Front seat cover fell off as soon as the plane landed.

Booked Qantas just because of their good reputation. They are falsy advertising the services they provide. The plane is super old and was literally falling apart. The entertainment system did not work for an almost 16 hour flight. The passengers were only informed after they had boarded the flight. I will never fly with Qantas ever again! There was no compensation. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau and also dispute the charges as they failed to provide basic services.

Like no matter how great the airline, who in their right mind would want to endure the airports, the hassle and then the bore of being on a 13 hour flight between Sydney and LA? However, if you have to do it, I'd say Qantas is definitely the way to do it. They use the new Airbus 380, huge, but very comfortable and even more so as Qantas has cut down the number of seats the plane can handle in order to give more leg room and general ease for long distance travel. Though we had packed food to bring aboard, Qantas handed out plenty of snakes and drinks, enough to keep me happy. Also, the behind each seat individual televisions and channel selections are about the best I've seen in the business. I also found the crew staff to be extremely polite and helpful as well as real professionals when it comes to what they are doing.

I reckon our plan, a 380 Air Bus, looks still in good condition, as long as the wings & engines work and the pilots are sober

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to flight. The optimist invents the airplane, the pessimist the parachute. Just remember, if you crash because of bad weather, your funeral will at least, be held on a sunny day :) Well it's the start of me journey home, finally. Been looking forward to this moment, since me left OZ last year. I'm so stoked to see me family and friends. Thanks to the fellow yelpers for their kind words on me departure and holiday...Much Appreciated Mates :D However, I first had to get through the bloody luggage check in. I reckon I don't feel that six board bags, three which belong to me mate Keegan, who's also a fellow Perthie, hitching a ride back home as well, and 7 suitcases, 4 which are mine, are too many items, well minus the 3 carry-on bags as well. However, Qantas I reckon just about craped their pants, when they see us rolling up wiv all our gear. Even wiv me Club Membership, the over charges are basically gonna require me to refinance me home :) I reckon 580 U.S dollars for me and 425 U.S dollars for me mate Keegan. Since I convinced him to take so many boards, I felt obligated to pay for his charges, AWW what a nice bloke I am. The over-charges, seem like a wee bit shot to the gut, jus for our surfboards.....but I can't leave home wivout them. I feel naked. However, the clerk at the counter really worked wiv us to bring down all the extra charges, she's amazing. Thanks kindly Stephanie. You're an absolute dear for your effort and help. (I reckon the fact that she's also from Perth, might have helped jus a wee bit :) After all our luggage was checked in which was not all that much of a hassle after all, since we got plenty of help from Qantas, it was off to the Club Lounge to wait for our flight at 10:10 tonight. Well happy summer to all, be safe, while I have a wicked winter down under. Cheers to me fellow yelpers!!!

I love Qantas. I was going to Sydney on a school trip and was almost cringing at the idea of 14 hours in coach considering my experiences is from US airlines. I was flying on the impeccable Airbus A380. When I sat in my seat I had ample leg room and the seats have this netting that you can put you feet in and it actually cradles your feet and takes the pressure off of your feet which REALLY increases comfort and ability to sleep on this long flight. Each seat features on-demand entertainment and free booze which I'll also give credit to being able so sleep for about 5 hours on this long venture. The A380 also featured self-serve bar in the back of the plane for snack and drink and a place to stretch your legs. I only wish I could fly Qantas and this plane everywhere.

