I responded to an advertisement for a free jeep fully aware it must be some scam. I contacted Diego Gonzalez at PYE Honda and he literally said I was weird when I asked how to get the free jeep. Then he told me to worry about myself. So anyway, this place seems pretty shady and unprofessional from my interaction. I went to this dealership and had a horrible experience. They tried to increase the price on a 2024 Honda accord sport at $39,000 but had it listed at $34,000. The only dealership that still has 2024's on their lot and I see why. They wanted to argue and were very rude and aggressive. They kept asking me why I didn't go to economy Honda like they didn't want my business so yep I went to economy Honda and walked out with a 2025 Honda accord hybrid sport please do not shop here go to economy Honda they are nice and professional and they will talk you through the process to get you the best deal. read more

I would give them 3.5 stars if I could. Our experience was in between ok and good. Reason why it was okay: - The sales guy was new and you could tell. He gave us some misinformation and needed to call on his co-workers for help multiple times. - The car we bought had an issue with the entertainment system and their tech guy had already left and we had to bring it back the next day to fix it. Reasons why it was good: - We definitely got more attention from these guys then we did at previous places we've bought cars from. - They gave us a discount just for driving down. - They were able to get us the monthly payment we could afford. - They didn't push us hard on buying all the extras. - When we were misquoted on the tow package and cross bars, they honored the price they gave us. Overall, I did appreciated working with the employees at Pye Honda. Because they are a smaller dealership, sometimes they have inventory that the bigger dealers don't have. It's worth looking at their inventory and its worth the drive if they have want you want. read more

My wife & I were driving through Georgia heading north when we got a flat tire. I was able to put on the spare but it was nighttime so we couldn't get it fixed immediately. The next morning we drove to Dalton and showed up at Pye Honda first thing in the morning without an appointment. They were able to fix a small brake problem but did not have the right replacement tire in stock. So they called a tire store down the street to take care of us. On Saturday November 13, 2021 I called Pye Honda in to get service on my Honda because I had hit a dead animal in the road and tore my engine splash guard. I was told that because I did not buy the Honda from Pye Honda they could not do any service for me until 2 months later. I was very disappointed. I didn't realize when I bought my Honda that I could not use any Honda service center. The only reason I called Pye Honda was because they was the closest one to me as I was traveling on the interstate. I am very disappointed in Honda. Y'all really let me down. read more

