I've gotten them for years when I lived in Everett and in another city where I work. The Bothell Safeway bagels are absolute trash. They are overcooked and not soft. The jalapeño cheddar ones specifically are not good. They always look burnt and not a lot of jalapeños like at other Safeways. I've tried to get other types of bagels there instead and it's the same over cooked bagel. The donuts are also lacking, which I didn't realize could happen-I thought a donut is a donut especially from safeway. Nope. We now get our donuts elsewhere and I get bagels from Haggen in Woodinville or at the Safeway location near my work. Sad because this is what's close to me.

THEN I asked her not to bag the bags too heavy because obviously I'm VERY PREGNANT. And she's stuffing stuff into the bags at the end. I go to make sure they're not heavy before I leave and sure enough, some of them are too heavy for me to pick up. The only plus is the nice lady I asked for help. She helped me fix the bags and get them to my car. I'm angry, I'm sad, and I'm overwhelmed. I love Fred Meyer but now I don't want to go back.

After we waited about 10 minutes in front of the oysters Brian yelled across the seafood area asking if we were ready and we said yes. He never walked over and waited to hear what we wanted all the way from the fish area which already made my wife uncomfortable and mentions to me "he seems like he's going to be rude" by just his demeanor. Once finally approached I pointed out there were 3 large bags in the oyster tank and the bag that was open was 1/2 way sticking out of the water and i specifically asked for a dozen from any of the other bags that were completely submurged to avoid any potential food poisoning. and his response was a rude as can be "Nope, I'm not opening any other bags if you want oysters you are picking them from that bag". I was mind blown and in shock as a long time customer being spoken to like this was insane. For years even before this was "Town & Country" we have been shopping here and have always had such a pleasant experience with every encounter except this guy. It's located in a fairly large complex, so there's plenty of space for everyone even when it's busy. I came here because I had a brow tint appointment next door at The Lash Lounge and had some extra time to kill before and after, so I figured I'd wander through and check it out. I really liked this QFC, it's noticeably bigger than a lot of the other locations I've been to, with wide aisles and a solid selection across the board. It never felt cramped or crowded even while browsing around, which made the whole experience pretty relaxed. Overall a really solid grocery store, and it's nice knowing there's one this spacious right next to other spots I already visit. I'd definitely come back, especially if I'm already in the area running errands.

I was shocked that she threw the bag at us and acted like nothing. What a crazy experience. I will never go through her lane again - she can keep that negative energy to herself! Extremely rude today. Her response to me commenting about her throwing the bag was horrible - she was like "I could see how throwing the bag was misleading". It was misleading alright because I thought you were a nice woman all this time but for whatever reason she thought that abusing a customer was appropriate behavior.

I found a Star mango drink and Bikaji manbhavan soanpapdi (sweet treat) that I decided to purchase and try out. Checking out was straightforward and the cashier quick and professional.
