Been here many times. Was unsure about men's pedicures but my wife suggested it and I was looking. This was originally close to work and is still close to home. Andy and his team do fantastic fashionable work for ladies and men. The value is exceptional and we keep coming back on a regular basis. Call to make an appointment for hours convenient to you. They do take walk ins and depending on the day/ time you might get seated right away. Holidays require advance planning. They also have had bridal groups in and this is a great place for that.

Andy is always amazing. He is super quick, yet always does them great. Such a sweet person too. Best place!

Everyone at QTs is amazing and so so sweet. Well priced for acrylics/fill, and can usually do same day appt or walk ins! Went with classic and vampy this round and they turned out absolutely gorgeous thanks to Trinity!

My grandson and I had a pedicure my daughter had a fill i've been to QT's nail spa a couple times everybody so friendly there you don't feel like you're rushed in and out. They take a lot of time with their services. I had a pedicure done by Ivy / nail tech ,She's such a sweet young lady, her quality of nail service is amazing I highly recommend her.

I've been going to QTs for nails and pedicures for several years. They always do a fantastic job! They do take walk-ins, but I've never had any trouble getting an appointment. Andy is my favorite, but everyone who works here is very good and very professional. Here are my fourth of July nails!

Come to QT nails and come see Andy! He is the best and will get you right. I have been coming for 6 years now.

The quality of service was disappointing overall. I need my nails done after a few days. The photo is after 1 week. Pedicure was nice at first but one leg was completed well and the other was rushed. Overall for the price, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Everyone here is sooo kind and welcoming right when you walk in, they take both walk in and appointments. They're always so precise and very quick! I love that they are so reliable and can pretty much do what I ask for. They offer drinks as well.

I absolutely love QT!!!!!! Andy, Sally and all of the technicians are amazing! It's a very friendly environment and is always clean. Great prices!

I got a deluxe pedicure ($40) and it was fantastic! I called a bunch of places and everyone was booked but QT's said if I came right then, they could fit me in. Woohoo! Everyone was wearing masks, socially distanced, and COVID precautions in place. Everything looked super clean and new and a liner used in the massage chair bowl. The pedicure itself was super luxurious with exfoliating sugar scrub, massage, hot stones, and more. I hadn't had a pedicure since before the pandemic started so boy did I need a lot of exfoliating! It was hard work but Cindy did a great job. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was more club-style than relaxing but not too loud - not really my thing but if you're looking for super quiet, this isn't the place. There were fun lights changing colors and music. Cash preferred but they will take credit cards with a 1% added service charge. I'll be going back for sure. read more

One of my favorite nail places in Reno!!! I've tried so many nail salons but I always come back to this one. They're very fond on perfection and satisfying their clients. Got persuaded to go on a pedicure date with my fiancé. Honestly it didn't take much to persuade me haha. Had a great, relaxing time here. Nice message chairs and the water temps were perfect. The hot stone message is a must! Get treated like a KING here! (or Queen). Many options with different prices. Highly affordable. I opted for a clear coat but many choices of nail polish to ponder through. Staff was great. Facility was clean! read more

I came here for a pedicure and had made an appointment. When I walked in I wasn't greeted or spoken to I had to say Hi I'm here for a pedicure then the guy just said to go to the back when I got to the back they were not ready at all then when they were ready, the water wasn't hot at all and the massage chair was broken. When I had a question about doing an extension on one toenail I had ripped, the girl couldn't understand what I was asking and made it seem like I was irritating her and another girl came over who also wasn't understanding what I was saying and just talked over me saying I don't need a tip and should just file it when I said 3 times that the nail was too short for me and didn't match the other side. I mistakenly, asked another question about how my nail was growing out and had nothing to do with the service but my tech again got very frustrated with me and had someone else come over again who also wasn't understanding what I was saying and talked over me. They didn't have the French pink color I was looking for and when I asked if she could use a different pink once again she got frustrated and I just said nevermind and ended up with a pedicure I hate. If you are someone who actually cares about the service you're paying for and will speak up about what you want, this is definitely not the shop for you. They want you to just be okay with whatever they're doing and expect you not say anything. This pedicure was a horrible experience. I've never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in a nail shop before. I will never come here again or would ever recommend this place to anyone Responding to the owner, I have not been here this was my first time at this nail salon and my first time at a salon in Reno since I moved back from Vegas 6 months ago....Perhaps you and your techs should consider listening to clients and what they're actually saying instead of immediately getting annoyed and speaking over them furthering the misunderstandings. As a service provider myself I would never make a client feel like they're being a bother for asking for certain things to be done, especially when they're paying for a service. read more

