In town for work and decided to stop in for a chicken Philly cheesesteak and fries. Place was pretty dead so service was quick. That is always nice. Cheesesteak was tasty and the bread was soft but the fries were cold. Hard to find hot crispy fries any where. Overall wasn't a bad experience. read more

I went to dinner here 3 nights in a row while on work travel. Food was excellent, especially the chicken, and prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent. Lemonade was spot on, not overly sweet like most places. Even the alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced. I will definitely return. read more

Been in the area for a bit, had the occasion to be there several times at lunch. Every time they want to shove me in a booth in an entirely empty place, and every time it has to be approved by the bartender whose facial expressions demonstrate she'd rather talk to her girlfriend waitresses. This location is not size inclusive. You either have to sit in a booth that doesn't allow for large people or sit on plastic lawn chairs that are not made for anyone over 200 pounds. They are cheaply made and the legs are flimsy and snap if you try to move around. My husband had to go to the car and get his own chair. We just happened to have a portable lawn chair in the back of the car. If not he would not have been able to eat there. The chair would have broken and he could have been severely injured. They need to have chairs for larger patrons. Especially considering their customers. Bar is not an option for larger people either. Very sizest. read more

Got an email from Quaker saying that all you can eat wing night was back. Went on Tuesday like usual and went to order for all you can eat wings and was told that the email was a lie. Basically it's something called splinters which is $5 for a few wings. Highly disappointed as wing night was what brought us here a lot. Unfortunately a great place to go for wings ruined it by doing away with with wing night. My first ever Quaker Steak experience. I loved the decor, the padded bar stools with backs and the service was good. The draft beer was a little wheaty, perhaps the lines needed to be cleaned, but not so bad that it stopped me from having more! The side salad was ok, what really made it was the jalapeño ranch, I even saved some for my wings. My husband and I shared a bucket of wings with their hot sauce. The server didn't let those bad boys sit back in the kitchen and get cold, she brought them out ASAP and they were hot! I had to let them cool down some but the flavor was good and I loved the jalapeño ranch as a dip. I'd say this was a 3 star review based on salad quality and wheaty beer but the server, wings, and comfortable bar seating bumped it to a 4 read more

I liked the decor of this place a lot - I might come back with my grandkids just to see the cool car stuff - at the restaurant we were at (this is a chain), they had a corvette hanging from the wall, a NASCAR replica out front and a lot of cool parts and pictures inside. The service was decent and quick. The food - a mixed bag. To say the wings came out warm would be charitable and they weren't as tasty as I would expect from some other chains that specialize. On the other hand the rack of ribs were very good and the fries that came with it were also very good. May be my favorite wing place. We have visited QS&L in several places in PA, NC, and now WV. We have enjoyed every visit. The wing sauces are unique but close enough to standard to not throw me off. Not just the wings but steaks, steak and cheese, burgers, and other apps have been really good. We had a medium wing sauce, dusted mango habenero, sirloin steak, bang bang shrimp, and steak and cheese. All was good. Service at this location was slightly lacking but after finding our server texting on the other side of the restaurant she was able to be pretty decent. We had a very bad experience there Saturday evening. Nearly an hour after ordering, we asked the waitress about our food. She replied that a chicken breast took a long time to cook. We then asked to speak to a manager. Rather than simply say, "I'm sorry for the delay. Let me check on your order", he asked what each of us had ordered and went through all 4 orders--as if he was looking for a reason why it would take an hour to get food. As to the quality of the food, I couldn't say. We got so frustrated with the slow service and inept help that we gave up and left. We went elsewhere and will never try that place again. read more
