I tried taking it to another cleaner in Newport who said it would cost $750 to clean and they weren't even sure they could get the stains out. I left and came here and they were able to get EVERY set in stain out for ~$35. My jaw dropped when I saw how clean it was - they made a badly stained dress look brand new. Forever grateful to these folks for restoring a dress with amazing wedding day memories. The staff were so kind and helpful too. Not enough great things to say about this place.

She explained that she'd have to open up the dress to do it and expressed that it would be "very difficult". I asked if she could just cut out the lining without having to open it up and she said yes. I then went on to ask if she could clean up the fraying all over the sleeves. she said it would take too much time and I should just do it, which is a wild thing to say to a customer coming in for a service. I asked her how much it would be to remove the lining from the dress and she quoted me $100, which is also insane, and reiterated that she would have to open up the dress even though we just decided that she wasn't going do that. I was like, oh OK nevermind, and she says yeah you should just do it the way you want it to be done. WOW. OK. I had another dress that I was going to talk to her about, but i just gathered up my items and walked out. I'm so confused why you would have an alteration business and ask a customer to do their own alterations?? Clearly she didn't want me as a customer. I don't really know why, I wasn't rude or impolite. very unfortunate experience.
