I've been a loyal customer at this QFC on 145th for 18 years. Never had a single issue always a great experience. That changed today. I decided to try the pickup service for the first time. I pulled into the designated pickup area and stayed in my car the entire time while I worked on placing my order through the app. At no point did I leave my vehicle. Within minutes, an employee came out and gestured at the signage. I acknowledged it with a thumbs up I was aware of where I was. Shortly after, a second employee named Jesse approached and asked me to leave. When I requested to speak with a manager, he told me he was the manager. His name tag, however, read "Assistant Manager." To be clear: I was sitting in my car, in the pickup area, attempting to use QFC's own pickup service. That's exactly what the space is for. Instead of offering any assistance, two employees came out to confront me, and one misrepresented his role when I asked for management. After 18 years of shopping at this location without a single negative experience, this interaction was disappointing. The lack of customer service awareness and the dishonesty about a job title were completely inappropriate. I'll be reaching out to someone above store level about this. QFC still rocks in my eyes. What could have been a disaster turned into a major success. Somehow my order for a graduation party of over 200 people was scheduled for the wrong day. When I showed up to pick up the order and it wasn't there panic set in. With the help of the front end lead Joyce, the manager Ashley and Celeste in the deli this team pulled off a miracle. Not only did they help me shop for what was in the store ready to go, Celeste came in from home to put together some of the most wonderful trays and delivered them to Bellevue College for our programs graduation. The students, their friends and family all devoured the amazing food, it was somehow the perfect amount. I'm not sure they fully understand the impact they made on so many people, especially me. Their kidness and generosity is something we should all strive for. Anyway, I just want to say thank you with all my heart. read more

I'm usually pretty hesitate about buying flowers or plants from grocery stores. I was blown away with the selection they had at this location. My staff loved the succulents and were shocked when I told them I got them at our local QFC. However, I am giving them a 4 star because the lady watering the plants was talking to costumers and not wearing a mask while she stood next to a sign asking costumers to wear their masks. read more

Stopped by QFC as I got lotto hysteria. They have a lottery machine which you can put in money to get quick pick tickets of your choosing. That is if you prefer letting a machine do the picking for you. In my case, it wasn't. If you head to the customer service counter, you can buy tickets there as well including picking your own numbers. There is also a Coinstar and Redbox machine here. The store itself is the main anchor of a strip mall off 148th Ave near Bellevue College. Parking is plentiful. This QFC feels smaller with less of a selection compared to its other Bellevue counterparts. Visually it is looking a bit more newer these days compared to the Crossroads one I most frequent however. Kind of the same feeling I have with Marketime Foods in my last review of it being the only game in the locale it is in. It is not the biggest and bestest in Bellevue, but certainly a QFC worth visiting if you live in the neighborhood. In this part of Bellevue, there really is no other grocery store option unless you feel like going to the Crossroads or Factoria area. read more

We switched from Burrell Drug to this QFC pharmacy on 145pl in Bellevue as B Drug stopped offering prescription my mother used. This team is always prompt. If there are changes with insurance they inform us so I have a chance to address it with our insurance. They do their best to accommodate special requests. We like that we get a text when prescription is ready for pickup. My mom then drives and picks it up. We have been using this QFC for over a year now and so far we have had very good experience. read more

Came here when they were out of apple cider at the other QFC in Factoria. I just really wanted to pop bottles on New Years Eve, and since I don't drink alcohol, I really had to get apple cider to pop bottles like that Lil Wayne & Birdman music video. This is located in a more low key residential neighborhood than commercial so there's usually things still in stocked. I've been to this QFC a few times because my friend lives close to it and we often stop by for random groceries. I like it. It's clean, simple, and they have great self checkout stations at the front. You can punch in your phone number for the rewards program. You should sign up for one since you get discounts. There is also plenty of parking here too. No complaints, really. read more

