Never heard of this store before but needed some groceries while staying in an Airbnb nearby. The store was very clean and that caught me off guard because even the floors you could tell were mopped regularly. This QFC is alright, it's actually a smaller neighborhood kinda grocery store. Which I don't mind. There is another QFC not to far from here which is a bigger store that I like to go to. A bonus for this location is that it isn't really all that busy. So it's quick and easy to get in and out. Small parking lot. semi lazy staff - the cashier just seemed like she hated life all together and hated her job... Next time I'll remember to go to self check out. read more

I am a fan of this location. Open 24 hours. Friendly baggers/cashiers. They carry the extremely rare baby formula I sometimes need. They also have a wide variety of chocolate bars. The plants section is affordable & attractive. What would I change? The parking lot can be a little overwhelming. Ideally I would add some seating to sit & eat the prepped food they sell. There is Starbucks seating but I would feel weird going there without buying a drink. As you can imagine, I am a satisfied customer overall. read more

The population of this town is ever growing. The demand for food has only increased. Many people still work odd hours. Yet your hours have been cut from 24 hours to 11pm-6am. 11pm is a little bit early to close, and 6am is a little bit late to open. This has inconvenienced a lot of people in our high population density community. Would it be so hard to just close at midnight? You used to be 24 hours not that long ago. Just close at midnight, not eleven, and consider opening at five, that's all I ask. Fresh and good food can be hard to find here by The way but it could be much worse. It's time to go somewhat back to normal. Just because the pandemic happened doesn't mean the people want you to close at eleven until the end of time. We all remember what it used to be like and there's literally no reason why you can't go back. PS: we are all sick of Yesenia's terrible attitude. (The dark curly hair woman from other reviews.) If you don't like your job, get a new one. I try to avoid her but sometimes it's impossible. By the way I used to eat steak but I dont do that anymore because the cuts of meat here are just always godawful. read more

Akimi in Bakery has terrible customer service skills! I stopped in to purchase a birthday cake and because it was a smaller 8 inch rectangular cake just asked her to write the person's name on it. She said no, it wouldn't fit. There were clearly two areas to write the name Mike, and I pointed those areas out to her and again asked her to just write the name on the cake. She again very firmly said "no, it would look terrible - you can't write on it". I'm paying for the cake, so why do I care if she thinks it would look terrible or not? Her co-worker was standing close by but didn't intervene. Ended up writing the name myself at home with a store bought can and it looked fine. The rest of the staff at this store has always been the greatest, but for bakery - forget it. read more

I love this location. With all of my cold little heart. Its clean, well-stocked, and the staff always know where the random item I'm looking for is. Breaking down the important sections... Produce: So fresh and so delicious looking. Their organic produce isn't outrageous, and for those of us who are cheap and like pesticides, their non-organic section is great and still looks delicious. We actually get to eat all of our produce before it goes bad, so plus there. Meat: lots of options- great cuts of meat, lots of sales, and more of the organic stuff. We scored an awesome deal on flank steak last time we were here, and its currently marinating in the fridge. They also have awesome dinner set-ups, we've purchased pre-marinated flank steak and sliders for gym bbqs, and it always gets rave reviews. Booze: Okay, their chilled selection of beer and cider is so so good. I honestly stop by every single time just to see if they have anything new. Favorite random purchase has been the Schilling Chaider. Also, cheap delicious wine. Cheese: My favorite part of the store. Do yourself a favor and peruse the $5 bin. There's always something new and tasty in there. Last time we picked up a habanero gouda that was awesome melted in with scrambled eggs. I avoid this QFC any time I can because of many poor experiences there, the lesser selection compared to the Bella Botega QFC and many instances of poor treatment and behavior by the employees. Today's experience is just one example: I was just in the 15800 Redmond Way NE QFC using the U-Scan as I always do. It was moderately busy and the attendant (who was Nikki according to my receipt and is a manager in the store if I'm not mistaken) was focused on helping a customer at another U-Scan pretty much to the exclusion of all else. When I rang in my vodka I had to wait a long time for her to clear the ID check. For some reason the register decided I needed help from an attendant when I hit "pay now" and I had to wait even longer, possibly 2-3 minutes. When I finished paying she was still trying to help that customer so I took my vodka, with security cap still on, to the attendant desk. I waited even longer for her to finally finish with that customer and when she finally headed near the desk she didn't seem to notice me standing there (didn't look at me nor acknowledge my presence) so I said "Excuse me." as she was rounding the center display to the other U-Scan registers and her response was "Hold on" while she helped customers who had been behind me in line before helping me, making me wait yet again. To top it off when she finally took the security cap off and I started to walk away she sarcastically said "You're welcome." She was doing her job and with regard to me doing it very poorly. She did nothing worthy of being thanked and her sarcasm is wholly inappropriate. She clearly doesn't understand prioritization, time management, courtesy nor the importance of customer satisfaction to her having a job. read more

