Qdoba is one of my favorite restaurants in the world!!!! Friday evening, I was craving a rice bowl so I decided to drive all the way (45 minutes) to the Jonesboro Arkansas location just for that. I completed my mobile order while at the gas station, only to arrive at the restaurant and greeted with "we're completely out of food". The young lady says again "we're out of food, did you have the mobile order" I replied "yes" and she says again "we can't make it you will have to cancel"..and this is where my problem begin. Outside of running out of food as soon as you seen my order come in, someone should've called to say we can't make it because we have no food. Better yet, mobile ordering should've been disabled! Even better..the app should allow me to cancel when things happen!! There was no way for me to cancel my order on the mobile app, so I asked the young lady for the number for corporate, she didn't have a number but stated her manager would be in Saturday morning and I let her know that I didn't live in town to just come back and asked for the managers number, she wouldn't give it. Next issue, she looked "old enough" so you should be able to handle these type of situations, because a simple call to your manager asking how to proceed in fixing this issue, would have sufficed, instead she went back to cleaning up for the night. I eventually left the restaurant and sat in my car and found an online contact for corporate. They responded Sunday offering 2 free entrees and stated that the team over the restaurant would follow up with them.. l. I asked for a refund and compensation...again one of my favorite restaurants so of course, I will return, maybe next year. I just hate there was no immediate resolve for not having food and being able to cancel my order. And I understand as an employee it's frustrating but they need more resolution training. Update 9/22/25: never heard anything from the local team about the issue but the online customer service team did process my refund in full and offered me 2 entrees for my inconvenience. read more

After Mr. Patel sold to new owners, this place went totally downhill. The restaurant is FILTHY. I observed a female employee with hair down instead of pulled back, another wearing crocs as work shoes, one with no mask on prepping food, and another with a mask improperly worn. The tea carafes have open tops, allowing bacteria to accumulate. The food prep area is disgusting. If the health department were to pop in I bet they'd be shut down. Also, the employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. They just don't seem to care. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but I won't be back. read more

This place is a wreck. We stopped in on a Thursday at 5:10pm before a ball game. All the chairs were on top of the tables, like they were trying to close. Three employees standing around doing nothing. When we finally got acknowledged, we ordered 2 chicken burritos. They were out of white rice, they hollered to another worker- nope, no other rice. It's 5pm! Like- what's your plan for the next 5 hours?! Dude said he wouldn't eat the brown rice because it was hard. They were out of black beans. I'm not a fan of pinto beans, but trying to picture a burrito with no beans and rice, I said I would take pinto beans- there were 5-7 beans total, so we just left. Place was filthy, it's evident that the owner and workers take no pride in the place. Sad. read more

This is my 2nd time going to this Qdoba over a 6 months time span. I should have learned my lesson from the first experience. The first time we ordered a mobile order for 20 and when we got to the restaurant at the time that was designated they hadn't even started our order. It was a disaster. Fast forward to today we go in to order and the first order of business for the lady at the counter was to pick her butt before grabbing our tacos and inserting .5 oz of meat into them. So we were off to a great start before trying the tea that was in an open vat on the counter. It was rancid, along with the customer service. I only ordered food from here through uber eats twice, and my experience was mediocre both times. Although I am usually a fan of this chain restaurant, this specific location disappointed me. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl in which it came soggy and unflavoured. While this could be due to the fact that it was a to-go order, it did happen twice, therefore don't plan on returning. read more

I used to eat lunch here on a regular basis the place has gone down hill fast. The last 2 times I have been by they have been mobile only and those orders were screwed up. Went here after church on Mother's Day to treat the wife to a nice meal. I got the burrito bowl (so did my wife) and the kids just got chips and queso. My burrito bowl was fantastic. I got the adobe chicken with brown rice, black beans, queso, pico de gallo, and habenero salsa. It was nice and fresh and very tasty. My only complaint being that I could've eaten two of these bowls - but that's more because I'm a pig than because of anything they did wrong. My wife enjoyed hers which was basically the same thing I ordered. The kids are every chip and licked the bowl of queso clean (literally). Overall, I give them 4 stars. Not because I thought they didn't deserve 5 stars, but just because it's not really a 5 Star establishment. No offense, but if I have to walk through a line to order my food I don't really think it's 5 star worthy with the notable exception of B.A. Burrito. Anyway, go give them a try. It's pretty darned good. They do give a military discount - I believe it was 10%. read more