This is the review for the bakery and cake decorator, Suzanne. We ordered a Mickey Mouse 1/2 sheet for our son's 3rd birthday. The combo was whipped cream icing, chocolate cake, and raspberry jam filling. When we picked it up, the cake was STUNNING! It far surpassed my expectations for a grocery store cake! All the kid's at the party were continuously trying to stick their forks in and the parents kept asking us where it's from. So pleased! And will keep returning for our kids' birthdays! Tips: - Order the whipped icing over the standard. It is fluffier, not as sweet as the standard icing, and balances an already sweet cake nicely. - If you're in Bellevue and wondering which QFC to order from, definitely go to this one vs Crossroads. I love shopping at this particular QFC, they are wonderful. Staff is the most helpful, pleasant, nice of any grocery. I am disabled and use the motorized shopping cart. Staff always helps me reach things and helps me unload groceries in to my car (unlike other stores). The store is clean, bright, and well kept. Not as large as many other QFCs, but they have everything I need. However, QFC prices are more expensive than other groceries on most items, which is not great for my budget. Parking is easy to get (they have several Handicapped spaces right in front). Great place. read more

I've been the duchess of this QFC for awhile -- namely because I'm walking distance from the store and it's 24-hours. Both of those are pros in my book, and what make it 4 stars. The graveyard staff in particular is incredibly chill and always recognize/acknowledge my boyfriend and I as we wander in during the wee hours of the morning. The two times I've realized I've purchased damaged/past expiration goods [which has always been during graveyard shift] they are quick and trusting when I go and replace whatever I purchased with the same thing -- I've had experiences at other stores where they immediately get suspicious when you bring something back in the store, but these guys are incredibly friendly and professional. And they tolerate my banter, and know I love ice cream. As far as having a grocery store next door goes -- I love living near this QFC. And QFC always has sales on ice cream... read more

I'm not too picky when it comes to groceries, I just want it to be clean, easy to navigate, have a friendly staff and maybe some food. This QFC only had food. It is set up to confuse you and make people run into you. The check out counters cause a log jam so that you can't get from one aisle to another without having to say excuse me to people who are trying to avoid eye contact and ignore you. The check out lady doesn't say a word to you until she says your total and then as your walking out with your cart, you stop to let someone by an old man "Ahem"s behind you all impatiently like. Do you want me to run people over old man!??!?!?! Okay, maybe it was the people inside the QFC and not the QFC itself that made me have the most frustrating grocery shopping experience I've ever had. Five stars for Mary, Stephanie, Venus, and Michael (there's another guy at night in the produce section). The rest of the staff aren't worth talking to. It seems like this once upon a time great neighborhood grocery store has really taken a dive with regards to their handling of customers. Four times in the past 6 months I've purchased items which I discovered were damaged upon my arrival home. When I've returned them, management chooses to sneer at the "extra" work involved in assisting me, the one who pays to keep their lights on and paycheck coming. It seems like they spend more time entertaining their visiting friends than anyone else. They even talk poorly amongst their fellow work associates, but can't be bothered to answer a customers question. So here's to being a bother to your day!! This place opened up around 2002 & replaced the old Red Apple store & i've been coming to it ever since. But just because you are friendly with the workers here, does not mean that this place is worth 5 stars! Service, food prep, safety & satisfaction is everything! The staff are super jolly people but there are some that are completely rude & unprofessional including the managers. Inside it gets pretty crowded for a smaller store. The lines can be very long & stretch out into the isle's, causing a hazard problem. There are hardly any checkers or people helping at U-scan. The place is most of the time clean. There's been times when people drop breakables & don't bother to tell the store employee's. I've seen some accidents while shopping here but overall its a clean store. There's not alot of inventory here because of store size & they keep removing more products that i tend to buy, causing me to shop less here & more at Safeway.There's been a few times when a item i buy is completely out of stock & it takes over a week to get it in. Not good. Deli: Certain people in the deli are nice but sadly the old Asian lady doesn't know what shes doing & i try to avoid getting things made by her since she put plastic in my sandwich. The sandwiches taste great but are over priced. Everything else in the deli taste like s***. They are constantly changing their recipe because of how awful it taste, especially the chicken tenders. A few people in the deli have been there for awhile but this store is constantly going through new workers! 2/3 times there's only been 1-2 people working when its busy. I've waited there for a max of 15 minutes & people have completely walked off & left. And the deli is tiny! The hot case is small and hardly anyone buys food from it. Parking: 0/5. Worst parking lot i've been in. Its small, hardly no spots available & I've seen accidents, horrible accidents in this parking lot involving cars and people walking. Its really hard finding spots & constantly people are walking in front of your car without looking. People have almost hit me & its been frequently. You need to keep your eyes out when walking between cars or even when crossing to get into the front door. Also shoppers keep leaving carts in parking spots and no one inside the store is picking them up. The cart racks are filled to the brim with them! Price: Over priced on probably 75% of what they sell. Sale items are always nice & happen frequently so i recommend watching to see when stuff goes on sale because i bet you a week later it will if it isn't now. Sadly this store has the worst close out items ever! I say this because one, they mark closed out items only 10 cents to 50 cents cheaper & most items are natural and what i tend to buy. Not happy about that, considering its a small store. Produce: Every time i shop for fruit, the berries always have mold on them. You seriously cannot even eat them! I've wasted probably 500 dollars this year on berries that went bad 1-2 days after i bought them. The produce section is one of the smallest too and its hard to navigate around with so many people shopping there. The quality isnt there but at least they keep the department clean! Meat & Fish: Great group of men who are very friendly & polite when you come over to the meat department. They help you out with questions, give you free samples. These are people you can trust to make good choices for you. But the bad part is that alot of the seafood doesn't get sold & it ends up going on managers special. The quality isn't the best either & ive had a bad batch of seafood before. Starbucks: Its always busy, over priced drinks that attract snobby people. I've bumped into a guy holding a latte & he was a complete D**** Bag to me. The girls that work there are nice & get the job done but i don't ever have a drink there. Before Starbucks went in, we had Seattle's best coffee. Curse you Starbucks. Bakery: Decent cakes & treats. Most of which aren't even baked there. 3/4 of the treats there are shipped in. So not so great & over priced as usual. Managers special baked items are always in the back of the store too which i find weird because the Bakery is at the front of the store. Florist: The flowers at this location tend to die quickly, like someone wasn't taking care of them. They never have a fresh selection of flowers and the department is tiny! Also no one is ever in the floral & waiting for someone to help you is not worth the 10-15 minute wait. Overall, i dont like shopping at QFC. The people here are great but Quality is in your name QFC. You need to step up your game! If you don't, you lose people like me to Safeway which actually has what im looking for at good prices. read more

