    Chicken Katsu Garlic Noodles*

The food is always top notch excellence. I wish the portions were larger but that is only me being a noodle monster because reality is I am always immensely satisfied and clean my bowl!! The staff is always friendly even when under pressure of being busy. Food is fresh and the flavors are on point! Tried an appetizer with my friend this time and appreciated they put the egg on the side for her (i am not a fan of the runny egg) great spot for a quick bite or for spending time and talking.

Wanted a quick bite to eat and a drink after shopping with my friend and decided to try Quan Hapa and we were very glad we did! Though the noodles were a tad bit salty, the drinks were in point and the crowd was not too rowdy. We were able to have our own conversation without interrupting others and we sat at a full bar. Our hostess/bartender/waitress was slammed but made it look effortless. Good time good food and good conversation and company!

I came in on a snowy day and had my choice of seats with 2 friends. It is a small seating area inside to be prepared to wait at a more popular dining time. I had the garlic noodles. As the name implies they were VERY garlic heavy and forward. Maybe too much for me. I wanted a little more creamyness to them. The Fried chicken on top of my noodles was perfect. Crisp and full of flavor. I tasted my friends ramen and it was very good. The Pizza like appetizer was also a great flavor experience. If you don't like a lil slime on your egg ask for the egg cooked as you prefer. I've of liked over medium. Learning experience for us;)

I'm so glad theyre open early because the Vietnamese iced coffee gives me life. The garlic edamame has literal chunks of parmesan garlic pieces. need I say more? I can, because the chicken katsu garlic noodles on builds on that dreamy idea. So yum. I'm only bummed that adding tofu or chicken to the garlic noodles is an extra $7!!?! kinda cray. Service is always great, and the vibes are good

I was very disappointed in the food the shrimp and Vietnamese beef were so dry I felt like it could crumble in my mouth. The noodles were very bland. Our waitress was great and very friendly and was the only good part of eating here.

A trendy spot in OTR without a ton of seating. Snagged a reservation for 4 on short notice on a Saturday night. We were sat quickly and the service was good. I realllllly wanted to love the food here, but it just didn't do anything for me. We started with some loaded waffle fries, kimchi, and edamame. These were all just fine, nothing particularly amazing but nothing bad either. Amongst the four of us, we had the Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, the Sichuan Spicy noodles, and a bowl of ramen. The garlic noodles themselves were definitely the best dish. Unfortunately, the shrimp were all cold despite it being a hot dish. The Sichuan spicy noodles had a ton of ma sensation without really any other flavor. I probably won't be back unless something really peaks my interest.

I have mixed feelings on my experience. I dined here recently with my book club. We came on a very cold night and the restaurant was freezing cold inside. We all had to wear our coats and we were still cold. They have their outside area tented off, but as a result it made the whole restaurant very cold. I definitely will not return in the winter time. Our waiter was fine, he brought us what we needed. I had the Hapa ramen. The night of I thought it was okay but nothing exceptional. I brought home the leftovers and had it for lunch the next day and the flavors had melded in a way that it was tastier on day two than when it was freshly made.

I've been here a few times since moving closer to OTR. The wait time isn't bad and they take reservations if you want to plan something. The inside is great and they have covered patio seating when it's warmer outside. I love the food here and highly recommend the chicken with garlic noodles. For an appetizer you could try the Korean BBQ Wings or the pancake.

This small restaurant is the bomb. Make a reservation on the weekend since seating is limited. Our server Brandon was so nice and explained the menu for us since we were first time visitors Our food was so delicious. Japanese pancakes who knew were so good. I also got the shrimp curry hand roll and my friend got the spicy salmon hand roll. All of it amazing. The drinks are fantastic too We will be back to try something else

Was excited to try this place, but disappointed in the food especially. We started with the Soju flight, and it was interesting, but too sweet for us. We also tried the wings with the Coconut Lemongrass sauce. The sauce was good, but the wings were just okay. He tried the salmon garlic noodles and I went for the wagyu. He liked his noodles and said his salmon was okay, but my steak was cooked medium well done well when I ordered it medium rare, so I did not enjoy it. I also tried the Lime Basil Me cocktail and he got an Espresso Martini and we thought those were just okay. The service was fast and friendly, though! Our server was very nice and answered all my questions well. Ambience didn't feel special and the covered patio isn't watertight because we got wet even though we were closest to the inside. It also got loud even though there weren't many people there. Might have given 3 stars if it wasn't for how high the bill was. The prices here do not match the quality or experience you'd find other places.