I've been coming here for years and I can tell that they have new owners FOR SURE. The brownies are AWFUL tasting and they never have fresh cookies which used to be the BEST. The customer service is bad too, they don't even follow the order placed. I mean, why are you working here if you hate it so bad? Then if there's a shortage on something they just give you whatever they want...like steak instead of chicken. Isn't that an up charge?! Your employees are costing you $$$ I mean...thanks for giving me steak for the price of chicken. This specific location has really gone down hill. It's disappointing because the previous management team were rockstars. The place was always clean, had friendly service and food was always fresh and well presented. Now it's quiet the opposite. This is the newest (and BEST) Mexican Grill in town. The food is made fresh daily from the authentic sauces to the tortillas and chips. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity served. I had three tacos one with seasoned ground beef one with pulled pork and the other with flat iron grilled steak. They provide a make to order experience with a wide variety of fresh toppings my son ate a made to order burrito and after seeing how wonderful it was we decided to take a nacho home to dad. This will be one of many trips here for me and my family. Awesome! read more

It wasn't the worst but it was pretty meh. Half-hearted greeting and the vibe was so apathetic I wondered if they would have cared if we had walked out the door. The portions were larger but it made the food extremely messy (due to the grease). Tacos shouldn't need to be eaten with a fork. Tables were cleared but not exactly clean. By far the worst experience I have had eating here the service counter was filthy and you could tell the food had been sitting a while at least stir it so it looks fresh. There was only one worker that was trying to help 4 different customers and you could tell he was frustrated. That was obvious when he kept leaving the counter and going to the back to find someone else to help. The chips were stale. Neither my husband or my self finished our dinner. And low and be hold after sitting down to eat there were 4 yes 4 employees at the counter when there wasnt anyone to wait on. We will not be going back to this location. read more

When I asked about why a man behind the counter yelled at me to have a seat and wait like Inwas some kind of unruly child. I sat there and waited. An African American lady answered phone as manager of the store in Jonesboro, AR. She explained the machine doesn't fully print the order. Therefore, the order may not be correct. If you want disgusting tables and no drinks (soda, sweet tea or unsweetened tea) you will definitely like it here. I have been to multiple Qdoba and chipotle restaurants across the country. I could eat this food everyday even if there is a Chinese plague floating around. Unfortunately, the qdoba in Jonesboro, AR is probably the most poorly managed restaurant in town. I didn't think it was possible that bad service could make food taste so bad. Consider yourself lucky if there is more than one employee working. You're even luckier if they have the big 3 (steak, chicken and beef). 90% of the time they won't have any veggies, sour cream or rice. As an outsider, it appears that the employees working there would rather catch Covid than be at work - that's sarcastic, but you get the point. Poor atmosphere, poor employee attitude, and just overall poor service. What a shame. read more

Went here today before a movie and it was good. The grilled veggie burrito was pretty good but required quite a bit of salsa to add taste to compensate for the excessive amount of rice and beans, and the lack of proper portions of grilled veg. The chips were so salty I couldn't even eat them, and the guacamole doesn't taste fresh enough. All in all an okay burrito with help from the salsa and I will likely return as vegan options in this area are hard to find. read more

Not being familiar with this place, I went in to find it is very similar to Chipotle which I knew well. They have burritos, tacos, salads, bowls, etc which are all made to order and you watch them make it from the assortment of fresh ingredients. I got a burrito and it was very full! In fact when the guy was rolling it closed the stuffing popped out the top of the shell. Instead of putting it in a new shell, he just wrapped another shell around the whole thing! I didn't like that as now I had 2 shells which made it very doughy. I ripped off the outer shell and it was great. Good fresh flavors! I love the food, but each time I come I'm disgusted by the state of the dining room. Tables are never clean, trash cans are usually full or overflowing, the condiment bar is covered in grime and dust, and today many of the ingredients on the line weren't stocked. No one else was in the restaurant besides me and my friend, and none of the three employees behind the counter made any attempt to clean at all. The last time I was here, an employee went straight from sweeping with a nasty broom to working the food service line without changing gloves. When the front of the restaurant is this filthy and poorly managed, I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. Every time I decide to eat here, I hope it'll be better, but it never is. I placed a large online order for a few days in advance of a family birthday party. The order specified that the food was to be prepared/picked up the day of the party. The day I placed the order, they called me to tell me (and were rude and short with me when talking to me) the food was ready. I explained it was the wrong day. The day and time of the party, the food was not ready and they had thrown away my order information. They asked to use my phone to see my order and used my phone to fix my order. This is unsanitary in the best of times, but is especially bad during a pandemic, but I was little stunned by the whole situation and let them use it, which they kept using my phone and touching food, even prepping another customer's food during this. Once I got home, I realized the food was very cold and a large part was missing. I warmed the food in the oven and my husband picked up the missing part, but really it was a pretty awful restaurant experience. The tables also looked pretty nasty when I was in and out.