I used to love coming to this place, but NEVER AGAIN. I had one of the worst experiences with a worker at this place. After buying some groceries at this location, I decided to sit at the Starbucks seating area when a worker came by and said the area was closed and no one could sit there....Uhmmm excuse me? There are empty tables and chairs, and as a frequent shopper here, I'd never been given a problem with sitting in that area despite the Starbucks being closed. Despite all of this, I went back to purchase something I'd forgotten, and was literally being stalked by the worker and his friend to the point where I felt seriously uncomfortable. Right around the corner from my condo so I spend plenty of $$ here for things I cannot find at Trader Joe's, and there is also a Redbox. The thing I loathe about QFC is their money hungry, greedy, soul-sucking prices on generic items. There is a Fred Meyer probably about a mile or so away that also bears the Kroger brand with the same "generic" items (for example packets of au jus mix), yet QFC pulls off charging $1, $2, and sometimes more for the same items that cost less at FM and even other big box grocery retailers. I don't understand why QFC thinks they are so special and charges so much. Sometimes they have shocking deals on produce (like 10 for $10 avocados) so it is good to read the paper and stock up on sales. But at any other time I must clench my teeth when I see how insanely priced they are! I also HATE the parking lot! read more

I can't speak for all QFC's but this one is the best one I've ever shopped at. Not only is everything perfectly organized but the staff there is outstanding. Every person working there will say hello to you if you pass them by while shopping. They are so friendly and all have great attitudes. Not all QFC's are like this location. Of all the QFCs I have statistically had the best experiences here. Two out of three times isn't bad. Switching to a stricter diet soon but stopped by this afternoon. Since Christmas I've had an issue. Thank you Miss Gena you made it right for our family. Above and beyond customer service works. I will keep coming back for that. Amazing. It's QFC! What more do you want? This place always has friendly service. Sure prices aren't always the best, but it is covienient and their deli is pretty good. Stacked sandwiches (boars head FTW) and a decent beer selection bags this place an a-ok. read more

I go here because it's the closest store to my house. I hate it because every single time I have been there, there is one checker who is either just policing the self-checkout or checking and also responsible for policing the self-checkout. If you want to do something like, I don't know...say...buy beer, you have to wait for them to finish checking someone out and come over and OK your beer purchase. if you have a lot of stuff and maybe don't want to be a grocery checker, there's an 85% chance, you're going to be doing their job anyway. Maybe I'm just not anti-social enough, but I would much rather have an interaction with checker than actually be a checker in a grocery store. I know, I'm selfish. Every time I'm there it's a real struggle to NOT steal something--and I'm not at all into theft. There is just something fundamental to their operating business plan that makes me want them to lose money. On the brighter side, they have a great selection of French Rose and obscure cheeses that I would otherwise have to drive two or three more miles to get at Larry's or Whole Foods. Unfortunately, they keep their beer under bright fluorescent lighting, which is bad for the beer, so don't buy any beer in green or clear glass from this QFC unless it's properly covered in a case. Otherwise, you'll get skunky beer. Try not to steal anything. read more

I would give them zero stars but... I got salmonella from eating one of the sandwiches. But you know how it is you ride it out throw away the food. So no proof. I was sick for a week. Still having symptoms. Rare case. Who knew. Next time you get food poising go to the doctor. Then they called me after I reported it. The lady lied to me and pressured me on tape I'm sure to accept a gift card because I had no proof. No gift card ever arrived. Surprise. I walked passed the deli the other day and had to walk out just the memory and smell made me want to hurl. Plus they are screwing me. read more

I'm very surprised that there are 2 QFCs so close to each other. Perhaps they want to dominate the Downtown Redmond market share. There seems to be fewer available parking spots at this shopping center compared to Bella Bottega. read more

The Redmond QFC has got my vote for the best customer service ever!...I usually patronize the Redmond store since it is near to my home, but I definitely go out of my way to especially go to that QFC...the cashiers are extremely efficient and helpful...one time I left my credit card (or it fell on the ground!) and I came back the next day, frantic, and they graciously had it safely locked up...one time I bought the wrong kind of dressing and the exchanged it super fast!..Even late at night they have been extremely helpful with getting me change(coins) if needed as well as bagging my groceries securely. Customer service goes a long way and all of their employees are super friendly and helpful..I truly appreciate the store and it's convenience! read more