Great- Took me in as walk-in 4 stars for Pedicure- informed the lady, "pls no machine to remove previous gel"... she said, " just a little bit." She did great job and was honest. 2 stars for Manicure /andy- I already told Andy up front, "I would like HALF MOON design MATTE gel manicure, can you do it?" He said yes! Then he tells me, "you just do polish, no need to do manicure!" So I'm confused now. so I said, " what's the difference, isn't manicure and polish the same thing?!" He said, "manicure- cleans the cuticles, your cuticles look fine its not good for your nails!" So I confirmed with him, "pls clean my cuticles and pls give me a manicure." So in between cleaning my nails (buffing, filing) we go over which color for my HALF Moon- pink (natural color). Then he starts to polishing all my whole nails one color?! [Wait, what happened to my half moon?!] Then Andy, makes a personal call that he'll be done in 15min! Ok, hello what about me? Still here! So I ask Andy, what happened to what I requested? My half moon design? (people, if you've never gotten your nails done as half moon design.... try it... it's unique and classy). So his excuse, "it won't look good, just keep it one color!" So at this time, my nails are done and charges me $75, wow over the phone, it was $30 gel mani and $30 for gel pedi and he said he gave me a discount! Overall not satisfied, he didn't bother to remove my previous gel job that is why there is a bump. So.... can you see my disappointed with Andy! @andy- 1.if you are not able to do half moon design- I'm fine if you were honest and told me, no you cannot do it..... I would have been fine 2. If you got places you need to be- i'm fine, I get it but please for future reference do not service that individual, have someone else who's "got time" to get the job done. read more

Nice clean nail salon. Everything is updated. My daughters got polish changes and I got a deluxe pedi with gel polish change. I'm happy with their work. Their massage and hot stone massage needs to improve. But I understand they need to work quickly as there were customers walking in. I must say though, I understood everything they said in Vietnamese and it was nice to know that they were NOT talking "shit" about their customers. There were a few hiccups but the owner took care of it and addressed the employee immediately. I like that since most places like to blame the customers. We will definitely be back! read more

They do their best to accommodate walk-ins, but prefer appointments since this is a popular place! Absolutely terrible service and definitely never plan to be back! Did not clean off my dead skin or actually treat my toenails properly during my pedicure. Polish all over my skin, some toenails halfway painted, only did a single coat of paint and did not do a clear coat. For $60 this is such a disappointment. i'd expect a lot better from a salon with decent reviews. Along with FORGETTING MY LEG MINERAL MASK ENTIRELY. Absolutely disappointed. read more

This was a horrible experience. Myself (a man) and my friends (a woman) had a horrible time. The women slathered nail polish on my nails as if they just wanted to get me out of the store quickly. I wanted a design on each of my ring finger nails, but they stamped a design and told me that was good enough. They caused my friend to bleed. They dont sanitize and reuse tools. They charged us $200~ish for the two of us and still wanted us to tip each attendant. Even after explaining the bad service they still wanted us to tip. Will never return. Please go somewhere else. read more

After all the great reviews I was very excited to try this place! I went in for a dip fill. I wanted something very natural for summer, asked for a French manicure. The clear dip came out full of bubbles, my nails are multiple lengths and not uniform in shape. The fill itself came out very uneven. I am sad to say I won't return. read more

I have had acrylics for 8 years solid and go to the same lady. BUT I was in reno and decided to stop here and I am glad I did. I had black paint caked in my nails and they got it all out. It was so relaxing and the massage chairs are REALLY good unlike most other places. You won't be disappointed read more

I still had residue of mask on my legs.. now my set.. she cut them a nice length and then through out the process, she kept filing them down so they became short and uneven. I showed an inspo pic of French. She coated half the nail and cleaned it off however she did not take it off properly and it was all down my cuticles. I'm attaching the inspo pic and what I received. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I've been going here since I moved to Reno in Jan and I've had enough bad polish jobs and lazy service to continue. I always tip generously too. A coworker of mine has had a similar experience here, so I made a point of requesting a woman, hoping I would have a better experience. Unfortunately, I was given Lily, and today's experience was just as bad. I have been getting pedicures for over 25 years. I know what a good pedicure feels like, and I know when someone is being unnecessarily rough. Throughout the entire service, Lily was constantly grabbing, repositioning, and forcefully moving my foot every 30 seconds. I have NEVER experienced anything like it during a pedicure. It felt like I was being manhandled rather than receiving a relaxing $65 service. I specifically asked for my toenails to be cut VERY short and for the ingrown areas to be carefully cleaned out. Instead, Lily CUT MY FOOT. Then, to top it all off, the gel polish application looks terrible. The polish is pushed all the way down into my cuticles, and the edges are jagged and sloppy. For $65, I expect someone to be able to apply gel polish cleanly and professionally without injuring me in the process. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing--not an experience where you're being jerked around by your feet, cut, and then sent home with sloppy polish. I have genuinely tried to give this place multiple chances because the location is so convenient, but convenience is not worth paying $65 to be manhandled, injured, and leave unhappy with the quality of the work. Unfortunately, after this experience with Lily, I will not be returning.

