked to hire. I felt happy that I made the right choice! Image quality, understanding, professionalism, customer services- they have it all. What I love about this team most is that they are understanding and patient. They put lots of effort into fulfilling my requests and cooperated with their scoop of skills and technique to make my requests happen. I noticed some teams have the mentally that they have seen so many beautiful weddings. They tends to silently judge and not take images of certain things in which they think it's not pretty in their eyes. However, it's still your wedding and whether certain things at your wedding aren't as beautiful as other, it's still part of yours special day(you may have paid out of budget for it and would like to have it in memories)- in which ultimately disappointing because it wasn't captured by videographer/photographer. Unlike that, PVE captured every parts that needed to be captured and significantly made up our whole wedding stories. The editing was much more choices for client since they have all parts to play with. Their works are great! Last but not least is their customer services. We were recommended by friends to use PVE for our wedding videography. The team was nice & professional. I appreciated that they arrived early and spent the day with us. My only complaints are the sudden focusing in the video which couldn't be edited out without it looking odd and the non discreetness during the church ceremony. I didn't like that they would stand near the altar in front of guests, that the second camera man would be in our wedding video, or camera men standing in critical areas that conflicted with our photographers pictures. If you're Catholic, make sure you point these items for them. Other than that, they are nice and accommodating. I recommend them if you're looking for basic videography. read more

This is a super late review. It's been a year since our wedding. We know Pve through one of our friends. We exchanged texts and concluded our contract within hours. Their contract is precise and to the point, not hidden fee or extra charge. The best part is you can contact them anytime for any special request you might have. During our wedding day, the cameraman/ woman were very helpful such as helping us with the process and arranging our families and friends. They were very organized and work quickly to avoid delaying our ceremony. For our outdoor shoot, we had both photographers and cameramen work together. They were very polite and respectful to the other team. For our reception, they were incredibly organized and patience. they arrived early to take footage of the restaurant without Guests. They captured some part that we didn't even know exist. They even stayed late because some of us were still drinking. The best part of their work is editing. They showed us the preview, and we loved it. They showed us the whole wedding, we loved it. We did not even have to ask him to fix anything. There are always mistakes at any wedding. My family and I knew our mistakes, but he edited all out. All the awkward moments, distasteful jokes, super bad singers, and lots more mistakes were all edit out. They understand their customers and paid super close attention to little details. They were the only one that didn't cause us headache. We loved their service and would recommend them to anyone. Believe me, anything could go wrong, did go wrong at our wedding. We were super glad that we had a beautiful video to share with our family and friend who could not make it.
