They have a nice selection of dresses. If you go there take my advice; buy it and RUN to your own seamstress for alterations. My dress needed a few changes. The woman promised me the world; hem? no problem....$20! change the sleeves? no problem....$30. Problem was that she was the only one in the place that speaks English and I didn't think of asking for it in writing. I had to go for a couple fittings, no-one speaks English, every time I went there I had a different person doing alterations, so everything was delayed. When it was finally done- 2 days before the wedding, I received the alteration bill- it was MORE than the dress cost. Nothing was itemized, just "alterations" and it was crazy money! The selection is wide and dresses are arranged by color which makes it super easy to find something. The best aspect is they have top class tailors to fit your dress to perfection and quickly. I was looking for a prom dress here and the selection was pretty good and the prices were great compared to some other places I've looked, but the customer service was not at all satisfactory. When we picked out the dress the workers were very helpful and offered great prices, but after we purchased the dress and were looking for alterations they did not treat us well. The workers clearly did not communicate about the prices offered to us so we had to bargain for small details like tears that needed to be repaired. We made our alteration appointment at the recommended time but then we were forced to reschedule and were told multiple times the dress wasn't ready after they told us it was all set. We do not live close so the drive was a challenge for us and we had to come back three extra times without receiving the dress after alterations. After complaining a little and saying we needed it now, I got the dress and it is perfect but I would not recommend waiting for the seamstress who is never in the office. If you purchase from here, use another boutique for alterations. read more

My daughter, went to Q Look Bridal on January 31st from Boston. I went up from Connecticut to meet her. She initially decided on a gown that same day, but after much pondering on her part, decided against the gown. My mistake was to pay for the gown in full at that time because it would be difficult for me to come up from CT. The following morning at 10 am she called and Q Look Bridal had not placed her order. She cancelled the order but we were unable to get our money back. After many phone calls, they refuse to return the money. This is not good customer service. We certainly would understand if the order had actually been place, but it had not. Please reconsider your choice of bridal salon to do business with. They have a great selection of dresses but their alterations are a nightmare. I was supposed to have 3 fitting appointments but in the end I had to come back 7 times because they kept screwing up the dress. one time I drove all the way out there on my lunch break for an appointment they scheduled only to find out they weren't even ready for me to try on the dress but they hadn't bothered to let me know. In the end they only finished 3 days before my wedding and I still had to use a ton of dress tape to keep the top on because it didn't fit. I payed $300 for the alterations. read more

The "manager" Josie is immature, rude, and decided it would be cute to hang up on me after SHE called me for a 3rd time asking if I plan to keep the dress we put on layaway before the COVID-19 pandemic. The absolute best experience I've had Wedding dress shopping. The new building is spacious and extremely comfortable. They're still in the process of decorating but it wasn't a bother for me at all. Tammy understood my concerns and offered to order the dress and if I didn't like it she would put it into her inventory and all I had to do is agree to purchase my dress from her. No one does that. Appalled at the experience we just had here! We went in 3/24 to look for a prom dress and my daughter found one she liked very much, we placed the order and were told they would call when it came in. I had to call them to confirm it was there, they said it just came in the shipment today which was 4/5. Today 4/7 we went in to try the dress on and see what was needed for alterations and pay for the dress. While at the counter I noticed the dirt ring around the bottom and the sales tag on the dress.. I knew it wasn't new and they tried to pass it off as it it were! I demanded they order a new dress and take the 25% off that they offered for me to take the floor model! She was told that she was going to get a call in March of 2022, when the dress what SUPPOSEDLY gonna be ready. NEVER GOT A CALL. My mother and I went today to check the status of the dress, cause there was no call. When we got there they told us that they couldn't find the dress, and after a WHILE, finally the dress was found. So we left, then I told my mom that the dress said sold and my mom's name was on the dress. So we went back in, and they still trynna say that wasn't our dress. Simply disappointed... I drove an hour and a half 1 way to this shop on 2 different occasions to find my prom dress. I found a dress I absolutely loved but unfortunately when I received this dress it was anything but pleasant. I spent 530 dollar (plus tax) on my dress and got a dress with patchy beading, a ripped seem on my backside and makeup stains. I was horrified when I open up the dress bag and saw the dress. But the bad turn of events didnt stop there. When me and my mother contacted the store we found out that they had sent me the floor model. I payed a total of 550 dollar on a dress that who know how many girls had tried on. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were told that that is the dress we agreed. But we never discussed the fact I would be getting the floor model. Not only a floor model but one with so much damage. Who in there right mind would pay full price for a damaged floor model. NOT ME! They have yet to offer a exchange for a new dress or a refund. read more

