This is the closest grocery store to my house and I LOVE it here. I definitely don't do my weekly shopping here since it is pricier, but it's so nice if I need to grab a few things, deli items, pharmacy, or a treat. A big mistake I make frequently- the pharmacy is closed 1:30-2 every day. Somehow I forget this all the time. Make note! Their deli is amazing. Such fun dips, sandwiches, anything you could imagine. Always crowd pleasers at festivals, outdoor concerts, picnics, etc. The pharmacy and checkout staff are amazing. They are so warm and kind and always a pleasure to interact with. We came by for produce. They have plenty of options! You can spend quite some time. Beautifully displayed. :) I also walked around and discovered they have some kind of novelty stuff. Wow. Just wow. Got here at 7pm and waited at the bakery for help since the sign said "we're here to help you between 7am -8pm!" And I waited. And I waited. And I finally called the store to ask if someone can help and someone came up....after 23 minutes of waiting. But they couldn't help because the bakers weren't there. I was a little confused why she couldn't just take my cake order, but whatever. Then Nick came up. Nick the store manager who informed me "the bakery is open from 5 or 6am". Okay cool - but when do you close? He told me 6 or 7pm. I kindly suggested (and I sincerely mean kindly) that they update the sign....i just wasted almost 25 minutes after all...and Nick, in the rudest most condescending almost sarcastic voice told me "no I will not be doing that" - the tone was as if he was appalled I suggested they simply update the hours. I asked if he was the store manager and he replied yes. I told him "okay wow you guys are super friendly thanks!" In a still friendly voice and left while holding back sarcastic laughter and tears. Nick is a joke and has absolutely no business being a manager of a store and engaging with customers. Seriously just update your sign! It's not hard. Two minutes to update a sign could have saved me 25 minutes and you act like what I suggested was absolutely asinine. Between this and the outrageous prices of the store we will never come back. OK, let me first off start by saying Hagan is the high priced spread in town. Having said that there's a reason they are, it's because they are a gourmet shopping experience. I refer to them as my Disney land of shopping. They have an incredible deli selection, they will make you a sandwich, you can pick up chicken, Parmesan, hit the salad bar, the olive/pepper bar, the cheese selection is to die for, and if you're into creating a charcuterie board your imagination will run wild in here. Why is it the sandwiches in the deli case along with the lox cream cheese bagels are kept overnight and sold the next day? The Philadelphia beef steak sandwiches and roast beef have dry dark brown on edges.This could be a beautiful store. The bakery is good. The beer and wine selection is amazing along the freezer, etc.. It's a little bit more money but it's never crowded.Today my last straw is Sunday June 22, 2025. I called early evening. I believe it was about 6:30 pm they were out of fish and chips.Does that mean there was no one there to cook it or they just can't figure out how to run the place? Yes I've sent an email with no response. I've spoken to the deli manager last trip maybe seven months back. I go there every single time looking forward to a lox bagel. Every time the last three trips to Woodinville they are leftover dry and nasty. The woman I spoke to the other day that was working the deli case at 10 AM when I went to get a lox bagel and cream cheese. She just said well it doesn't have a sell by date.True! Look, Haggen is probably never going to be the cheapest option. If you do all your grocery shopping here, you're getting a ton less than you could at other stores, especially if you don't stick to sale items. One star off for the premium pricing. Having said that, there's still a lot I like about this store that keeps me coming back. If you're in a time crunch for an event, it's hard to beat the convenience of a grocery that also has a wine shop, cheese shop, deli, and nice florist all in one (and Mercury's, if you need some espresso to power through!). It is a bit like Albertsons' version of Whole Foods. There are a few things that are actually a pretty good deal, like made to order hot breakfast sandwiches and frequent Snoqualmie ice cream pints at 3.99 each! Pro tip: some of the hot bar items are available pre-packed in the grab & go fridge a lot cheaper than the per-pound pricing. I love the pharmacy staff, they're wonderful. I also love seeing all the garden/floral stuff out front. Again, not the cheapest, but they do have some less-common plants and flowers sometimes, and the floral bouquets are really pretty and fresh. They currently have hanging fuchsia baskets at $45, but they're *enormous* (some are at least 3' from top to bottom), mostly are harder to find colors, and everything generally looks pretty healthy. They were a lifesaver for a last-minute beautiful corsage and boutonnière set, too! Super convenient location in downtown Woodinville, near where Molbak's used to be (boo to the developers that killed it!), plenty of parking, and surrounded by lots of other convenient stores and restaurants, like Petsmart next door. read more