I traveled on ITA Airways Flight AZ629 from Chicago to Rome on May 25, 2026, and unfortunately my…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing. Upon boarding, I found my seating area to be noticeably dirty. When I politely asked a flight attendant if the area could be cleaned, I was met with a negative attitude that made me feel as though I was being unreasonable for making a basic request regarding cleanliness. The more troubling issue occurred during meal and snack service. One flight attendant repeatedly skipped over me while serving passengers in my row. She provided service to the passengers seated around me but ignored me entirely on multiple occasions. I had to wait while others were served, and it became so noticeable that fellow passengers sitting nearby spoke up on my behalf and pointed out that I had been overlooked. As the only African American passenger seated in my immediate row and surrounding area, this experience was particularly upsetting. While I cannot know the reason for the treatment I received, being repeatedly ignored while others around me were served left me feeling singled out and uncomfortable for the duration of the flight. I understand that flight attendants work under demanding conditions, and I appreciate that mistakes can happen. However, the combination of the aircraft's cleanliness issues, the dismissive attitude when I requested assistance, and the repeated failure to provide me with the same level of service as surrounding passengers created an experience that fell far below the standard I expected from an international airline. I hope ITA Airways reviews this incident seriously, including the conduct of the crew on Flight AZ629, and takes appropriate steps to ensure that all passengers are treated with equal professionalism, respect, and courtesy. No lounge service unless you have a certain credit card, but I don't fly domestic enough to make it worth it. I paid more to experience better service; get on and off the plane first; larger, roomier seats in the front cabin; and meals, snacks, and drinks included. I did obtain good service. The breakfasts did not rock my world however. The quiche was pretty good. The yogurt that was served on both flights was flavorless, and I don't like thick, flavorless food in general. No fault of Delta, but I had to endure the same family to and from New Orleans. The parents were traveling with two small, obstreperous children. It wasn't enjoyable. The entire family was not seated together on either flight, but both boys wanted to be seated with mom, which made for an active flight to say the least.

First of all, I want to begin this review by stating that this review is going to be about Delta…read moreAirlines Domestic First Class. I know a lot of people have a lot of complaints about Delta Airlines. But, you have to keep everything in perspective with all domestic carriers. They're all pretty much the same. They all try to do a good job. But, sometimes problems arise. Hopefully that won't happen to you. Personally, I've never had any real issues with Delta Airlines First Class. Sure, sometimes the flights are a bit delayed, but they've never been massively delayed or anything like that. That's a good thing. In terms of service, I really recommend that you fly First Class on Delta Airlines. Sure, it's not anything near International First Class. That's a completely different ball game. But, flying domestic first class really gives you a bit of an advantage. First of all, you get to board the plane first. Meaning, you're allowed to get to your seat, put your bag away, and sit back and relax while all the other passengers struggle to find their seat and a place to put their carry-on luggage. In terms of what they offer for food and drink, it's all complementary. Is it great food? No, not really. It's pretty much what can be expected. But, it is a step above economy class, and certainly you don't have to pay for it. This is the same with their drink menu. Anything you want to drink, alcohol included, they provide to you for free. Plus, you do get a considerably larger seat than the ones they offer in economy class. Overall, as with all flights, you just have to be prepared to accept what's going to happen. Certainly, we all want the best experience possible. And, for the most part, Delta Airlines has never let me down. But, you have to be willing to roll with the punches. The best way to do that, I believe, is to fly Delta First Class. It really takes a lot of the edge off the trip, and makes the whole flying experience a whole lot better.

My plane left Los Angeles International (LAX) exactly as scheduled, flight preparations were organized and folks got in line according to their assigned zones. Many of our senior citizens in wheelchairs were allowed first and there were a lot of staff who facilitated the departure protocols. The flight was very smooth with some bumpy ride along the mid-flight but seems comparably similar with any other flights I've taken everywhere. The stewards and stewardesses seemed not so sweet and focused, not the usual, can we offer you something"? I'd say, it's probably cultural although this are just observations on my part, since this time, I bought an economy class ticket during the last minute. Eva Air has the best food compared to other airlines that fly the SEA route, chicken pasta, Chinese-style cooking and a comprehensive fruits and sandwich galore accompanied our meals. The timeline for serving food and snacks was perfect, not so late nor early, just about right. They also seem to recognize our need to sleep and allowed quiet and dark during our flight and bathrooms were also clean and fully packed with everything we needed. One observation is the wide seats and better spacing of their plane compared to other Asian airlines, who pack their seats and seem very tight and skimpy. The stay over transition was alright although they (Eva Airlines transition staff) keep asking for printed tickets in Taiwan when some of us had difficulty activating our phones to show them our online boarding tickets. Since passengers aren't able to access anywhere, they should have a better way of not trying make us feel, we have to painstakingly look for a WiFi access (was too weak for an international airport and inconvenient to those travelers just passing by) to be able to show them our boarding tickets again! Our transfer trip wasn't too bad as we safely landed in Manila on time as scheduled, and smoothly.

The food was excellent with nice glassware and plated beautifully. I liked it so much that I flew them again to Japan despite a longer travel time (they connect through Taipei) rather than paying for mediocre service on an American carrier.
