Came here today off of the recommendation of a couple friends who go here. I had a pedicure and a shellac manicure done. I typically don't get manicures but I decided to really treat myself. I showed the tech a design and she gave me exactly what the picture showed and exactly what I asked for. I also have large nail surfaces and have had a difficult time finding places that polish my entire nail/toenails... not this place. The attention to detail, quality and customer service.... Note: There are no licenses hanging in the shop. Since Tracy and Mike left (loved them!!!), my daughter and I wanted to try out the new manicurists. We popped in at a busy time and they graciously fit us in less than an hour. There were two techs in their twenties and an owner who understood English but could not speak it (I'm a talker). My first impressions were that they were all very gracious and kind, and I appreciated seeing sanitized metal instruments. And as always there was a nice buzz of friendly Clearviewers there. The owner applied the acrylic and polish after one of the younger gals took the polish off. I had broken three nails and the young woman had to tell the owner how to repair them. It went downhill from there. Seven of my fingers had cuticles that were cut by the electric file. On one hand I had a sore hangnail that began to bleed, and although she put cotton/ styptic on it and glued it, today it looks infected and is painful. After we left my daughter showed me a big dent in the acrylic of some of her nails made by the edge of the electric file. Six of my nails also have noticeable dents or bumps, and the tips were at different angles, although she filed them SO much.c I will go to another salon to have them repaired. Hoping Q Nails- Clearview settles in and improves, so I can try them again. I will post pics, nails are dark pink. read more

This was my first time in, and I think this is a fabulous salon. They do have new ownership but didn't affect quality what so ever. I did an overlay for dipping powder and couldn't be happier with the results! Thin, shiny, and shaped well! Excited to have found such a great place close to home. After less then a week of having the dip Powder nails all cracked. Want to give them one more try; I think they needed to dip the nails three times vs two. Would of made them last longer and be stronger. read more

Update: after going back to give them another chance, this place is not worth giving more chances to. The pedicure I got chipped in less than a week, which is way too fast. When I went back, one of the employees told me they were busy and said 'come back later' - no ETA of how long the wait might be if I stayed, no plan of a time to return, no suggestion to make an appointment. It was terrible service, especially since I didn't trust that the pedicure would be good and I was just giving them another shot. I walked out and went straight to another pedicure place on Seattle Hill that was much much better. It added a few minutes to my drive, but I'd rather be driving than sitting there in the gross little nail shop waiting for who knows how long! Original review: This place was okay. For now, pros: pedicure was pretty good and inexpensive, people were friendly. Cons: they were running way behind (started my appt 25 min late), the chairs are kind of gross, not that many OPI colors, and the woman rushed through my pedicure (which is fine since they were so late, but also a bit annoying after waiting so long). read more

Q Nails in Snohomish off of highway 9! I've been going to this particular Q Nails now for 3 years, ever since prom with my friend Regen. Tracy and Michael (The Old Owners) were wonderful! Tracy always did my eyebrows JUST the way I liked them! She new I had very sensitive eyes so she was very gentle, worked slowly, and was just very patient and kind. And Michael was a pro at doing acrylic nails! Both of them always took their time, they were very patient, kind, talkative, gentle, etc... loved them like they were family. I went in today to get my regular scheduled eyebrow appt. and come to find out there are new owners. When I first walked in I was not greeted, I waited 5 mins for someone to even notice I was there. Then once they realized I was there... I told them what I was there for. The woman who was doing my eyebrow waxing was not gentle, when applying the wax- I slightly moved my face due to it being hot and she told me to "hold still" instead of "oh I'm sorry about that". Then she was very rough when it came to ripping the tape off. Again rushing through everything. Next is tweezing, there was at least 10 times that she had grabbed my skin instead of my hair. Looking in the mirror I still had a bunch of hairs that she had missed. But I was so irritated that I just got up and said it was fine. After all that was said and done I didn't even want her to do my lip. (Which I always get done with my eyebrows). I ALWAYS tipped Tracy and Michael. But I was not going to tip the woman who did my eyebrows. They don't care about their clients, they aren't welcoming at all, I was very unhappy with this experience. Now that new owners bought Michael and Tracy's shop I decided to give it a try because I've been going to the same salon for almost 15 years.... but I went today and it was the worst experience ever. I always do pink and white and it took Michael about an hour to do it perfectly well two hours in which most of the time it was filing the new owner burned and cut me more times then I could count, not only is there only 2 nails done correctly but some of major dips and others are rounded when I asked for square. Only 2/10 even look okay and are completely square... but after all the pain I just wanted out of there. She would squeeze my hand very hard and hold me until it hurt because when she burned or cut me I would flinch (normal response). I will never ever go back. read more

I have never been to a salon that has spent more time on my nails! The women who work here are extremely hard working and give me the best manicures and pedicures I've ever had! I see so many complaints from people ever since the new ownership but I have never seen someone walk away from this place unhappy. Every time I go there both of them are extremely kind and detailed. This is by far my favorite place to get my nails done. In the past I have often had the experience of thinking "are they talking about me" when employees start speaking their own language in front of you while doing your nails, you don't have to worry about that here because although the staff is asain, they speak English to you and really do get to know you and are VERY friendly! The lady who works there knows my face when I walk in and I have only been there about 2-3 times and always asks about my mom (she goes more often than me). I went in there for a Mani-Pedi and an eyebrow wax. When I went in I was the only customer and the owners both worked on me. I was happy to be done quickly and efficiently. Everything was going great until they both made me bleed. The green stuff they put on it burned so bad! She also didn't paint the entire nail. My eyebrows were done quickly and relatively pain free to my previous experiences at other places. They were both very nice and we talked the entire time. Also when I wanted to put my shoes back on to go shopping the placed me under heat lamps for a few minutes and then placed oil on my toes to make sure they wouldn't be ruined in my shoes. That was very helpful and I was thankful to not have to go shopping in those fake flip-flops. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I have been to a number of salons in Lynnwood/Bothell and Q Nails by far is the best nail salon I have been to. Michael and Tracy are very personable; they do quality work and take their time with clients. They do take walk-ins but do not rush to get to the next person like I have experienced at other salons. I have been here many times over the past couple of years. I always get a great Shellac mani. I have never had a pedi there. The last time I called for a mani (~3wks ago), they couldnt get me in early AM, so they said come in at 8:30--they don't even open until 9! ..."just want to help our customers". When you are considering a visit to QNails, definitely consider which reviews were done before the management switched over to new owners. They didn't change their name, so I'd hate to see them judged on old management. These guys are fantastic! Diligent, educated about nail health and customer safety and their gear is all new (they remodeled when they took over). They are looking to hire more folks to accommodate more clients but I think want to build their business before they do and want to pick the best. Because it is the two of them, call ahead for an appointment if you can. If you want a high volume, in and out, tons of staff, lukewarm quality place, DON'T go there. If you want personalized attention, safety and good service, definitely DO check them out. I live in Snohomish but would travel to see them from another town if I had to. read more
