Always enjoy the service we get at Pyramid. They're one of the more affordable options and the employees are great. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but you can't predict animal emergencies so that just comes with the territory.

Lil Major peeking at the other pets

Today was a big day for Major. He got his shots, nail trim, glands and a great check up by the incomparable Doc Williams. Doctor Williams and his Wonderful nurse, Jilian made for a great experience not just for us caring parents, but for our nervous lil boy, Major. They were both So Kind, So Caring. He left there feeling 10 feet tall. We have finally found our little boy a Great Veterinary Center. Thanks again excellent team at Pyramid Veterinary Clinic. Thank You for making this a terrific day.

Pyramid Vet Hospital is great!! They were incredibly helpful when I first brought my puppy in and were able to give some tips and tricks via phone one day when I called up dealing with my puppy's separation anxiety & kenneling issues. Fast-forward a few months & I just got her spayed and they followed up to see how she was doing and asked if there was any questions we had about post-op with her. They really do care about your pet. Thanks for all you do PVH! P.S. - Sadie and I will be really excited for when the 2 weeks is up and she can take off the "cone of shame". ha!

What a great place. Wow. I switched vet clinics so I could get closer to where I live now, they were so nice the minute I walked in and said hello and they all were chatting with my little dog Pippy. They were very thorough and took the time to look through her records and made sure to give her the right Shots. They even clipped her toe nails for me. Now that's awesome. Super cool. Loved it. I'm so happy to have found this place. very caring place to take your pet. http://pvhcares.com

Just wanted to update our family of Pekingese since my review. LaiYi was euthanized and we added a new member to the family. ShaoYi. He's pure-bred and AKC registered. Sire: CH PE YNE'S EDGE OF GLORY (a BEST OF SHOW) Dam: PEVYNE'S REFLECTIONS OF SUNDAE (Where he gets his red coat from) ShaoYi was part of 3 litter pups, on July 30, 2020. He's gorgeous and always playing...we love him dearly

Our dogs love Dr. Lopez. We recently had both of our puppies neutered and spayed. Dr Lopez did both surgeries. He has a great bedside manner and is professional and kind.

Our dog was misdiagnosed, but we're not gonna talk about them. I want to say we were referred to Desert Hills by several people, including some of our friends I checked out the reviews and they normally average a five star review. They did not disappoint. We had an appointment today for our sick puppy. Who's been sick now about 15 days. We were greeted by Trinity the doctors, assistant, amazing and caring, compassionate. Then the doctor came in they worked with dodger took her temperature. Did some other test. Dr. Murray was so thorough so caring and compassionate as well. She gave us some options. They did a panel which we should get back in a few days she most likely has pneumonia. She's now on meds everything about Desert Hills was above and beyond the care from everyone the cleanliness the friendliness we are so happy we have found them and we are so thankful that we now have a new veterinarian. We highly recommend them thank you so much. We feel so much better because of you.

For a long time I truly loved this clinic. The staff used to feel very welcoming, attentive, and personal, and you genuinely felt cared for when you walked in. I'm really sad to write this review because I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after giving the clinic several chances I felt it was important to share my experience. The clinic seems much busier now, and while I understand that is a sign of a successful business and I support that, it has started to feel like they may be taking on more than they can handle, and that change is noticeable in the overall clinic experience. Most recently I called because my dog's paw was swollen. Since there were no appointments available, I was told I could drop her off in the morning and they would try to fit her in. I waited about 2.5 hours for a call back and received very little guidance beyond confirming that her paw was swollen. The conversation quickly shifted to recommending x rays on both paws along with other items like vaccines and tests that didn't seem directly related to the reason I brought her in. I also asked about switching her dog food due to past urinary issues and never received clear guidance on that. It left me feeling like the focus was more on adding charges rather than helping me understand what was best for my dog, and this has been my experience the past 3-4 visits. This clinic used to be a place I trusted deeply, which is why this is so disappointing. I'm only sharing this in hopes that the team might bring back some of the personal care and attention that once made this place feel so special.

    - A Practice in Decline…read more I want to be upfront: I previously gave Sage Veterinary Care 5 stars, and that rating reflected a genuinely excellent practice. This review reflects an entirely different experience under their current operation. My family has two golden retrievers -- Koda (1.5 years) and Howie (6.5 years) -- and we have experienced repeated scheduling failures over the past several months, including confirmed appointments being rejected after the fact. Today was the final straw. I drove to the clinic, brought my dog in for pre-operative blood work ahead of a scheduled neutering next week, waited while they took him back -- and then was told in person that they don't have enough staff scheduled for his surgery date. No phone call. No message. No heads up of any kind. Just: come in, wait, and oh by the way, we don't know when we can reschedule you. That is completely unacceptable. This information was known before my appointment. A 30-second phone call would have saved the trip, the wait, and the stress on my dog. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on us to show up and find out in person. This is a pattern with this practice since their previous veterinarians left. We have been rejected for scheduled appointments multiple times across both dogs. The communication failures are consistent and the operational instability is real. We are done. Both dogs are moving to a new provider effective today. I genuinely hope they can turn things around, but I cannot in good conscience recommend Sage Veterinary Care in their current state and for the safety of our dogs.

I got a referral from my neighbor (also the vet here) for APC. Easy parking lot in and out, the lobby is huge so that pets aren't in close quarters. This is a pretty big facility and very clean and loved the art. We were the last appointment of the day, so it was empty. The front desk people looked like they'd had a long day, and I was put in a room almost immediately. Jordan was the tech and he brought the holy grail into the room for my Maisy (a ball). It still took her a minute to relax, but he didn't rush her, and threw the ball, which she loved. He was able to do what he needed to and Dr. Sarah was right in. Maisy knows her, and loves her. The sigh of relief for everyone was wonderful. Maisy got some meds for her eyes, and nails trimmed (a first) and we both left feeling great. Dr. Sarah is so caring, and competent. She's someone I would (and do) trust the life of my best friend with.

I was so overwhelmed with grief that I couldn't even get him out of my car. Without hesitation, a staff member came outside, gently took him from my vehicle, and handled him with so much dignity and care. That simple act of kindness meant more to me than words can express. The entire process was made as easy as possible during such a heartbreaking time. I chose a private cremation, and when I received his ashes, they included a beautiful paw print, a certificate of cremation and his ashes in a wooden urn. He was stumbling a lot more than usual and having trouble breathing. I called this emergency vet and let them know our situation and that we were on our way. There were a lot of people in the waiting room when we arrived. I was afraid we would have to wait while my little guy was struggling to breath and possibly in pain. However, they quickly led us into a room and took my dog into the back right away. They gave him something to help with pain and ease his breathing. They wrapped him in a soft blanket and gave him back to us. They told us we can have all the time we needed with him and to let them know when we are ready for the veterinarian to come in. We were given medication and an Elizabethan collar and discharged. At a follow-up appointment with our primary veterinarian on Wednesday, it was discovered that a sizeable piece of debris had been left in her eye. The cornea had actually begun healing over the foreign body because it was not removed during the initial visit. As a result, our veterinarian had to re-open the wound in order to remove the debris, essentially restarting the healing process. This oversight is extremely concerning, as it delayed proper healing and could have led to much more serious complications, including potential vision loss. When we called to address the situation, the receptionist was very apologetic and assured us a message would be passed along for the veterinarian to return our call. Unfortunately, we never received a follow-up. While we understand and expect higher fees for emergency care, we do not expect critical aspects of treatment to be missed. We are grateful our primary veterinarian caught and corrected the issue, but we are very disappointed in the level of care provided during the initial visit.
