Stop by the store on a weekday to get lunch. It was pretty nice inside, lots of seating space available. They had all the ingredients available. There was no line, so I got to order right away. The associate was quick to serve and do the checkout. They do not charge extra for guacamole, so the price is slightly cheaper. I ordered my usual bowl with cheese, lettuce, corn, pickled onion, chicken, and guacamole. The ingredients tasted okay to me, sort of generic. Pickled onions were really big chunks, would have been nice if they were thinner and smaller.

Qdoba and I have had an interesting relationship throughout the years. I used to be a die hard Chipotle fan; then I favored Moe's. But now I find myself gravitating to Qdoba for a variety of reasons. Flores guac and queso on your entrees as opposed to Chipotle's overpriced options. Qdoba and Moe's offer a large variety of options and toppings, but I feel the quality and care Qdoba puts into their food is superior. I have yet to have a bad Qdoba experience and it is always an affordable and delectable option whenever I crave a fast casual Spanish meal. The service is always kind and patient as well.

Guac and queso at no charge?! Say whaaaaat. This is actually my very first time trying Qdoba. I've always gone to Chipotle BUT my loyalty is now being tested... This location is located off of Route 17 South. The menu is customizable and you basically build your own bowl, burrito, salad, tacos, or quesadilla. I chose the grilled steak bowl (~$13). My bowl included.. Base: Cilantro lime rice Protein: Grilled Steak Queso: 3-cheese dip Toppings: Mild salsa, fajita veggies, black beans, pickled red onions, guacamole, street corn, tortilla strips, sour cream, cortija cheese For the value, the meal was worth it. They don't skimp on portions. The ingredients were hot and fresh! The grilled steak was well seasoned and tender. I appreciated that they were cut into big chunks. Compared to Chipotle, they already have bonus points for not charging for guac and queso. They also have a lot more options for meat and toppings.

We ordered the surf and turf here, and it was very flavorful ! The shrimp and steak were both tender and delicious. The menu offers a great variety of options, and everything tasted fresh. There's plenty of indoor seating and parking outside.

The ambience of the place was very interesting and they definitely tried to put a lot into their space. The food was good! The outside sitting area was nice and I liked how try did a good effort to take you away from the fact that this place is situated off a major highway and a major road. Guacamole was freshly made at your table, drinks tasted good, dinner tasted good as well as dessert! THE BAD. The service kind of began to lack by the time we got dessert. Once we were served dessert, our server was no where to be found to get the check and settle up for the night. The only other complaint is the pork and beans side was just ok and a couple of dishes were a bit pricier than I have gotten it elsewhere. Overall, the flavors were good and there was enough food. For the eyes and my stomach! I would go back!!!

I will copy and paste this review across the Park Ridge and Mahwah locations so emphasize my appreciate for their consistency in providing great Mexican food. If you are consistently performing, Linguini will take care of you. Like I've taken care of many others. I will bring you to the top with me. If you backstab me. Oh if you come for me at the top, you will reach an abyss so deep you may end up digging to China. Don't test me. I'm not that guy. Anyways, I've tried a lot from Azteca. Most of what they've got is a 4/4.5 out of 5 but I'm rounding up for the full experience. Phenomenal price point. Variety of food that all comes out well. Performs well in restaurant and when the food travels. Friendly staff. And local business of which I support. I suffer from GGS - Good Guy Syndrome, sorry not sorry. My motha, bless her soul. I legit mean bless her soul. Be nice. Pray. Bow down to her. She doesn't eat much food but she even loved the taco salad here so much that she asked to go again. So much protein, so well seasoned. Just as their other options showcase as well. My personal favs are the Kash Burrito and the, what I'd call "trademark" Cod Burrito. Never have seen it elsewhere like this. The wrap is toasted wonderfully, great rice, great salsa. I mean this place just does it real well. I've had tacos, appetizers, desserts. Never let down. El Azteca is consistently good. Constantly pushing out quality product. Is it the best Mexican I've had? No. But it's the most underrated. Being a consistent 4, makes you a five in my books. It's like that girl that's occasionally a 6 or occasionally an 9... you can't bring her home. But that girl that's consistently a 7 or an 8? You let her meet the fam. I don't where I'm going with this one. All I'll say is STOP. Stop going to Chipotle, Bubbakoo's, etc. when you could be supporting a better quality and friendlier priced location in El Azteca. Thank you in advance. I will be watching - LB.

This place can get very busy. From time to time they would offer food tasting events where the chef gets super creative with the meals. One of my favorite events was Mediterranean meet Arre Sinaloa flavors. Everything was so good but my favorite 2 dishes were the Risotto Verde which contained confit wild mushrooms, shaved summer truffles, and queso manchego. This dish left my mouth watering for more. The Wagyu filet mignon came with potato pave, glazed carrots in a romesco sauce. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The drinks here are also really good, especially the margaritas! They have street parking available but be ready to look around for awhile as its in a busy area. I definitely recommend everyone to give it a try!

The guac was good but could use a bit more salt, i wish they had chiccarons as chips instead of tortillas but the chips were great so wasn't a big issue. overall though expensive for some pretty average guac in my opinion. the seabass crudo was great, i loved the sauce and the mango went great with it. Super fresh, super tasty. Unfortunately the tacos were a mess, when it arrived the tortillas were so soggy that they were just coming apart, the meat was also falling off and overall the presentation was horrendous. the tacos weren't balanced as well, there were some with too much meat and then some with basically only cheese. overall flavor was not birria im typically use to but it was solid. honestly these tacos are probably the worst tacos i've ever had, for $20 it's a travesty. overall for a place nearby i'd come to get some drinks and the crudo and esquite because those were fantastic. but i'll pass on their tacos hard.

They are renowned for their vibrant flavors, bold spices, and diverse dishes catering to all tastes using ingredients such as tomatoes, onions, garlic, and cilantro. Authentic Mexican food is more than tacos and salsa. The Garden State is hailed as one of the most diverse states when it comes to food, hosting some of the best Mexican restaurants on the East Coast. Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. The reservation was easily made by calling Mariachi Grill, located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it's BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area. Our server Lisa with her outgoing personality and her desire to make our visit enjoyable, which we didn't feel rushed. Good experience overall, which we can recommend.
