My experience here at QDOBA in junction city was nothing short of perfect! I enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere in this casual dining spot (which I just found out about today and am so happy I got to experience!) the dining and service areas were all well kept, clean and tidy. The line was nonexistent so we walked up and were immediately greeted by a kind and communicative young man who made my burrito and complemented me on my choice of ingredients! The other two gentleman that completed our order were friendly and helpful as well! Last but very much not least, getting to finally bite into my steak and sweet n spicy chicken burrito was such a fantastic moment of relief from hunger and pure bliss from the incredible tastes of the fresh and delicious ingredients they incorporated into my meal! Also, we got a free chips and queso for being a new sign up member on QDOBA's online rewards program which was FANTASTIC! I looooove queso way too much and this one was maybe one of my favorite queso's I've ever had! It was so rich, warm, creamy and cheesy but not only that it had fresh peppers and onions and I was just so happy with every bit of my experience at this wonderful establishment. I did a mobile order thinking it would be quicker but not. My order was due to be picked up at 543 I got the order at 6pm. The cashier offered me a fountain drink for the wait. I declined yes the restaurant was busy I understand. I mentioned that this was the worst looking bowl i had ever seen. Yes it is a mini bowl but please put enough of what I ordered to slightly fill the bowl not half. I felt like this was a half mini bowl but I paid for a full mini bowl. The bowl did not have guacamole they gave me a side order. I will have to seriously think about going back to eat there again due to portion size for the price. read more

When reading this please consider this is my first time having Qdoba anywhere. So it is not really a review specific to this location vs the food in general. Very Chipotle-esque. As a Chipotle fan, I didn't feel it compared. If you've ever had Moe's, I would say it was more similar to that. I had half steak and half chicken burrito bowl. Just like Chipotle, they want to load it up with rice to make it appear full. Just like Chipotle, I have to cut them off from adding more rice. Otherwise, similar - 2 rices, 2 bean options, lettuce, tomato, queso, salsas. I do think they may have had more topping choices than Chipotle. I personally felt the steak was better than the chicken- leaner and more tender. I just felt it was lacking the flavor that Chipotle has. If I didn't get some salsa on the side (medium green salsa), I feel the taste would have been a but dull and boring and not had enough heat. Not bad but not something I would seek out. I love qdoba. It's one of my favorite based on taste, quality, and fast service. Today the manager was incredibly rude. When you spend over $100 and are treated like you inconvenienced someone it sucks. I don't like this guy. He is rude every time I've been in there and the younger kids working there are so sweet. Wish their boss was better. Update: took away a star. Despite our last experience we kept on returning. Each time ( at least one weekly visit) the manager has been the one to assist in ringing out the orders. He is not welcoming, kind, outgoing, or accommodating. So despite the lack of customer service we kept coming back because the food is insane good. Unfortunately we are done now. Ordered at 11:30 for pickup at 12. At 12:15 the orders were still not made nor did the manager acknowledge the mistake or apologize. This town is limited in its selections which apparently makes some businesses feel like a commodity that aren't disposable. We will never eat at Qdoba again .!!!! To start , the "steak" is all but gristle , for $32.00 we could do better down the street . The service was slow, rude, and got it wrong Three times . They offered to remake our order but no refunds . Most of our order went in the garage. They act like we knew how to use there irrational menu then got short with us . A tortilla filled with mostly rice and beans with very little of everything else isn't worth $16 no matter how big it is . Awful vibes from the whole staff. Each step of the process was met by a new employee who made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. Then I got down to a manager who I thought would make up for it. But of course, he was also being inconvenienced by my business. Not a single smile through the whole line, and when I didn't tip because of it, the manager made sure not to say "thank you" or anything. Food was solid, but what an awful environment. Fresh and plentiful. They were closing up when we arrived, but they let us in and were very gracious. The food is ok, better than Taco Bell and they offer wheat tortillas and grilled shrimp. When you have to eat fast food on a road trip, this is a great option. I'm happy. read more

The burritos are good, but very expensive from 8 to 10 dollars a burrito. Which is pretty crazy considering I could get three of the best burritos ever in my home town San Diego for that same price. They have good salsas and a variety of it, but they keep it behind the counter and ration it out. There is no military discount. They have a kids menu and you can always customize how you want your order, I've always asked for "this" rather than "that" and my request was met. I'm not one to complain but when it comes to customer service, I have high expectations. There was a couple in front of me and it took 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge their presence. There was a young lady who was cleaning who was very friendly as for the other staff members, they were extremely rude. The woman who was finishing my bowl didn't say anything except when she asked what type of bowl I was purchasing. I understand that it can be chaotic but it was not busy and when I'm spending my money at an establishment, I expect some type of customer service. Pretty good burritos and variety of choices. They've got different salsas including mango salsa which I always get. It's a bit expensive though and they don't do combos, you have to buy everything separately and they do charge about a dollar and change to add grilled vegetables to your order which is ridiculous considering chipotle add those for free. read more
