Cool vibe, friendly staff and interesting food. Try the sticky ribs. Process are in the high side but given the attention they pay to the place and smiles of their staff, i think it is well deserved. We had the tofu bowl, ceasar salad and miso Chilean seabass. All were tasty.

I was in town for a conference recently and decided I wanted to do a quick happy hour snack. This place popped up near my hotel so I thought I'd give it a shot. First, it was scary to get to - there's a huge road you have to cross and it's not pedestrian friendly. I guess it's more designed to be a place people hit prior to going to the football games or something, so they'd already be parked on the other side. So - keep that in mind in case you want to Uber instead. I ordered the edamame and shrimp tempura sushi off the half price happy hour menu. My server was nice - and there was literally NO ONE else in the place. Given that, it took forever to get my order. The edamame was under-salted and over cooked. The sushi was just eh - I mean, I guess I wasn't expecting much from sushi in Ohio, but it's not that difficult to do shrimp tempura sushi well anywhere. Overall, it was an okay experience. If I'm back in town, this probably wouldn't be tops on my list for a return visit, but you really can't beat the half price deals.

Was visiting from out of town for work and looking for a quick place to eat. Stopped here and sat at the bar. They have some great happy hour deals at the bar. Half off certain apps and drinks so I took advantage of that. The service was quick and helpful. This restaurant looks like it could be a great place to hang out before a game as it is right next door to paycor stadium. Will definitely stop by again if I'm in town.

We go to E+O every year for Valentine's Day and this was our first time at The Banks location. Everybody was so welcoming, the gentleman working the door and the ladies at the host stand were so kind! Our waitress, Lexi, was absolutely incredible. Even the playlist they had on was great. We get the same thing to eat every year, but it was just as good as it always is. Their specialty salad is our favorite, but everything is truly to die for. Thank you E+O and the wonderful staff for always taking care of us!!

Place is super cool. And has an amazing view in a very good area. The food is pretty good I would give it an 8/10 a little too pricey with the sushi. I get this place very often

The food was very good overall. The edamame was very spicy and absolutely delicious, and my wife loved the lamb chops. Everything was well prepared and full of flavor. We can't wait to return in a few months on our next trip!

Second time in...very fun vibes on a beautiful day! Fantastic patio to enjoy the bridges and great weather! Food options are very creative and flavorful! Last time I had the Sishito peppers which were finger licking yummy! This time I opted for the crispy Brussels and kale salad as my appetizer. It is very rich... loved the flavor, but better to share for me! I also got the rainbow roll (hold the tuna) which was very tasty with asparagus and crab in the center. I will be getting it again! Service is prompt and friendly. Casual vibes with trendy music.

E&O is a good semi casual option. Service is friendly and very attentive. Setting is nice but not overdone. Being at the banks there's a lot of bar traffic but that's fine. The food is always as expected which is done well. A few downsides, after ordering appetizers, sushi, salad, and entrée our salad and salad came at the same time. That could've been paced better. Although not super busy, the restrooms were not attended to with used paper on the floor in copious amounts, water stains all over the sink and solid surfaces. Hopefully they were just having an off night with their cleaning duties, but knowing that staff has to use the restroom throughout the night, there could be some better training with regards to keeping up with the cleanliness.

We had a great time at E+O Kitchen. I didn't want to deal with loud crowds and bar food prior to a Saturday Reds game so choosing this place was a great decision. A couple blocks away from Great American Ball Park it is a perfect place to enjoy the area but not be right in the middle of the crowds. The service and food were great. The only low point is that the portions were really small. I definitely could have done two entree's myself.

This was my second visit to this location (I have also been to the one in Hyde Park) & I can't say enough good things about either. The ambiance this visit was very calm with some nice music to set the tone. Our server was attentive & friendly. For being downtown, the parking situation isn't terrible, as there is a parking garage attached, as well as plenty in the area to choose from. I started with the tuna poke tower & wow - what a way to set the bar high for the rest of the meal! Sesame soy, ginger, pickled onions, & melt-in-your-mouth tuna were atop a creamy delicious avocado spread & served with crispy wontons. I liked this more than I dreamed I would, & was surprised how much my husband liked it as well. I had two sushi rolls - the Hey Vinnie & the Deal Closer. They Hey Vinnie Tempura had salmon, avocado, & asparagus inside & was topped with tuna, jalapeno, cilantro, eel sauce, & wasabi aioli. If I could describe the perfect roll, it would be this. One of the best sushi rolls I had was in Arizona & this reminds me SO much of that one! The Deal Closer was made with tempura shrimp, snow crab, cream cheese, cucumber, & avocado, tempura fried, & topped with spicy mayo & unagi sauce. As far as fried rolls go, this is definitely a top favorite for me. It's so crispy with so many delicious flavors throughout - highly recommend. We like to divide & conquer, so I had some of my husband's sticky burger with BBQ sauce & was so surprised at how delicious it was. It had been recommended to him many times, but it is so hard not to just order a bunch of sushi. The burger is made with Wagyu Beef, peanut butter, fried onions, & cheddar & served with a side of potato wedges. The burger was deliciously juicy & the peanut butter was an interesting flavor combination that worked really well with other the meat, onions, & cheese. The wedges were also really good & seasoned well. For dessert I enjoyed the Bailey's chocolate pot de creme. The server advised this, along with their key lime pie, are made in house. It was a good chocolatey dessert, but I wouldn't say it knocked my socks off. Everything else though - phew. This was still a nice little way to wrap up the meal & it gives us an excuse to come back & see what the other desserts are like.