I went here for a prom dress on a whim and was very impressed. Everything was organized by size & style. The girls were very helpful, and not pushy at all. Walk ins were welcome and everything was very reasonably priced. No additional charge to have a new dress ordered and I was told that alterations were $20 for bottom hemming and around $15 to be taken in on the sides. What started off as a great place to get a prom dress, slowly spiraled to a dont go here place. Our experience during the dress selection was great. The staff was great. We put the dress on hold to think about it overnight. We returned the next day, to confirm our choice, and placed an order for the dress. We were told it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. While we were trying on the dress the second day, a young girl had a hissy fit (read major scene) because we had selected "her dress" and the staff would not sell it to her despite the girls going to different schools. Because she owned the dress before purchasing it. Anyway I shrugged it off as a an overly dramatic teen. Six weeks later, we get a text message at 9PM telling us there was a problem with the order and now the dress could not be delivered to us in time for prom. My daughter was devastated to say the least. I called the store to get to the root cause, I was told the dress entered the US but got lost in transit from the import location to the store. I claim BULLSH*T! Im sure there was tracking on the package, even my face wash from Amazon has delivery tracking. I called back a second time and got a slightly different story and a lame Im sorry. While we did manage to get offered a 20% discount on a replacement dress, it was not going to change our mind to go elsewhere. Why would we shop there again when the first order mysteriously went missing. We finally locate another prom dress at a different store, and head into Q Look to claim our refund. I was told that they would only issue me a company check. I said NO WAY either give me cash or credit my credit card. The excuse that "My manager wasnt there and I need her authorization code" wasnt going to work with this Mom. So the staff member quietly walked away and eventually was able to credit my card. The real kicker here is my daughter was standing there the whole time and not ONCE did she or I get an apology to our face. This was the red flag, and I put it together. This dress was not lost in transit, they sold it to the girl who put on the huge display of drama, and for twice the price if not the same price. The whole thing is shady and doesnt make sense to me. Either way stay away their customer service s*cks! I even called other prom shops as far away as PA, and upon explaining the situation even those shops said sorry. This is my second time coming to Q Look and I've left dissatisfied once again. For girls who are sizes 12+ they don't have many choices for you. Their "new arrivals" are mostly sizes 2-8. I had made an appointment here for Saturday and when I walked in it took a while for someone to actually acknowledge me, the store says by appointment only but I was tudely ignored while I was trying to find wedding dresses for other customers who walked in after me but were looking to spend more money than I was. The woman brought me quite a few dresses to try on, but they were all the mermaid fit I specifically told her I wasn't looking for because i have a very curvy figure and the dresses do not go up over my butt. After being ignored for over a half hour the woman have me so much attitude about not being happy with the selection so she brought me, in a huff, dressed 3 sizes too large that I'm not sure were even wedding dresses. Not to mention all of the dresses she brought me were between $1200-2000 when I specified I was not looking to spend more than a few hundred since I was eloping. She just kept having the dresses coming and coming, and making my first prom try on fun because I was trying on dresses I didn't think I would. Unfortunately I went again this year and didn't receive that at all. The lady asked me what I was looking for I gave her 3 colors I didn't want to wear and she came at me with attitude saying "then what color can you even wear?"
