We love coming here because we just walk down the hill. Sunday mornings are our favorite time to come for the $2 mimosas and breakfast. Although we have been here for lunch, dinner and happy hour also! There is a half off menu items on Tuesdays for seniors. We enjoy the food, service and the view. It is gorgeous here.

On 8/16/19, I had the mushroom Swiss burger. It was really good, but what I was impressed with were the fries that came with it. They were seasoned perfectly. My complements to the chef. Had the mushroom Swiss burger again on 10/23/19. Love those fries! See photo. Also attached is photo of fish and chips with tartar sauce and Cole slaw.

I first learned about them after a Yelp Elite Event, so I decided to check them out again. We came out after some Christmas shopping, so it was already pretty dark by then. Being on a golf course, it looks very nice on a sunny day. There's a lot to choose from, I personally ordered the Rib-eye steak with a double side of mashed potatoes. Our group started with an order of Fried Calamari, while our orders were prepared. It started out very good, until I had an alarming bite into a small slice of fried lemon, twice. That was very off putting, not sure why those were included. Our main dishes came out in a timely manner, right when we were finishing the appetizer. I have to say, the Rib-eye was probably one of the best steaks I've had in a while. Something about the way it was seasoned, it was exceptional, especially for the $25 price tag. The thing that brought down the dish for me though was the garlic mash. It tasted very salty. Some parts of the food were good, it is a little pricey. Check it out, but there's a lot to work on.

Came here for dinner with the family. It was dark outside so we could not enjoy the view but I could see how amazing it would be for lunch or one of those late summer nights. Service was great and the atmosphere was lively. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back for lunch to enjoy the view and the food

I was in the area looking at a home to possibly purchase and came across this restaurant. This place was wonderful. I had the omelet and it was fantastic. We also decided to get some mimosas, and they were only $2! What a steal! Beautiful views of the golf course with great food. I highly recommend this place!

Craft cocktails are all they do and they're really good at it. Take a look at part of the menu Iposted in the pictures. This is a great place to come and have a cocktail or two before or after dinner. Come see for yourself as you won't be disappointed. Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This place doesn't have the best hours but I'm sure there is a reason for these hours-M-F the hours are 5p-10p and on weekends they open at 12p... In closing-If you ever find yourself in the Rocklin area and you get a yearning to try out your pinball machine skills-I couldn't recommend this spot any higher as they are a very unique spot offering a truly awesome experience-a trip down memory lane for some and a whole new world for the younger generation-You should get out there and have some fun. PS-I failed to mention this place is very family friendly-on my particular visit the place was flooded with kids from elementary to high school age honing their pinball machine skills and enjoying every minute of it.

Games are very clean and in excellent playing condition. There's also Stern leaderboards visible along with their own leaderboards for solid state (older) games, which I've never seen anywhere else. The whole space is clean and welcoming. It's loud, but that's because it's a pinball spot. The staff are super friendly and provide great service. The mac n' cheese bites I had last week were freshly prepared (from scratch), cooked to order, piping hot, and totally delicious--and also under $10. The beers and ciders on tap are all mostly from small, local makers and under $10/pint. They also have plenty of NA drink options. If you're a pinball person, I dare you to find a more accommodating spot for playing and vibing out. If you're not a pinball person, this is a great place to fall in love with the game.

My first call went unanswered, and there wasn't an answering service. On my second call, I was able to leave a voicemail. When I called Pain Killers, a kind woman answered within two rings. I explained that I was looking for a venue to host a memorial gathering. She let me know that the person who could best assist me wasn't available but offered to take my number and have them return my call. Within 30 minutes, Austin called me back. We discussed what we were looking for, and as you can imagine, it's not an easy conversation to have with someone you've never met. From the very beginning, Austin's kindness and compassion stood out. His exact words were, "We want to be here for you during this difficult time." Those weren't just words--I could genuinely feel his sincerity, not only during that phone call but in every text message we exchanged over the following week. Each time I reached out, I'd say, "Ok, Austin, last question," only to think of another one shortly afterward. No matter how many times I contacted him, he remained patient, understanding, and accommodating. He answered every question, responded promptly, and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. In the end, it was decided to keep the entire day's gathering at a church rather than the mortuary, so we didn't end up going to Pain Killers. Even so, I wanted to recognize Austin for the exceptional level of customer service and genuine compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times. The next time I'm in the Rocklin area, I plan to stop by, say hello to Austin, and make sure to give Pain Killers some well-deserved business. Thank you, Austin, for reminding me that kindness and empathy still go a long way.