Dragons Breath and side of asparagus- great lunch combo! Roll was soft with a little heat from toppings and sweetness from sauce it sits in

Great sushi! I came here for a lunch around 1:30pm on a Saturday. There weren't any events happening nearby (to my knowledge) so the place was about half full at the tables and empty at the bar. The sound levels with good. No one having to yell over each other or the music. The music is upbeat pop. Drink: Lemon Kind - it was heavy on the coconut water. I almost couldn't taste any lemon until I squeezed in the slice it came with. Definitely could not taste the pineapple. Probably would not order again Food: Many of their rolls are made with shrimp tempura which I try to avoid these days. Thankfully they had no problem swapping out the shrimp for raw salmon, and without an upcharge! The only roll they said they could not do a substitution was the Closer because they remake those since it is a deep fried roll. Dragons Breath - I really liked this roll. My favorite part of sushi is the different textures and this roll plays into that. The inside, with my substitution, is soft and creamy, whereas the outside is crunchy from the shallots. The roll is served on top of a sweet sauce, but still good dipped into soy sauce. Side of asparagus - I opted for a side because 2 rolls would have been too much food, the sashimi plates have had mixed reviews, and the nigiri seemed pricey if it was only going to be the typical 2 pieces. There were 7 spears on the plate. Not reedy. Salty and smoky. Great side! Next time: I'll try another drink and sushi roll.

Even though this was delayed due to weather (the original date was earlier in February), the staff at ToB was super communicative and let me know that my reservation would carry over to the next date. The food was amazing - Belgian meatballs, mussels provencale and bolo - I mean....wow. I don't even like mussels and I couldn't get enough of these. Each of the foods were so perfectly crafted for the feast and had such an amazing story behind why it was a featured dish. Then came the chicken and waffles...flight. I mean - how much more perfect can you get? Iconic ToB waffles and chicken? Chef's kiss! To make the night even more incredible, we got to meet with Jean-François who told us stories and gave us pairing recommendations that were top notch. The communal feast was an amazing way to spend the evening at a restaurant that truly is one of the best places in Cincinnati.

For starters I ordered the waffle latte!!! Very maple tasting with a cute little Belgium waffle as garnish- so cute!! For breakfast/brunch I ordered (& shared) the Breakfast Plate- perfect for two if you aren't too hungry - eggs w/ cheese - sourdough toast - crispy potatoes - bacon - and of course a side of goetta (we are in Cincy after all) Everything was delicious and sometimes a classic breakfast is what you need!!!!!! My friends got the McWaffle & Southwest waffle - both had no complaints except a McWaffle might get ya a little dirty since the sandwich is so stuffed.... But no worries you do get a fork to eat up the fallen food I will always recommend this cincy favorite for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!!!!! Can't wait to be back!!!

The food is outstanding across the board--from the steaks to the cheese sticks--but the real star is their bread pudding. It's absolutely worth the trip from anywhere in the tri-state area. Both were friendly & acknowledged the birthday girl in our party. Atmosphere is great. You could comfortably walk in wearing jeans or come dressed up. Neither would be over or under dressed. The menu has juuuust the right amount of options, which is great! Heather was our waitress & while she was kind, her service skills were lacking. Granted we weren't at a Michelin Star Restaurant, but we also weren't at a dive bar. There was an endless amount of awkward reaching through, over & around when refilling drinks. There were a couple of instances where she actually touched our shoulders to nudge us to the side so she could reach through. Totally not okay during service at a restaurant nicer than a dive bar. We ordered the cheese sticks starter which were so yummy! Highly recommend! A couple of us ordered the Cesar side salad & were highly disappointed. The dressing tasted like it was mayonnaise heavy & then watered down by lettuce that wasn't dried after being rinsed. Even adding tons of extra pepper didn't help. The lettuce also tasted like it has been too wet for too long. The lobster mac was ordered in the group & it was tasty but soooo greasy. So, order with caution. We had the Black N Bleu salad in the group & that was good. The Atlantic Salmon was another dinner ordered & the crust seasoning was delicious! Sadly, the salmon was a bit overdone. It does come with a lobster cream sauce, which confused me. It was only so so & I definitely skipped it entirely. The steamed broccoli was done to perfection though. Not soggy & not too crunchy. We also had the 12oz ribeye & that was great! Flavorful, cooked perfectly! I will add though, that the steak knives need an upgrade. I really wanted to love this place, but we won't return on our next trip to Newport/Cincinnati.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

Going back and forth on stars for this one. Me and around 30 of my coworkers came into town for a…read moretwo day workshop and they got us a room block at this hotel. I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.
