    3 tacos special
    Christopher R.

I was on a work trip and was looking for a place to eat. I found out about this place on yelp. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by staff. It was taco Tuesday and I decided to order tacos. I had two chicken tacos and carne asada taco. The tacos had cilantro, onion, avocado and salsa. The tacos were delicious. The ambiance was customer friendly. The dj was playing some great music.

The food was pretty good for a bar. Our waitress was fun and engaged with us and our fun. The place got a face-lift, and the Qclub looked GREAT!!! Great place to hang out. Ambiance was much better!

SERVICE: Fella's at the front door were fine. It's 21+ so bring your ID of course. Our waitress (no clue of her name) was super cool and helpful. White female with tats, I think shaved side, and about 5'7...if this helps. Either way, again, very attentive. She brought me a box for my food, kept checking in, just good service. ENTERTAINMENT: It's a bar that has been remodeled. I never seen it in the past as this was my first time at Q Club. What I hear is that it's better because the bar is now accessible all the way around. There are tons of tv's all along the walls (no volume). There too is a good DJ jamming away. I do appreciate their range of music from hiphop, reggie, etc. to satisfy the varied crowd. However, it sucked after a while because I don't like that much reggie LOL. So I sat and waited for the next genre to roll through. All good, personal problem. Oh, there was a jinga game set up on a table, if you care. VENUE: Like I said, it's a bar. Not upscale nor below, but right in the middle. I appreciate the enclosed, outdoor space located in the back. Though built for smokers, it's still nice to have a spot to run off too if you need some air, private conversation, etc. Place could use some new chairs, etc. but hey, one thing at a time right. Can't fault them for those little things. Hope they gather enough funding to complete additional repairs. I was actually surprised with how clean the bathroom was, I mean, for it being a bar. I was shocked! Parking is free and in a small/moderate size lot. Not sure what we would do if the spot were packed. Overall, this is a cool spot to hang out at after hours. Note, we arrived around 9pm on a Saturday. Crowd seemed cool and respectable to each group in the space. Oh, and I appreciated the variety of ages 30-70! FOOD: It was ok tasting - not horrible, not amazing, just fine. We had coconut shrimp and regular fried shrimp with fries. Margarita's were basic bar drinks so nothing special about them. The entire bill was about $60 (food + 3 drinks). WELL: I will definitely return. I hear they have karaoke on Mondays. Maybe I'll see ya'll there.

Great service, great food, great drinks, better ppl! Celebrated my birthday and QClub was an experience!

Great service from when we walked in. Came to celebrate my birthday so we came to this spot because of the big space, music, drink, and food. It did not disappoint great spot for big groups, bomb food, and the DJ was great!

Overall not bad, the service was good parking was not an issue and it appears to to have the potential to be a fun spot. I went to shoot some pool and we did not have a problem getting a table. The price seems reasonable I really don't know given I have not paid to shoot pool in a while. The people seemed nice and there were a lot of people hanging out. I would not say this is a spot for eye candy but there were plenty of local women. Yes I would recommend for some pool and beverages. I do plan on visiting again when in town.

Sooo i wrote a review 3 months ago when you actually were NOT allowed to seat yourself and this jackass told me im irresponsible and lacking knowledge for calling them out on the obvious case of racism. I fully understand covid protocol as I do have a job lol. There were PLENTY of available tables at a safe distance we were SEGREGATED. Maybe talk to your female employee that seated us rather than coming at me with "lack of proper evidence" definitely spreading the word now buddy lol good going.

Fun atmosphere, the staff is cautious about COVID-19. Outside seating available, good music and DELICIOUS food. Here are some photos of what I ordered.

