Step off the sidewalk and this hush‑hidden Hialeah spot comes alive--ovens humming, tickets flying, crew locked in and genuinely kind. There's a single table by the door if you want your slice the second it lands. Cuban‑style pies lead the charge: airy, tender dough with a bronzed rim, a bright tomato kick, and a generous, gooey melt. Keep it classic with pepperoni, or go custom--double cheese, veggie stacks, or bold meats--mix‑and‑match halves if you're indecisive. Quick bites also are rich in flavor! The non‑negotiable? The mamey milkshake. Thick, velvety, and spun to order, it tastes like Miami in a cup--lush, tropical mamey with a creamy finish and a swirl of sweetness inside that plays perfectly against a salty slice. Pair a pepperoni pie with that mamey shake for peak sweet‑savory contrast, or run it alongside a veggie build for a cool, fruity counterpoint. Add whipped cream, call it dessert, or sip it straight through the meal--either way, it's the must‑have move. Low profile, big flavor, and a signature shake you'll crave on the drive home. Add it to your Hialeah hit list.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Hialeah - A Must-Try Cuban Pizza Spot! I've driven by this Cuban pizza joint in the heart of Hialeah countless times and always noticed it packed with people. Curiosity finally got the best of me, and I decided to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. The location itself has some history -- it used to be a Checkers years ago. The building is still small, with two drive-thru lanes, but they've smartly added an outdoor seating area on the side, giving an inviting vibe. I pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered a ham and cheese pizza along with a mamey shake. After paying at the window, I was asked to park in one of the numbered spots in front to wait for my order. Less than 8 minutes later, an attendant came out and brought the food right to my car -- super quick service! Throughout the entire process, the employees were genuinely friendly and courteous. Now, the food -- absolutely amazing. The pizza crust is that classic Cuban dough -- thicker than traditional pizza but not too thick -- just the right balance. It was soft, slightly crispy on the edges, and full of flavor. The ham and cheese combo hit all the right notes. The mamey shake was a standout too. It came swirled with caramel and topped with whipped cream. Creamy, flavorful, and the sweetness was perfectly balanced -- not too overpowering, just right. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more items on the menu. This place lived up to the hype and then some. A true local gem!

Service was a little slow on a small to go order but acceptable for a busy day on a Friday night. The place was full on the seating area and other people were waiting at the window of the old checkers location. Staff is very friendly and Cuban Pizza was really good

So, I was finally able to go on Friday, August 14th. The place was quiet and tranquil. I met Jorge inside the Taproom and we walked over to the BBQ trailer to place the order. I decided on the Pork Ribs, Coleslaw, and some fresh French Fries. (Guys, he also does Pork Belly Burnt Ends!) I told him i'll have to put the PBBE on my next visit. Jorge was friendly, patient, and accommodating (I was the only there ordering at the time). It's also good to judge an operation when they are busy and cranking it out. But, today was my day for his BBQ. The wait for the food was about 15 mins. and he brought the silver tray inside for me. All the food looked so pleasant, clean, and neat...I had to take pictures. I like this presentation; the clean orderly look of good BBQ. Tells me a lot about the chef. Dig in: My first bite of the Ribs, the meat fell right off the bone. It was amazing! No sauce! Just clean meat deliciousness. I tried the 'Slaw, and then the Fries. They both complemented the Pork Ribs. I sat in my chair and savored the rest of my platter (check pics please). Or better yet, you need to go visit yourself and try the BBQ! Here is the Hours of Operation below: Thursday 5pm- 10pm Friday 5pm-11pm Saturday 2pm - 11pm Sunday 2pm-6pm

I had the Beyond Burger w Guac and fries. My husband had the bbq pork belly with tostones. We were both very happy with our meals. But I can't get enough of the mustard bbq sauce!! I'd buy it by the jar if they sold it. So so sooooooooo good!!!!

It was 2:00 pm on 05/14/2026. The sandwiches were delivered to us by the waiter, who was also the host at the door. The brisket was chopped up into little squares, cold and tasteless. The buns were cold as if they were just pulled out of the bag from inside the cooler. The onion strings were greasy and the fries were undercooked. The only redeeming thing on the plate was the single slice of tomato and the pickled onions. As well, the waiter overcharged us for the sandwiches. At $19.99 per sandwich, I would definitely expect something that would have blown my mind. These did not. Even if we were billed at the $15.79 lunch rate, I would have expected something better than what we received. The place was fairly empty (only a handful of tables occupied), but it was clean. I'm just extremely disappointed in the whole visit. I am sure someone from the store or corporate will contact me, but it will take a lot of convincing to return after such a bad experience.

Inside you'll join a line to choose your food from a cafeteria-style setup. They have a wonderful variety of vegetables, prepared dishes, pork in many forms, and wonderful chicharon. Their yuca is perfect. I love their fried pork chunks with congris, plantain and yuca... a bit stuck in my ways! This is a great place to pick up a meal for an event of the whole family. Although there is on-site dining available, I've always seen this as a takeout place. We live a couple of miles away, and it's a quick and convenient option for a truly authentic treat. Parking is also consistently a mess! Be aware that cars often double and even triple park. Don't worry... most people are picking up to go, so you're unlikely to have to wait long if the lot is full.

It was nicely loaded with ham, scrambled eggs and other veggies. I sampled the pork chunks some fellow foodie friends ordered and it was juicy & flavorful. Logistically, I am knocking a star because although they have an inside seating area, you can only sit down if you order from there instead of going through the line. They do have a few tables and fans outside.
