The burger was ok, But they can't compete with corner seafood and wings.

We eat here about once a month, and I make it a personal mission to try something new every time…read more The menu looks like it's been updated recently, which keeps things interesting. The food is always fresh and flavorful, definitely a win. The restaurant is consistently clean, and we're usually seated quickly (which already earns bonus points in my book). Portion sizes are just right, we leave full but still manage to have a few bites left for a late-night snack. The beer selection is always rotating, so it's fun to switch things up and try a new brew now and then. My only suggestion? Ice those glasses! Draft beer is great, but an ice-cold one? That's next-level. Service is solid, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. And if you're going, get the tacos and fried green beans They never miss.

The place is comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are spotless! The service was friendly and fast!…read moreThe hamburger was good...nothing exciting! The patty looked like a frozen patty and I prefer a homemade burger! The pork panini was ok. My husband prefers them with bbq sauce but that's just personal preference. I think this place would be great to watch a game and grab a beer! The fried green beans had more batter than bean but the fried eggplant was awesome!! Loved that the peeling was removed before frying so no bitter taste! Yes, I recommend this place!

Who Put My Catfish in Witness Protection?…read more This place used to be one of my favorite spots in Broussard. Great atmosphere, great service, and my family ate here so often they should have considered putting our name on a booth. Unfortunately, the menu changes have turned this into a completely different experience. Let's start with the catfish. Somewhere between the old menu and the new one, the catfish fillets entered witness protection. What arrived on my plate looked less like catfish and more like a collection of heavily breaded suggestions of catfish. I've seen french fries wider than these strips. If there was actual fish inside, it was hiding better than Bigfoot. The spicy shrimp wrap also appears to have retired from the spice business. It now contains enough pepper jelly to qualify as a dessert, and so much of it that the wrap becomes a soggy engineering failure halfway through eating it. Then there are the onion rings. Calling them onion rings feels generous. They looked like someone lost a ring toss tournament and served the equipment. The frustrating part is that I genuinely loved this place. I live nearby and used to come here regularly. I even tried reaching out through the website before posting this review and never received a response. I hate leaving negative reviews, but somebody needs to stage an intervention for that catfish. This is Acadiana. We have standards. And right now, that catfish is filing a formal complaint against whoever approved it.