Every time I've gone to Haggen for the past two weeks I've been confronted by a guy asking for signatures on initiatives that would hurt LGBT+ youth, reduce access to to counseling in schools, and even allow for for genital inspections of girls as young as eleven. I contacted Haggen about this and they said that there was nothing they could do because the property owner allows it. I hope that Haggen (and their parent company Albertsons) can communicate to the property owner that this is driving away business because as a queer person and someone who cares about the well-being of kids I do not feel comfortable shopping there at the moment. read more

Love this supermarket. Every time I go to Woodinville, I always stop in. The fruits and veggies are always very fresh. Their deli counter always looks very inviting too. Their baked goods are among the best when it comes to supermarkets, it hard to resist. I always buy some kind of treat to bring home. They also have a decent kitchen ware area with a lots of kitchen toys Cheese counter is very plentiful with all kinds of cheeses, great selection Staff are pleasant and welcoming. I drove all the way to woodinville to visit their pharmacy, I received my first two COVID19 vaccines at their pharmacy. Definitely recommend this supermarket despite their higher prices on most items. read more

This store is fabulous! It has local and seasonal items and to keep because I'm from the East coast it's like publix meets Whole Foods. It has such a fabulous prepared food assortment it's just delicious. The grocery side has everything that you could need as well. This story should be much better. Selection is good, but often wildly overpriced. Last straw today: Bags of Harry Potter Butterbeer Hershey's Kisses. $8.50 each, but on "sale" for $6. But the same bag at QFC? $3.50, which is the same price at Target, etc. This is only the latest item. There are many others. Compare for yourself. They have margarita mix for $10.99 a bottle, but the double size bottle (same brand and type) is found at other local stores for $7.99. There is literally no reason to shop at Haagen when prices are that far out of whack. Groceries are expensive enough. It's price gouging. I'll shop elsewhere from now on, even though Haagen is more convenient. Why waste money when you can by two elsewhere for the price of one from Haagen? read more

This would be a five star review, but I'm really displeased the store is no longer open 24 hours. My husband works nights, I work days, and he would often get me something for lunch from here on his way home. This was the only place open near us that fulfilled that need. Now it's no longer available! Why the change? We only discovered this when we went there slightly past midnight recently and saw the store was closed... Guess we'll be getting food elsewhere? This Haggen Food & Pharmacy in Woodinville is a beautiful store. The selections are broad and incredible. I came on Wednesday the 22nd of July 2020 in the morning searching for some snack food and something pre-made and ready to go that I could eat for lunch. The parking lot is huge, much like the store, and it was easy to find a spot to park my car while I shopped. Signage inside and as one enters the store communicated well expectations for shopping during this COVID-19 season. Aisles and merchandise were also well labeled and easy to find. The store itself was very clean and provided a homey feel. The prepared/to-go section had a great array of offerings even in the morning. I found an Italian Beef Baguette Sandwich that had a couple different types of meat, cheese, and spicy peppers for lunch. It was absolutely delicious! I also got some beef jerky. The jerky section at this Haggen had the biggest selection of beef jerkies I have seen thus far. So many offerings! I ended up getting a bag (about 2/3 pound) of Hot & Spicy beef jerky that was also delicious. Perfect lunch and snack items while hiking to the not too far away Wallace Lake. Cashiers and workers were friendly and I very much enjoyed shopping here. read more

