So we were coming back from shopping and instead of going to Chipotle, we decided to try this place. The concept is pretty similar to Chipotle, but the ingredients and flavors are quite different. They have more meat options like shrimp, lamb, and salmon. Also around 6 different dips -- I really liked the spicy one. You can pick 3 out of 6, though the quantity is pretty small. Then all the usual veggies, cream, sauces, and toppings. I took the lamb while my wife got the grilled chicken. The lamb was really good -- 4 small circular pieces loaded with herbs and sauces. Overall, the taste was honestly amazing. What I didn't like was the staff attitude. I understand fast food places are busy, but instead of explaining the ingredients properly, they were rushing everything. Also, unlike Chipotle, they don't really give extra rice easily -- felt like I was asking for something premium And seriously... does no one maintain cleanliness in fast food chains anymore? I was in pursuit for those d*mn "Peter Chip" plushie key chains. Unfortunately, they had run out, but with this trip I discovered that the Wayne CAVA is a really good location. All the staff were friendly and nice. I had asked them about the Hot Harissa Meal promotion and they let me know how quickly the plushies went, but they were cool about it. I love CAVA. The salads are great and I think they are pretty healthy. It's a good option amid all the fast food restaurants. This CAVA seemed a little jumbled during the ordering process but the employees were polite. I usually order a salad with the braised lamb and the yogurt dill dressing which is very good. Always got the pita chips, they are great with the salad. The assortment of ice teas and lemonades are sneaky good as well. The price is about what you'd expect and the salad is pretty filling. Just your typical Cava, nothing fancy going on here. The food was great, i really have only had Cava once before so i wanted to stop in again. I tried their new spicy chicken as the protein and it was good. I love Mediterranean food and this is quick and delicious. Prices are reasonable for this sort of chain, it was about $11-$13/ bowl. The tables were kind of dirty but the restaurant was crowded and it seemed like they could have used another person or two on staff. I've come here multiple times now to pick up lunch and it's always delicious! The staff are kind yet efficient. When I order lunch, sometimes theres a line but they do a great job of keep it moving. I tried Cava for the first time after hearing about it for a while. I normally eat bowls with protein at Chipotle or Q'doba, but I decided to go full vegan with my custom bowl. I also got a free side of pita bread & purchased pita chips to try as well. I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful and filling the grain bowl was. The brown rice was really soft and cooked well. I did remove a star because the dip/ spread I selected for the bowl was missing. The pita chips tasted great and evenly seasoned. They were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside and not too oily. I can't comment on the customer service or the ambiance of this Cava because this meal was delivered to me. Overall, I do think this establishment is worth a try. I would definitely make a habit of eating here in the future. read more

First time at Cava and it was as delicious and fresh as my friends have told me! Only reason I knocked them a star is because in this location or particular time I came, all the servers were too busy having conversations and eating their lunch behind the counter to take my order. I waited a good 10 minutes and the line behind me got significantly longer by 3 more people by the time they finally took my order. That being said, the staff was friendly once they got to me and since it was my first time there, they were helpful at making recommendations for my order. My Harissa chicken/avocado without the spice was perfect! I also tried some of their hummus and their garlic dressing on the side and some Pita. The Pita was very soft and yummy. Joining the Cava train finally after hearing it so many times as the Mediterranean Chipotle. Anyone who knows me knows that I love these types of concepts. Blaze, Chiptole, Poke, you name it. Being able to choose and create my own personal tasty dish is just amazing. Although a bit more pricey compared to Chipotle (although getting a bit closer sadly...), they make up for it by having lots of fresh and flavorful ingredients. Considering this is my first time having Cava I wasnt sure what to expect. I ordered via mobile app for pick up. The food was good I will be coming back but there was something so terribly salty in the bowl that I feel like I've a salt burn on my tongue. I also noticed a couple of items I ordered missing from my actual bowl. Fortunately I dont think it was anything I paid extra for but if they were out I would have preferred to be told and not surprised since it was originally for to go. CAVA is my favorite fast casual place to eat. I discovered CAVA dips years ago when I went to a yoga event and I'm so happy that they are opening up new locations and this specific location is so close to me. Everything here is delicious and fresh! For the base - I usually get arugula, brown rice, & lentil. For the dips & spreads - you have up to 3 choices and I typically pick the harissa, tzatziki and crazy feta (don't forget your side of pita). For protein - the braised lamb is amazing but it is extra $, so I typically just get grilled chicken and honestly still so delicious because there is just so much flavor to the bowl after I ask them for all the toppings afterwards haha ;) For the dressing, I really like the Skhug, yogurt dill and garlic. You really can't go with anything wrong here, I'm obsessed. read more

The young man was moving so quickly that 1) he put items in the bowl that I specifically requested to remove as I cannot eat them 2) dropped half the product out from the serving spoons before it even reached the bowl (I have never received such an empty bowl... see picture ) 3) charged me for avocado that I didn't even order or receive. He was so incredibly rude when I asked him to remove the item (feta) that I cannot have. He also was rude when I asked for the pita (which I usually don't have to ask for..) and rudely tossed it in the bag not even in its proper wrapping. This place is good, but it's hit or miss depending on the time of day you go and how motivated the employees are. I would recommend coming here for lunch. Their food is generally fresh around this time. Dinner is another story. I've been here on times when it feels like everything has been sitting out all day. Let me preface that the food at Cava is actually dang tasty. I ordered Meredith's Spicy Lamb and the Chicken + RightRice and both were amazing. I ended up eating them hours after I ordered them and they held up really well. Portions are also crazy large! Easily can be split into two meals. The service was actually pretty disappointing. I asked if I could have a Meredith Spicy Lamb since I saw it on the Cava website. Both of the workers were really confused. It appears that there weren't recipe cards for this dish. However, they asked me to read the ingredients so they could make the bowl and they also took a picture of what the website advertised which was pretty nice. When I finished paying, I asked if I could have a bag. I was given a bag that a couple of grains of rice that were stuck on the bag. The worker opened the bag and then walked away. I was really confused because a) I was given a dirty bag b) there was no attempt or at least offer if I wanted to put the bowls in the bag. It was a bizarre experience to say the least. I would also to be careful when walking in the restaurant when it's raining out. I went during the weekend there was heavy rain, and I could feel my feet losing traction as I was walking towards the counter. The food at Cava is amazing and is definitely a must try, but the service I experienced towards the end was pretty dismissal. read more

First time trying Cava and I'm definitely hooked. It was really good! I had a grain and greens bowl. Everything was very fresh. The rice was a long grain rice that was delicious. I got falafel and chicken for proteins. The chicken seemed to be a mix of dark and white meat and I wasn't a huge fan of it. Falafel was delicious. The sauces and hummus were good. The pita was so good! It was fried though so it was more like chips. I couldn't stop eating it. I had the Apple pineapple drink everyone talked about and that I thought was gross. Not sure what anyone likes about it! The chocolate chip cookie for dessert was so delicious. Can't wait to come back and try another bowl. read more