Unfortunately, they do not use single use items for their electric callus removal and when I asked for a sanitary new scrubber pad for it Sany, my technician got pissed. I'm not even sure if he even changed the pad. He was rough with taking off the polish and the small square nail buffer on my nails, that was also not new. They don't use callus removal lotion anymore either. Sany's massage was very good and relaxing. He got visibly upset when I asked about most anything. It was a very uncomfortable non relaxing pedicure for me. My girls had fun, their pedicures were also not single use items either. I paid for the $50 Pedicure 2 for myself and really for the rushed and non relaxing experience I would rather pay more and just go to the Peppermill. This is a shame because I used to love this place.

It's been a while since I have taken time to "treat" myself but today was the day and I am so glad I chose this salon to go to. I started with a wax and my aesthetician was very gentle and communicative. She made sure she did it as I wanted. Then I asked for a pedicure and she gave me the "amazing jelly pedicure." This made the whole experience really fun from the sensation of my feet soaking in jelly to, hot stones, warm towels and a fantastic massage chair. Just when I thought it couldn't be any better she topped it off by making my favorite...a delicious Vietnamese-style coffee. My pedicure with Kenny was great he did a good job the only thing that bothered me was that he was rushing because they were busy .... He missed my pinky toe on a gel pedicure because he was rushing . When i went up to pay the owner told me my total and i took out my wallet ... he then proceeded to look into my wallet saw that i have cash and then stick his hand in and point at my cash to get me to pay with it . This is very unprofessional and rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I understand with cash you don't claim it in the beauty industry but you should NEVER put your hands in a clients wallet . My Birthday/Valentines nails for February I usually find some flaws once the nail tech finishes but I have never been disappointed leaving this nail salon & I am super picky.. Andy is my favorite, all of the staff is absolutely amazing though. Andy is so good with details & also very pleasant to conversate with! The salon itself is very inviting, well kept up & my favorite part is how they have the pedi stations set up with some privacy being separated with a cute fixture that changes colors. I don't have a ton of cash to spare as a single mom and hate that it costs a bundle to maintain my nails every few weeks and stretch it out as long as I can because I've always struggled to justify spending on self-care. But at least here I feel like I'm getting my money's worth so it takes a little bit of the pain out of it Hoping they do builder gel or hard gel overlay as I'd like to try that next and switch to gel from harsh drying acrylic. The folks that work here are so nice and they listen to what you need. My problem is with the quality of what I ended up with. I wanted so much to give a really good review here. Sadly, I can't do that. I asked for a seemingly simple design, but the information was not relayed or absorbed well so that didn't happen. What I ended up with was still a very pretty cat eye. The problem with the whole thing is that the next day, my polish started peeling. Dark colors take longer to set and this has a black base. The black base had not cured completely, and was now pulling up. I figured out what the problem was and I pulled up the layer of polish and got some alcohol on it so that it wouldn't get sticky everywhere. I would have gone back to the shop so they could fix it, but they were closed as it was a Sunday. I was willing to give them a chance to fix it. Now today, two days later, it's happening again. I have all these supplies at home so I'm going to just take care of it myself. Why didn't I do this all myself? Because sometimes it's nice to have someone else pamper you and do it for you. I know I'm exceptionally picky, and I need to just do it myself going forward. My notes to the shop here are, please watch how thick you're putting on the polish and please make sure that it cures all the way before you go to the next step. I don't mind having paid for the full set because the shape of them is exactly what I wanted. It was just the polish that was a problem. Going forward, I will just continue to do my nails myself.

There were two people working and both were very friendly and attentive. As soon as I sat down, they offered me a drink and made sure I was comfortable. I was also given several color choices to look through, which made it easy to pick exactly what I wanted. I ended up a getting gel nail pedicure, and everything turned out beautiful. The pedicure was especially relaxing. I chose the orange scent and they actually used real oranges and rose petals, which made it feel really fresh and luxurious. It was such a nice touch and made the whole experience feel extra special. The salon was clean, calm, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'll definitely be coming back!

I came in for a full set and pedi…read more While one girl was finishing up my Pedi, another rushed her away so she could get me up to do my full set.. it was rude. I also felt rushed. I still had residue of mask on my legs.. now my set.. she cut them a nice length and then through out the process, she kept filing them down so they became short and uneven. I showed an inspo pic of French. She coated half the nail and cleaned it off however she did not take it off properly and it was all down my cuticles. I'm attaching the inspo pic and what I received. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I've been going here since I moved to Reno in Jan and I've had enough bad polish jobs and lazy service to continue. I always tip generously too.