What a pitiful place to do business with. Absolutely pitiful. And I've bought four cars there before. First, I hate buying cars. Hate it, hate it, hate it and they made it even worse than I can image. Always wanting to know "what are you willing to spend". What a stupid question. "No more than I have to" and "I'll let you know when your price meets my expectations" were may answers.....pissed them off, I think. I was handed off, handed off, and then handed off. Offered a high price, then given a jotted down bottom line price, which I said I'd think about, and left. Pissed them off, I'm sure. After more shopping for 36 hours on the internet in Chattanooga, Cartersville, and Savannah, I was a broken man and called them up and said that'd I'd take the jotted down price. Nope....that was a one time offer. Bull crap! If good once, good always. Don't waste your time with these awful people. I felt dirty when I left.....just nasty dirty. Did I mention I hate buying cars. Well, I do, and I'll never enter their dealership again. Honda makes a good product, it's a shame this dealership, which was good.... I bought four cars from there....is in the ditch now. I ended up buying a car all the way in Savannah GA. They kept telling me that the model/trim package I wanted was "hard to find". Chattanooga had 4, Cartersville 2, and both dealerships in Savannah had 5. That's 16 by my count. What a bunch of pitiful salesmen. Very dissatisfied with the service department. I purchased a Honda Civic 2023 back in March of 2023. The night that I purchased the vehicle it only had 6 miles on it. I was told to bring it in 2 days later for them to detail it and take all the tags and stickers off. I drove it off the lot called the salesman the next day to let him know that a total collision control light kept popping on. He told me when they did the detailing he would take a look at it and see what was causing it to come on. I was told at that point that it was just a bug smacking the windshield causing it to trigger. Brought it down there multiple times after that because the issue kept going on and could never get there issue resolved. So when I take it in because it was still under warranty at 34,000 miles I was told by the service manager that he was terribly sorry how I was treated and that no issues were being taken care of and how he was upset for the fact that there was six ro's on my car and no paper trail for that. So at that time we discussed every bit of what was going on with my car at that time. Come to find out the camera was faulty and was replaced and fixed.. I also was having issues with the window on the passenger side in the back not rolling down come to find out the window switch was faulty and they had to replace that. Also at that time I was having an issue with my steering rack and a buzzing noise. Talking to the service manager would tell me one thing talking to the technician would tell me another thing. So my boss contacted the owner to see if she could help me get to the bottom and get my car fixed. I was told that day when I went back down there that the owner made the statement that that better not ever happen again. Then I was told that the issues would be handled and everything would be fixed January of 2024 I was told my steering rack would be ordered and they would have to order a certain tool to try to track down the buzzing noise because they were placed a door actuator that Honda told him to replace and it did not fix it. I text the technician several times to find out if my part had came in by that date told me he had no status of it. Had to go back in on February 2024 to find out what the status was with the part that was supposed to be ordered. I was then told the part was never ordered due to they had to get approval because they had switched customer service reps. Finally after being upset and saying that I may have to find legal advice to find out how to get my car fixed. I was contacted by the technician telling me that they finally ordered the part and sent me a confirmation that it should be there on March 31st.At this point I had to contact Honda relations to try to help get the issues resolved because there was so much back and forth between the service manager and the technician and the level of disrespectfulness there. I took the car in on April 8th 2024 to have the steering rack replaced the buzzing noise fix that was wrote up on a or under my warranty. I got a phone call from their service advisor telling me my car was ready for pickup. I asked him if everything had been fixed and corrected and was told he believed so that's what he was told. I asked again if the buzzing noise was fixed if they had to order parts and he proceeded to say to me what do you want me to do for you what do you want me to do for you hold on here's the service manager let me put you on speaker phone. Service manager got on the phone said the car was fixed when I asked again what they had to do to fix the buzzing noise he told me that the tech could not find it couldn't hear it that the car was good to go and when I asked for that to be documented he proceeded to raise his voice and tell me that technically he didn't have to fix a damn thing on my car that when I took it upon myself to have my boss reach out to help get my car fixed that he was told by his manager which is the owner that not to touch my car that they did not want to fix my car but he did against his boss's wishes anyways. Just be lucky that he even fixed the steering rack because he really didn't have to even though when I brought it to them it was under warranty. The buzzing noise never got fixed and pretty much I was told I was being punished because I started a case through honda. read more

