When you decide to move out to the 'burbs, you have to make some sacrifices. In our case, we got a dream house in our price range, but not without sacrifices. What I got in square footage and more safety and easier entertaining, I lost in locally-owned, uber-friendly, non-chain restaurants, bistros, et al. You give up being within a stone's throw of your favorite, quaint, little locally owned {insert ethnic cuisine type here} joint. You give up knowing (by face and by first name) the owners and their kids. You give up being able to walk to places that make you feel connected to the vibrant, growing, evolving part of the city. Instead, you get places like Qdoba. I don't dislike it, don't get me wrong. That's why I am giving it a 3. But come here on a Friday night, and you get stressed parents, bringing their kids into eat at a place that prepares Mexican-ish food to their exact(ing) specifications, because they ran out of time to go to the store and cook, or they're on their way home from tee ball and know the kids won't make it until the Hamburger Helper is ready. Personally, when I end up here, I feel defeated, like my to do list and my hunger conspired to get the best of me. It's not great and it's not bad. It's just fine. It's just one of those quiet little places, in the menacing shadow of Hobby Lobby and Chick-Fil-A that reminds you, quietly, that if you've landed here for dinner, there was a point (and you can probably point to it on your calendar) where your day took you out behind the field house and beat you up. But the queso's pretty good, and the chips have just enough salt, and you got to choose exactly what went into your quesadilla. Then the serotonin gets released, and (1,500 calories and 30 fat grams later) suddenly you're feeling okay. read more

This place is close to work, so we used to come here at least every other week. The Qdoba Rewards Card got me a few free burritos each year, which was nice. The food is fine, though hardly life-changing, but what else would you really expect? When Qdoba announced it was giving everyone free guacamole, I did not realize it would result in higher prices. I hate guacamole, and resent being charged more so other people can have it for free. I would think offering me some free queso instead would be fair. Nope. Not happening. I never leave reviews but I had to. Went to get a chicken burrito and the lady behind the counter proceeded to load it down with everything but chicken, (rice burrito?). When finished she goes to roll this thing, and let me tell you, did the absolute worst job doing so. I ordered a chicken burrito and got a totilla rice dumpling. Great location at NW Expressway and Rockwell. Plenty of parking in the back. I ordered a taco salad for myself and 3 soft tacos for my son. Even with 10 people ahead of us, the employees did a great job of expediting everyone's orders. I had grilled chicken, white rice, lettuce, tomatoes, queso, salsa and taco shell on the salad. On the soft taco, we got a simple round of grilled chicken, lettuce and salsa. Great portions and everything looked and tasted fresh. I would highly recommend this location. It's pretty good. Not a whole lot of selection but it really is just fast food Mexican a notch up from the more terrible places like Taco -insert Bell, Mayo, or Bueno-. The service is like any other normal fast food joint -enough talking to convey that both you and the employee know what you are getting and a smile here and there, and then you're out the door. When you gotta eat, you gotta eat. After church service and an hour at Jo-Ann's, my husband, one year old and I needed some grub...and pronto. While Qdoba is not authentic Mexican, it does hit the spot. This place was very clean with a very warm staff. Even with a long line, we didn't feel rushed or like we were annoying anyone. As much as I loves me a good Chipotle burrito, you can't top the fact that Qdoba includes guacamole and queso into their price. Who the heck wants to pay $1-$2 extra? Ain't nobody got time for that. My favorite place for Mexican chain. They allow you to customize your order without extra charges. Their burrito bowls are my fav! Clean sitting areas. The only thing is would change is the sidewalk coming into the restaurant is gross. Thank Goodness the inside isn't like that. read more

I love Qdoba and I always will, but unless you walk in and physically order as they make it, they will skimp on items. My family just ordered curbside pickup and my bowl was missing a couple of the items requested, and items I did request were barely sprinkled on there. I pay for chicken & I barely get a scoop it seams. I think i only ate 4 chopped pieces, & maybe 3 pieces of grilled peppers? My lettuce was missing. So its pretty frustrating. Reason the review is being made is because this isn't the first time we ordered online and that happened. I eat at this location maybe once a week. I have become a regular and have never had any issues but my usual is a bowl with rice, chicken, beans and lettuce and this was long dark brown hair in my bowl... now my hair is very blonde and curly so I knew it could not be my hair... although I really enjoy Qdoba and I am a regular, I was definitely not satisfied with this visit and completely lost my appetite after finding that hair mixed in my bowl. read more

I've got to say Qdoba is one of my favorite quick, "fast food"-esque restaurants. Great chips and queso (I think they add lime juice to the chips which adds the perfect tang with the salt), and of course the burritos are awesome as well. I'm glad they've recently added whole wheat tortillas and brown rice for a little bit of a healthier option (as healthy as a burrito the size of your face can be, that is). My usual is the queso burrito with chicken or pulled pork, but I've recently tried the mango salsa and it is fantastic. I wish it wasn't just a seasonal item. It's the perfect ratio of sweet to spicy, especially if you add some more salsa in there. Qdoba is quick, convenient and offers some pretty tasty options! I love this place. Today the food was good but it was a mess. The person cleaning off the tables just pushed trash on to the floor. It's fine if it's just a few crumbs. My boyfriend and I ordered curbside, everything was literally on the receipt. I got a impossible fajita bowl, and added stuff to it which was all on the receipt, they didn't put any of my add ins, nor did they put the impossible meat! They brought us two empty cups , which had receipts on them with what we wanted and he literally to our faces said he didn't know what we wanted. WHEN IT WAS STUCK ONTO THE CUP!!!! They either can't read or just suck at their job. My boyfriend had to go in to get us drinks and to ask to put the meat on. That's absolutely ridiculous. Then when I called the manager he said he wasn't allowed to bring drinks out bc of covid- which is not what the guy who brought the food said, and also doesn't make sense because they are able to make our food but they can't put liquid into a cup??? I ordered a Craft Two with a quesadilla & nachos. 2 different employees were helping me so the one that made the nachos apparently didn't know it was part of the craft Two and made a full size. When I went to pay and told the cashier it was supposed to be part of the craft Two he had them remake the nachos in a smaller size and threw the bigger one away instead of just giving me the one that had already been made. I was like, so you would rather waste food instead of just giving me a bigger size?! Absolutely no customer service here! Not sure if I will ever come back to this location.
