I was pretty anxious about needed to visit a beauty supply store. I was running out of places to go…read morebecause so far all of them treat their customers so badly. I'm new to the area and decided to search for a place. This one was nearby and looked like it would have everything I need. It was very hard to find parking and I forgot to bring coins. I parked on a residential street nearby . Once I walked in I could sense the vibe was much better than anywhere else. No one harassed me and I found everything I needed and the prices were excellent. Also, the accept AMEX for anything over $5! That was super convenient. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would return again and recommend this one.

The vibes in the salon were great. Everyone was super friendly and sweet, they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable constantly asking me for coffee and if I was ok. And they played music and had really fun vibes. So although I was there for a couple of hours it was ok bc of the energy in the salon. It's based by appointment so I was attended right away, but depending on what you get, prepare to spent a significant amount of time there. I saw girls that were in and out fairly quickly. But those that were getting some type of dye applied to their hair were there with me for quite some time. It is a little on the pricey side but I think that's ok bc I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for. So the results and the service was def worth the price.

Walgreens is a pretty standard experience for anyone. They all have a similar layout and you can…read moreexpect to find the usual assortment of candies, "As seen on TV" items, cosmetics, cleaners, toys, snack foods and more. I have wandered by this Walgreens many times but never stepped foot in it until yesterday. Overall, this Walgreens is very well maintained. It was clean and the shelves were well stocked and organized. Kudos to the cashier in the makeup department who made it a point t call over customers when she saw the line at the main cashier was getting a bit long. I liked seeing the teamwork between the two (and it made the lines go much faster). There's ample parking in the lot in front of the store and there are a few places to eat nearby including a Wendy's and Don Alex. I'd say Walgreens is best for very specific items (such as Distilled Water, $2 for 2!) but not so much for others (some of the toys are way overpriced). Warning: this Walgreens is not 24 hours like some of the others in the area had has more "normal" business hours.