My Wife and I took her new Honda Passport for it's first oil change. We assumed it would be free. It was $65. My wife's Toyota came with free oil changes for "X" amount of miles. I understand completely that you shouldn't just assume to get great service on every new vehicle you get. But I don't need a smart mouth service counter guy telling my wife:"May you should have asked before you bought the car!" The $65 fee didn't make me nearly upset as his mouth. Took my 2022 Honda HRV in for its first oil change and tire rotation. Was charged 121.00 for the service that took 20 minutes tops, 67.50 was labor charges. Totally ridiculous and over priced. Counter man had a terrible attitude. Had to turn around and go back because they forgot to calibrate my tire pressure after rotating them. I will NOT be taking my business back there EVER! I previously owned a Toyota Camry and have never had to pay that much for an oil change and always got great service. I've tried buying parts here a couple of times. Prices are absolutely criminal. A quart of tranny fluid is over $12. Same OEM fluid on Amazon is available for $6. Just tried to buy a $0.50 aluminum washer for the drain plug. They wanted more than $5 !!! If they want to rape you on small parts and fluids, Can you imagine what they would do on a routine service or major repair ??? This is nothing but a DEN OF THIEVES. Tried to explain this to a manager and he threw me out of his office. I would absolutely AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST !!! It's not the reputable place that it once was under Johnny Pye. He would be ashamed and disgusted to see his name on the building today. ... checked the price of the same washer at Economy Honda in Chattanooga and it was $3.44. But I didn't want to drive that far for just one washer. So I stopped by LA TransmIssion just down the street. Never been there before but thought it was worth a try. They had one in stock and gave it to me at no charge! They seem like good people and certainly understand customer service better than the management at Pye Honda. My parents have bought four cars from Pye and when my aunt died they would buy the car back as promised. Only 6,000 miles on the car and they would not pay off the balance! 9,000 is not a lot on this car that's in new factory condition! They offered 6,000 dollars leaving them owing 3,000. Just want to add because I was looking at a KIA, that this was at the used lot, not the Honda side of the road, but across, as far as I know, they are all under the same name and ownership. Manager held my car keys ransom. I refused to buy due to the kiting of the price, the addition of 750 for fees, and 50 for a bank transaction. They took the asking price, and elevated it thousands to a final number. I walked, but he had my keys, and the interrogative ensued. I ONLY wanted a price, not a credit ap that they took, not a pre-sale, and did not want the argument in the parking lot, just wanted my keys. Manager kept interrupting me inserting the word Ad Valorem into my sentences, raising his voice, angering me after a while and a shouting match ensued. He then raised his hand about a foot away from my face, as if he could easily slap me, and I demanded my keys and was fishing in my pocket for my phone to call the police, when he finally went to his office to retrieve my keys. I have never seen such an idiot in charge of something. I used to work in the car business, even sold the old man Pye a Cadillac once, and the ownership was fairly nice people. Appears who ever is running the business now is concerned about income first. We went down the road, bought a car completely hassle free at numbers we liked. It was too easy. For weeks afterward, we got mailings from credit companies regarding the Pye credit ap, that was completely annoying and about the same time we got a ton of weird companies mailing us with some gimmick that appeared to be some official something, unsure if it was related to running the credit ap or not. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Absolutely horrible experience with the financial managers Mark Mooney and Chris (the chris guy has since been terminated because of my experience) and the owner Sean Pye. Backwards and slimy are the two words that come to mind when describing these men. I traded in my Hyundai Elantra for a CR-V hybrid about 2 weeks ago now, everything was going great going smooth. My salesman was absolutely wonderful (Paul Johnson--wish that man nothing but the best and i am so sorry he has to work for such a joke of a dealership) We were getting everything settled at the price that I wanted. Chris and Mark were both present at this time, and chris was going over everything that was included with my car (gap insurance, 6 yr/100,000 mile warranty, the discounts that were provided, my trade value, etc.) Chris was a complete asswipe from the beginning, extremely rude to my mom and I, but I didn't say anything because that's just how some people are. After going through everything thoroughly, (especially making sure GAP INSURANCE was on there) Chris had me sign the papers, and took everything to the back. The owner, Sean Pye then came out to meet me, as it was after hours that I was there and probably was trying to hurry me out the door. He asked me general questions like what car, why this car blah blah, and then said "let me go back here with Chris and see what I can do for you" Upon coming back out they gave me the keys my mom and i switched all my items over everyone was happy. You'd think that'd be the end right? Wrong. The next day my mom was looking at my paperwork and said where is your gap insurance and your warranty listed on here cause I don't see it, I said well it should be on there cause we made sure to ask about it being on there and Chris, Mark, and Sean said it was and led me to believe it was. I had to go back up there that Monday cause my car hadn't been detailed since I purchased it so late on Saturday, so I said I'd ask about it. Went up there and asked why my insurance and warranty were removed after I was told they were included and Chris and Mark both said to me, "well we couldn't get it at the price you were wanting with all of that included so you either want the price you got it at or we have to increase it". Absolute bullshit. Instead of being men and telling me upfront on the night of the sale that it wouldn't be possible so I could walk and find what I truly wanted and a different dealership, they had me fully convinced that what I wanted was on there and then changed it all after I signed the papers. (Another side note: Sean Pye is now wanting to whine and say he spoke to me about it on that Monday I came up there, he absolutely did not. I saw him in the parking lot that morning, and he said hi to me and that was the only interaction I had with him that day) Fast forward to today, my parents went up there today (I work a full time retail job and couldn't get today off or I would've gone as well) to try to get this situation corrected and see if Pye would pay for my warranty since it was their screw up and things got pretty heated after my mom called chris (the guy who had already been terminated at this point) an asshole to the owners face and the owner came back and said y'all have been nothing but disrespectful this entire time (which they hadn't, despite how angry they were my parents never show themselves in public areas unless they absolutely have to) and Sean threatened to call the cops if they didn't leave the property. (probably because he is also not a man, and can't give any straight answers to anyones face so he uses his power of authority and the cops to hide behind) So there is no resolution to this story. nothing has been settled, nothing taken care of. As a paying customer to this dealership i feel taken advantage of, cheated out of a deal and lied to. I'm here to say if you are in the market for a car, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We had engine problems on the to Florida from Ohio. We stopped at Pye Honda to get it checked out. They got us in, discovered the problem and then informed us about a service bulletin on the car. Our problem was under warranty. They fixed the problem and 3 factory recalls in 90 minutes and got us on the road. J.W. Hopper and Jane white were amazing to work with. Anyone that lives in the Dalton, GA area needs to check them out!!!! read more