I wouldn't normally post a review, but after my experience, I had to. My daughter and I stopped by QFC in Lake Hills Friday evening to pick up dinner. I was waiting in line at self check when the cashier called us up to ring our items. I paid and still had a $10 balance. I hadn't realized my food benefits didn't cover the hot soup we'd chosen. I had no other money and was starting to panic. The cashier could see this and took out his wallet and slid his personal card through the machine. My daughter and I were visibly moved by his kindness (an ugly cry in QFC for the win!). The kindness, compassion, and generosity this cashier showed us came at a time when we needed it most. Thank you so much for helping me make an embarrassing situation more manageable. I appreciate it so much. read more

I agree with Megan, this is not a good grocery store. At night it is a ghost town, I work for a nearby, competing (and WAY better) grocery store and was often appalled at the service I'd receive there. The "do-it-yourself" lanes were often closed, and of course when they were the 4 people who were shopping in the store at the time were all checking out. I found out of date product more times than I care to remember. On one occasion we bought some organic tomato soup that was six months out of date. Typically not a huge deal, but when I went back, receipt in hand, for a refund or exchange, the supervisor acted like I was scamming them or something. Really? A box of tomato soup? Finally I made him walk back to the section where he discovered, much to his frustration, the entire line of that company's product was out of date and dusty. He gave me 2 boxes of a competitor's brand. The addition of Starbucks to QFC was nice, I'd stop before school quite often for a latte. But besides that, if it weren't literally a stone's throw away from where I lived, I wouldn't have ever gone in a second time. read more

They don't want to sell me any drinks that are considered non-alcoholic and less than 0.5%. The guys name was Brian and this happened September 1st at 12:09am. I asked him to talk to the manager and he wasn't taking me seriously. 1 minute later he finally calls him over and the manager said the same. These guys need to get fired. He scanned it and it didn't say that it had an age restriction. Need to contact a branch manager... Some other shoppers told me that the service here is always terrible especially late at night. This is for the Bakery, NOT the entire store. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. First of all, not trying to be a mean person, but the girl who took my order acted like she didn't even have a pulse....Got the order done, payed for it. Came by a day later to make a little change on the cake order, same girl, still no pulse, and asked if maybe she should be writing this change down.....so she started writing. Pick up day....my husband picked up the cake because I was with the girls at a hotel. Now, he should have looked at the cake to make sure it was right, but he didn't. He just assumed it was. When I got home I looked and thought, how did they get our half sheet cake into that box? Well.....wrong cake! Took it back to the bakery, and got our cake, and did check but not good enough. Got home, and while it was a pretty cake, the flowers colors were ALMOST right. We got the red roses but NO black roses. I was very specific, "TWICE", when I placed the order. I'm just too tired to go back, AGAIN, or worry about how they didn't get the order on point. JEEEEEEEEZZZZ.....I hope it tastes good! read more