If you're going to hang your hat on the speakeasy aesthetic--dim lights, hushed tones, whispers of…read moreexclusivity--then understand this: you're entering into an unspoken pact with your patrons. We expect a certain standard, a level of care that borders on obsession. So when I catch Evan Williams--respectable, questionable, but barely twelve bucks a bottle--making an appearance behind the bar, it feels like a breach of trust. A quiet betrayal under low lighting. The illusion only works if the details hold up under scrutiny... and that pour? It broke the spell. And then comes the real offense: discovering that your Old Fashioned--the crown jewel of any respectable cocktail program--are built on bottom-shelf, dust-collecting bourbon. That's not just a letdown, it's a slap in the face. A cocktail like that deserves reverence, not shortcuts. And as if to twist the knife, there it was--a massive can of red maraschino cherries sitting shamelessly atop the bar, like some relic from a dive that's given up on finesse. It wasn't just a misstep. It was disrespect. In a place claiming the speakeasy mantle, details like these matter. They're the difference between theater and parody. The cocktails did not warrant the $15 price tag. Moreover, I would have paid more had I know the class of bourbon upfront. What ultimately redeems the space is its ambiance. The low flicker of the fireplace, the soft embrace of worn leather sofas, the curated hum of music floating just above conversation--it's seductive, even soulful. The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.

I absolutely cannot get enough of this place…read more The basement here is really the place to be. I love the ambiance, and the history on the walls. The cocktails change so it's always fun to come back! I always try to be there when this section opens. We were there a bit early so we needed to wait 15 or so minutes for it to open per the time listed here on Yelp. We hung out on the sidewalk counting the seconds until noon, only to be disappointed as we walked by and saw a sign in the door that said 1pm. We continued on our way and went to another local bar only to return hours later via car because I had had my exercise for the day. We got lucky in finding a parking spot because this is a small area, so cross your fingers. We found 2 seats at the bar and marvelled at the selection of microbrews. For a Saturday afternoon, the place slowly filled up with locals as everyone watched the basketball finals on the tvs. Bartender was very welcoming as were the locals we chatted with. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but did find something to drink. My partner was in heaven sampling and trying new brews. Would love to return later in the evening to see how this place fills up and to enjoy more of the locals and what it would be like living in this hidden community. So shhhh! The day before, the owner Michele couldn't seem to find the paperwork where we discussed menu, family style, decor, budget etc. Thankfully, we went in the day before to double check everything. Not only were we met with a misogynistic retort to everything we talked about but he did not clarify any details that we later found out would be important. The day of the event, we accidentally hit a bottle of wine bringing in the decorations. Total accident! During the party, we had to constantly find our server (super nice guy but terrible service) to take drink orders, to take food orders, and to clear the table and bring to go boxes. Drinks weren't refilled. We cut and served the cake we brought. Then our bill comes and surprising to us, we were charged a room fee (which I confirmed they DID NOT have prior to booking), charged a cake fee (just for them to store it in their fridge and NEVER told there would be a fee for bringing a dessert, despite Michele asking the day before if we were bringing our own or using them for dessert), and he charged us $50 for the bottle we accidentally broke. With all these extra charges, in addition to already paying a deposit, we were way over the previously discussed budget. I never would have agreed to his idea of everyone ordering individual dishes instead of family style plus his outrageous extra fees had I know it was going to blow the budget. He had every opportunity to tell us there is a cake fee (never have I EVER had to pay a fee to bring a cake- even our server said he felt it was in poor taste to charge us for that). We refused to pay the room fee because we already put down a deposit and were never told there would be these extraneous charges! The terrible ending happened when I slipped and fell (8 months pregnant) in the front of the restaurant RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OWNER, who stood over me as I was on the ground, and said "you must have slipped on the wine you spilled." Never offered concern, never offered to help me and never apologized. A staff member from the kitchen ran out to help me despite Michel being an arms length from me, looking down on me. Such a disgrace. My dress was dirtied from their floor and I was left with bruises on my knees the next day. No wet floor sign, clearly the floor wasn't cleaned up properly or dried. We will never patronize this restaurant again. What was meant to be a beautiful event turned into a calamity met with a chauvinist owner who lacks customer service and compassion.