Somehow this store has the monopoly on grocery stores in Woodinville. I honestly don't understand how there isn't more competition nearby. Absolutely worst bakery in town especially considering the price point. Their baguette touts to be from an Italian recipe (which doesn't make sense), is soft and tastes like cheap American bread. I asked them once about stocking Macrina or alternative local bakery and the clerk actually said their bread was on par with Macrina; it's not even close. Super thankful to have chosen here for my charcuterie shopping excursion. I came in without much plan in mind but was happy to receive great advice from the cheese section staff. Bonus to get tips on what to ask for form the deli meat section, I would typically buy some standard salami off the shelf but getting professionally sliced custom amounts of new products was a great tip from the staff. THIS IS A GREAT STORE. The best things to buy here are FLOWERS and PLANTS as well as their prepared sandwiches and breakfast options. It is also amazingly convenient that they have great prepared food always easily available and it is open 24 hrs . This place BLOWS doors on Whole Foods in prepared food quality, selection and plants. Their Philly cheesesteak is amazing! It is heaping with meat and comes with a side salad all for $10.00. I constantly buy Dahlias in July. THey come back every year in my yard, stronger and bigger than the year before. The plants are MUCH better than the ones sold at Safeway and even Home Depot. THEY ARE OPEN 24 HOURS!! Wow!! I've been here a couple of times, but I cane here at about 4am lol because I couldn't sleep and I was pretty hungry. I live in lynnwood and this was the only place open nearby. Not a bad 15 minute drive! The flower selection outside the story is really nice. It even looks pretty cheap. Bakery selection was nice for gluten free/ vegans out there. There were some vegan options made in store and a lot of other options prepackaged from big vegan brands. The store seemed pretty big. It was a nicer Safeway/ Albertsons. I think I even used my club card!! I 100% will be back because of how well stocked/ plentiful this store is! read more

This is one of the few remaining Haggen stores, and it's one of the upscale stores. Prices on everyday items tend to be a bit higher, but they also have a great selection of specialty items throughout the store. The produce section varies. Sometimes they have great looking, fresh produce that is a delight. But other times they are short stocked or out of stock on things you would expect them to always have (organic potatoes, for example). When the produce department is on its game, it's one of the best around. But when it fails, it fails miserably. Kind of like the Seahawks in their 2017 season. Meat department is good. They have great selections and some good meat. Seafood, not so much. I think they just don't sell enough seafood to carry really fresh and really high quality seafood. The cheese counter is fantastic. They have a good selection, and it's improved over the past 12 months or so. Nearby is the beer, wine, and liquor section, and it's like a small liquor store. Good selection, but the prices are high. One of the newer additions is an amazing charcuterie counter. This has some of the best prepared meat products (aka "cold cuts") in the area. Worth a visit for the charcuterie alone. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You may have to go find someone, but they will be helpful when you do. I am a fan of haggens. The breakfast burritos and sandwiches slap. What doesn't slap is the deli to go containers. I actually have stopped getting from the deli tables because they are so difficult to close. I saw an older fella crying in frustration about a month ago. I have repeatedly commented to the staff about finding a replacement. I would like to meet the person that orders them and have them fill them up and close them. They should be fired for choosing these containers and have to apologize to everyone affected by the trauma that comes along with using them. For the money we pay there, get it together . read more

I was looking for the Starbucks when I walked in and was OVERWHELMED by the fresh food awaiting me. Sushi, fried chicken, soups, Chinese food all ready to eat! This must be Seattle's version of Whole Foods. There is an outside dining area and an inside dining space. I love sushi and Chinese food and it was so tasty. What! My main reason I wanted to buy a house in Woodinville so that my main grocery store could be Haggen? Absolutely not the case.... Not! I'm obsessed! Have been and always will be! Such great customer service and I love the sushi bar, charcuterie bar, deli and the hot line! I am a baker and this bakery is the only bakery I go to when I don't want to do the hard part.