I've never ate from Deli here. But, I had a starving teen on hand. Upon request, I was able to learn ingredients from stickers. Two-3 deli workers were observed at 6:30-7. Starbucks has few seats & they close at 7. We borrowed their tables & cleaned up. We tried chicken breast, special diet approved, kale salad & potsticker salad was decent, but had few ingredients I could do without. Those are soy bean oil, sugar, canola oil, you know the popular prepared food additives. Chicken breast was clear. Lady warned it up upon request. We ended up getting more of potsticker salad ( VEGAN ) & chicken for my starving teen to go. It worked. Hunger filled quickly. read more

Be-on-your-toes pricing: Organic bananas under the cheaper price sign, meat prices tagged by the package not the pound, expensive ginger ale sliding over to the cheaper sign, 4 kinds of teeney tomatoes at who-knows which prices. The good stuff at this store isn't cheap, and you should check whether the item matches the code on the sign. Too much work for me anymore, even for a quick pickup-one-item run. read more

Love my neighborhood QFC! The bakery and florists are awesome. They have done my flowers for 2 family events. Clorissa was able to put together table centers pieces that were better priced than any florist could have possibly done and made amazing centers that were commented on by many guests. She spent a lot of time on them and had many helpful suggestions. Bakery made cake for my daughters Bat Mitzvah. Again so helpful with suggestions. They suggested wedding cake in her colors, pink and blue, and it was the highlight of her party. Everyone was surprised when I told them it was QFC cake, and not a specialty bakery. Today they made my day again when they put together 24 minion cupcakes within 5 minutes for last minute camp birthday party celebration. Checkers are always friendly and helpful too. read more

This QFC is right across the street for me, but I would rather drive up the road to Fred Meyer to grocery shop if I can. This QFC seems dirty to me and kind of behind the times. They are pretty spendy, even their generic brand! If I absolutely have to, I'll go here, but if I have time I'll go else where. With stores sprinkled throughout the Bellevue area, QFC is my favorite choice for groceries. I regularly walk here from my house and always find this somewhat busy neighborhood store to be clean and loaded with sales deals that change regularly. All in all a good store. Cashiers Katie, Mary & Stephanie are always super nice as is Venus who always is singing when helping you. The pharmacy staff are always excellent. Decent Veggie/Fruit section and organics. Deli area is also good. They tend towards the busy but I'm rarely in a rush so it doesn't bother me. My only downside is QFC is generally a bit more expensive that other stores. read more

I won't go here anymore. Swung by after night skiing and tried to buy some food a bottle of scotch. It was 9:30 and the liquor cabinet was locked. The employees wouldn't unlock it for me and then lock it back up. I couldn't believe it. Lazy punks. It's not my fault some idiot decided to put the liquor aisle agaist the wall between two entry doors and now people grab a bottle or three and bolt. It's not like I was going to grab a bottle and run off without my kid, for crying out loud. I let them put away the stuff I had in my cart and left. Ice cream and milk for the kids, etc. I forgot to call anybody's attention to the shopperless cart making its way down the frozen food aisle, so maybe the ice cream melted before anyone got to it. I hope so. My review would be so much better with swear words. Oh well. Thank god Fred Meyer is open again. read more

We use to walk here every day for exercise and the great people. Awhile ago there was significant turn-over. Many of the friendly familiar faces have stayed around which bumped up my rating a bit. There's also plenty of new great people there but unfortunately it seems a few people have started there simply to collect a paycheck and do as little as possible for customers. The produce is very good and neatly trimmed. The people in the meat department are nice. It seems like when the run a sale on a cut of meat the taste or texture goes down. Their artisan bread is great but I do wish they'd sell things like cinnamon rolls or cakes that use sugar rather than hfcs. read more