Every time we go to Cincinnati we visit Quan Hapa. This place is our favorite for years. Okonomiyaki was good as it used to be, first time order Calamari and we did not disappointed! My husband loves their KFC too. Service was nice and they are very dog friendly!

I was a bit of a skeptic, as I'm the sort of person who roams around surburban strip malls looking for niche restaurants, and I try to take recommendations from people who know the cuisine. This looked more like Asian food for white people, and I felt that both before and after they arrived. The name sounds kind of Vietnamese, but the menu is more Japanese, and the people were 100% Cincinnati. Having said all that, I found a reason to try it, ordering a freshly cooked tofu dish with curry and coleslaw and a non-alcoholic beverage. I was quite pleased with the taste of my tofu, and the warm curry and cooler coleslaw made for a nice contrast of flavors and textures. The persimmon soda I ordered wasn't big, but it had just the right amount of sweetness for its intrinsically tart taste. They had clear marking for vegetarian and vegan options (and a lot of them were the former). It was a tad on the pricey side, but I wanted a place walkable to the music hall and what I got here delivered precisely the flavor and substance that I wanted of it, so I'm not sure what I can fault them on.

We chose E&O Kitchen at The Banks because they had a surprisingly solid selection of vegan options. The overall vibe of the restaurant was nice, but the music was a bit too loud for my taste, especially during the dinner/happy hour rush. It was also extremely hot outside, so sitting on the patio wasn't really an option. We took advantage of the happy hour menu and ordered two sushi rolls, which made the meal very reasonably priced. As a vegan, I also ordered the Tofu Bowl. It was good, but honestly nothing particularly memorable. The tofu didn't seem to be seasoned, and there was only a light drizzle of teriyaki sauce over the rice, so I ended up adding soy sauce for more flavor. While that dish didn't really impress me, the restaurant has several other vegan options that I'd be interested in trying next time. Overall, it was a good experience. The location is excellent if you're heading to a Reds game, and The Banks is a beautiful area to walk around before or after. We wouldn't go out of our way to eat here, but we'd definitely consider stopping by again and giving another menu item a chance.

The ambiance is casual chic. I loved the lighting, both those hanging from the ceiling and the changing colors on the back wall. Our server was very attentive and sweet. We managed to order a lot of food and most of it was excellent. We were treated to a trio of Spanish peanuts, slightly spicy cucumber and pickled onions that were quite tasty. Taking a taste of each together was a great bite. It was a fun start to the meal. We stared with two appetizers: Stuffed Jalapeños and Chili Dumplings. The stuffed jalapeños were fantastic! I expected them to be spicy hot, but they were not. The stuffing was delicious and each bite was delectable. We highly recommend them. The chili dumplings were also very good, though we've had better. These were spicy, but not overly so. They were good and I'd order them again. Mark ordered one of the lunch specials that offered three rolls. They were good. He liked some better than others. I ordered Sashimi Deluxe, which came with a salad and miso soup. The soup was nice. I liked the dressing on the salad and used it more as a palate cleanser between bites of sashimi rather than relying on the ginger. The sashimi was also hit and miss. The pieces were large, with each easily being twice the size you might find at other establishments. None of them, however, melted in my mouth nor did they elicit yummy sounds. We had dessert. I had Tiramisu cake and Mark had Mango Mousse. His mousse was so good! The tiramisu cake was good, but not outstanding. Both desserts came with strawberries, that were fresh and sweet, and a little scoop of ice cream. I mentioned it was my birthday (because it was) and they gave us my tiramisu case at no charge. That was so sweet! When our server came with the check, she also gave us a token each for the claw machine. What fun! We didn't win a prize, but we won some fun on our way out. We both decided we'd come back without hesitation. We are looking forward to trying ramen next time.
