Came in for 25k prepaid service & had a tire puncture 2 days prior that I temporarily fixed with a can of run flat. I told the service guy & manager about it & they said run flat damages the tire making repairs impossible. They refused to even remove the tire & inspect it. They didn't even have the off-road tires to try & upsell me, but just said it was unfixable. The service manager told me he is a "tire guy" & this was an impossible repair. Also, the prepaid service, this time, didn't include an oil change. So I paid extra for the oil change so I wouldn't go 10k miles between services. GM wasn't there, but the useless sales manager was no help, so I took it to Arevalo's Tires who easily fixed it. NGA Toyota has a slew of employees wandering around the showroom doing nothing for the 2 1/2 hours I was waiting around. Looked more like a welfare office than a viable business. I won't be returning. You should avoid it as well. read more

Well I bought a 2015 Venza a year ago and the day after I had car , the steering wheel shakes so bad when braking . Dealership had to have known this issue. Just amazes me a $6 rubber part couldn't have been taken care of in order to sell someone a good quality car before leaving the lot . It just makes me wonder how often this is done . So $6 part has cost them a repeat customer. So just so aggravated at the careless attitude to have a happy customer . read more

I was in the market for a new car after my Toyota Sequoia died after 19 years. I wanted another Toyota based on my experience with my Sequoia. I went to North Georgia Toyota and picked out a new 4Runner. I had a budget for an out the door price. I gave them my target price and they came in $1200 over my price. I sat down to negotiate with them thinking we were close to a deal. I asked them to come off $1200. The sale rep passed me off to the sales manager. The sales manager arrogantly leaned back in his chair and refused saying (and I quote) "Why would I do that? If you don't pay me what I am asking then the next guy through the door will. Take it or leave it." I didn't say a word, got up out of my seat and walked out the door. I went down to street to the Jeep dealership and promptly got $12,000 off a new (and nicer) Grand Cherokee Limited. The sticker price on the Jeep was $8000 m than the Toyota but I got it under my budget. The funny thing is a month later the 4Runner is still sitting on their lot so I guess "the next guy through the door" didn't give the their asking price either. Worst dealer experience I've ever had. I only give them 2* because I had great experiences with their parts and service departments. read more

I don't know how many cars I have bought from North Georgia Toyota. I'm guessing 10 or more. The first was in the late 90's and the last was this past February. I'm an older guy and will probably only buy one more since I don't drive a lot anymore. in February I bought a new Highlander Hybrid. it didn't have leather so we did a $4900 leather and heated seat aftermarket upgrade. we weren't in a hurry but they wanted our trade-in so we made the deal and left. What we didn't find out un the next day was the car didn't have a navigation system. you have to use a cell phone to do anything with the system. the screen looks like a navigation screen but it isn't. It has bee a major issue for my wife and pairing our individual phones each time we drive this car. I give one star for their new system and I give a thumbs down for our sales team not us know what we were getting. Now the fob. We were supposed to get two fobs. after all paperwork was signed, we were handed one fob and told it would be about 2 months before we would get the second. We have checked back and back and was told that we would receive a letter about the second fob by the end of June. The end of June came and we were told to call Toyota. We called Toyota and the told us we should receive a letter by the end of Summer. I told them the end of June is pretty definitive, but what does the end of summer mean? the nice lady said probably September 22 or so. When North Georgia Toyota says " Oh yes we can", I am tempted to reply " Oh no you can't " read more

We were driving from Minnesota to Florida in our new Toyota Siena and started getting error messages after we passed through Chattanooga. We decided to stop for lunch In Dalton Georgia. The car wouldn't start after lunch. Luckily we were only two miles from North Georgia Toyota. We had the car towed there and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They took the car in soon after we arrived. The owner came and reassured us that they would find the problem and hopefully could fix it this afternoon. It turned out that the after market trailer hitch wiring had caused a short in the car's lighting system. We were on our way two hours later with a bag of popcorn for us and one for our two dogs! read more

Excellent experience - went above and beyond for a stranded Toyota driver from out-of-town. Passing through Dalton on I-75, filled up tank at a local gas station, then car (2005 Sienna) would not start. Had it towed (after hours) to North Georgia Toyota and stayed in a local motel. Next morning they took care of me - needed a new starter installed - out the door by 10:45am and on my way. Actions speak louder than words. Wish they were my local Toyota dealer. read more

This was my first time visiting this dealership for service, I got major maintenance on my 2016 tundra that I purchased with over 100k miles on it recently. Everything from a transmission fluid service to spark plug service. They were so nice here and were great to deal with. I'm from south Florida and I'm not used to the dealerships being so friendly, this dealership is honestly and sincerely friendly when you head there for service. They have Internet, bottled water, a keurig for coffee with pods and Little Debby snacks for waiting customers, with a waiting area with plenty of comfortable seating and cable television. I had some work to do for my job and I brought my iPad to do it, they offered me a cubicle to get it done in comfort and privacy, it was great. Afterwards I streamed my amazon prime tv on my iPad with the free WiFi. They even kept offering to drive me to pickup lunch since I was having so many services performed and was there for several hours, I've never had such a great experience at a dealership. I'm a former dealership consultant and I was highly impressed by this dealership. I would 100% recommend them and I will be back. Thank you read more