Recently took my 2017 honda accord I'n for an oill change at the dealership in dalton I had to call 3 ,times to set an app up I didn't get any answer except for operator the first time so I assumed maybe they were out to lunch the second time I left a message but no one called me back the next time I did manage to set up an appt I told lthemb I w need oil change and tire rotation when I took the car I'm I told them again oil change and tire rotation I was there from 1:45 till about 345 although there was only one other lady in there and she was really upset also when they brought the car to it they had not done the tire rotation schedule I had to wait longer for that and by this time I let them know I was really upset but they didn't seem to care they didn't charge me for the he rotation but by then I didn't really care I am not sure if they did the rotation of they did it didn't take long read more

I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership again! It is their Service Dept. that sucks! I have a 2016 Honda CRV that has low mileage. The other day it would not crank, just clicking noises and of course it is push button, no key start. My husband boosted it off and it cranked. I took it to a local auto place and they checked the battery to see if it was good. Nope, not good. I called (Pye Honda) service dept to see if it was under warranty and the guy acted like he didn't even want to talk to me and asked how many miles and how many months had I had it. Well I told him don't you have that info since I bought it there new and he told me yep it's under warranty with what you told me. He would not even look it up. He told me I would have to bring it in and they would have to prove it was bad before they would do anything like I was trying to cheat them or something. This morning I called Economy Honda in Chattanooga and the guy said oh, let me look that up for you! Wow, I didn't even have to ask. He said it was under warranty and to bring it in anytime and they would check it. So nice and polite! I wouldn't even give this (Pye) Honda Service dept. 1 star. I tried to take it off but it wouldn't let me! It's not the 1st time I have had a problem with the Dalton, Ga bunch. Last time I made a report to the BBB and Pye Honda in Dalton took care of the problem, but only after I made a complaint! read more

Pye Honda in Dalton will be where our family goes in the future should we purchase again. I have purchased years ago from another Honda dealership and to maintain manners I wont mention where ,but I want to say that particular location (now) is NOTHING in comparison to Daltons Pye Honda ! Pye will work with you , and in a streamline, no stress way. Service dept. people are excellent as well. (I had to have another matching tire , as I had ran over a nail a few days after my purchase) and my car went in and out in a matter of minutes. Interior seat of car did not get soiled or anything.
