Been here quite a few times with my friends. It was nice and they have the cheapest drinks in the area. Walking distance to free zone and the other one across the street. The music i didn't really like too much but the crowd was fun to be around. Pretty much everyone in their own group of people. Every time i have been the bartenders have been a great help since I'm not that much of a drinker and indecisive. I am planning on going back soon. I think a good thing about this one ( from what i remember ) is when the other clubs closed they were still open ! I've been here twice, and I like the bar itself. It's the old Buffalo, but cleaner, nicer, and trendier. I got charged 25.00 for two drinks the first night I was there--a beer and a mixed drink. The server's name was Billy, I think. It's on me because I either didn't pay enough attention to my bill. I ordered the same exact thing a day later and paid nine dollars less. Crazy. Be careful if you go to Quadz. There are some shady people that work there, my credit card was overcharged by $150 by a bartender and when I tried to get it straightened out they told us to leave. The clientele is very shady as well lots of hustlers and thieves. If you go, use cash, don't let them get their hands on your credit card. This place is easily one of my favorite places to go. It's not a swanky club with spotless floors and bathroom attendants, but what it IS is a fantastically accepting, come as you are and have the time of your life kind of bar filled with happy and friendly people. So friendly, that I even brought them a ton of Italian catering at about 2 am after my New Years party and the manager and bartenders have remembered me ever since. Seriously. This place has a family mentality and a wholesome, safe environment. Security is quick to act, tough when needed, and they see a lot of shit try to go down and they correct it. You can absolutely have an amazing time here, who knows, maybe you'll drink some bad ass shots and play billiards with a gorgeous drag queen. There's also a cigarette machine and a music machine if the dj isn't playing. Thursday's are Ru Paul's showing party, that's always a blast too. Oh! While the decor of the place seems to be different from what the Buffalo used to be, it has absolutely no character, charm or warmth to the video bar. The bar used to be covered in history and the gay community when it was The Buffalo and now it seems like a bar to be as neutral as Switzerland and wanting not to offend anyone that would enter. And I'm just going to say, that if you're going to name a drink after an actual trademarked product like Sriracha, that you would actually spell it correctly on your advertisement. And normally I would allow a normal FB, Twitter, IG pleb to misspell things and use poor English, but you are a business and really should make sure that your business is on pointe because Absolut would be pissed off if you misspelled their product. I think everyone that works here is rude and has an attitude with women. I waited to post my review cause I didn't want to post a negative review based off of one visit however I've been going here for most of the year as my friends like to go here. The one consistent thing I have noticed is the bar tenders and other staff are rude to real women. Not one time in this whole year and it's now October has someone been kind to me or my friends and it's not just being unfriendly it's down right mean and rude attitudes. It's now Thursday during my work day and I'm still thinking about how rude I was treated this past weekend for what I call simply being a women. I always have a great time at this bar. I went out to the other gay clubs and always end up here. It is a smaller bar and does not have a dance floor. I am not sure what drink specials they normally have but I know every time I have been the drinks are cheap. I also love that they have a juke box to play all the songs I want to hear.
