They do not discuss pricing. $552 for highlights and a "trim" was what I ended up being charged with and tip came out to $92 alone. I have thin hair and it was slightly past my shoulders. Only two bowls of lightener were used, root shadow and toner. the photos that I showed the stylist and what I received were completely different. The stylist put curls in my hair which disguised some of the flaws (lines of demarcation and some areas that are blotchy and were not hit with toner properly) that I later noticed when I got home and showered and blow dried my hair. When I tie my hair up the sides are not evenly highlighted so it looks pretty bad. I had a good attitude at the salon about it but honestly very disappointed for the cost of the service and it not being what I requested especially since the cost of getting to and from the salon via uber alone cost $115. read more

Well, Ruth met mine, and not only she did a great job, but her attitude throughout the whole process was the best! She explained to me everything she was gonna do and how she was going to do it. All I can Say is that it was a great experience, I was being treated nicely and you can tell everyone here is extremely talented and outgoing. Had such a GREATTTT experience today at this salon! First, I had a mani/pedi by Dorys and she was so sweet, attentive, and works with so much attention to detail. She made sure I liked everything and was just overall great! The way she shaped my nails was great too - super sauareeee! Then, I had a full color done by Ali as well as a cut and then blow dry / curl. He was great. He, too, was super sweet and did exactly what I wanted but ten times better than I could've imagined. I went in with gross, orange, dry and brittle hair and left with a beautiful brown color and a cut that automatically made my hair look a million times healthier. Oh, and the young lady (didn't catch her name) that washed my hair was super sweet too! So happy with the way I look for my son's Christening tomorrow. $60 for a blow out only? This is significantly more than the high end blow dry bars in NYC! What made it worse is that I called beforehand to make the appointment, and was told the price was $35, $40, or $45 based on the length of the hair. After being quoted $60 at the register, I asked why, and was informed that doesn't include the $5 for the shampoo and the apparent $10-15 added for curled ends? My hair is medium length at most. SO YEAH...Ridiculous and over-priced. Will not be back! 2 stars because the blow out was well done, but again, I have never and will never pay that much for a simple blow out again. read more

Never coming back to this place! After going to this place for more than 3 times they were never able to get the color and hair cut I wanted. At the third visit marcos looking at my disappointment tells me is not always about the money (400 dollars for a short Balayage ) I made sure I gave him more money with tiers in my face, but just not to send him the message that it was not about the Money, just like he said, but to doing what was right at the moment or the right thing for a costumer. It was too frustrating, the haircut and dolor done by dena was a total disaster needless to say, horrible job. I just moved to Miami from California and as always, I worry about stylists being comfortable (and successful) with blonde hair. I first visited a very expensive salon in town that chopped my hair off and dyed it brown (WHAT!?!?). Probably one of the worst things that can happen when you move to a new city. I did some research online and via Instragram and stumbled upon Qiu's IG page and THANK GOD I did. I made an appointment with Ali, and all I can say is that when he pulled off the towel after washing my hair and revealing my new/old gorgeous blonde hair, I gasped with happiness...at least twice. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. Ali listened to me and my concerns about over-processing my hair. He olaplex'd me up so my hair felt like silk afterwards. I was in and out in about an hour (ummmm hello, for a full head of highlights I have spent over 4 hours at a hair salon). He listened patiently to me complain and whine about the other hair salon I went to. The ambiance and energy in the salon is top notch. Everyone is good looking and has great energy. I swear to God, I have never seen so many blondes in one room before and we are talking buttery, long, healthy, gorgeous blonde hair. You really just cannot beat this place. I moved to Doral about 2 years ago for work. As I am very picky with my hair and having had my share of bad experiences I would fly to Washington DC to see my hairstylist. I was just not willing to go around Miami and test the waters and maybe have another bad experience. Unfortunately I had a life event that has prevented me from flying for the last few months. My hair was in dyer need of a haircut and hair color. I decided to do my research and went on Google and Yelp and read tons of reviews. Every review was great, every picture captured the wonderful job they do at Qiu. I decided to book an appointment for a haircut first. Marcos was absolutely wonderful, he took his time to listen to what I really wanted, gave me advice and made me feel comfortable. End result, I love my hair. I've made an appointment to get my hair colored. This is where I will come from here on out. No more flying to Washington to get my hair done, Marcos is my new hair stylist!! :). I went to this salon because I had seen on their Instagram that they do balayage. I told the hairdresser that since I have black hair and am tan that I wouldn't like too go too light. Honestly, I should've googled what the balayage process looked like so that I would know if she was doing it correctly as it happened before it was too late. The hair dresser just ended up giving me highlights. When she showed me the outcome, I thought it looked good...but I had also been sitting on that chair for four hours. It wasn't until I really looked at it at home that I realized that she had given me the early 2000s type of highlights. I'm disappointed to think of how my hair will look when it grows out, but I have no choice but to leave it since this was a pretty expensive job ($300 for balayage + trim). To be fair I don't know if this is regular price for long hair since I almost never go to salons. All in all, I just really wanted a balayage! He was honest with what would look best for me when I showed him pictures for both my color and cut. I only went to this place because my father would hype it up and i was desperate for a haircut. My father is a regular and he would tell me how this one guy was really good and he styles celebrities etc. i don't really care about that, i just needed a damn haircut so I make an appointment for ONLY the pure cut because I didn't have a lot of time to waste that day. I was charged 60$... no hair washing or blow drying, just cutting the tips of my hair and fixing my bangs . I was this close to killing my dad that day since their website and brochures say haircuts starting at around $35 i think? So that really threw me for a loop. And the staff don't seem very sociable, now i'm not expecting to have fun or hear their life story either but they treated me like they really didn't care at all. The only reason why I am giving the salon 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was a little disappointed in that he didnt finish to blow dry my hair and style it. He sent me to another staff member who was very nice and did the job but knowing that it was my first time going to this salon I think he should've finished all the way at the end with the client especially when your paying over $300 on services.
