No one acknowledged me outside of patients in the lobby. They looked happy which is why I gave three stars. I'm assuming these were patients waiting to go home. 2. I found a nurses station with a nurse sitting at the desk at the very end of the hallway and boy was she unhappy at work. She was very rude. That was a huge red flag. When families come here they want to see the staff as happy as they can be because for some families this is their loved one's last stop. 3. I received a small tour which was very informative. *they don't have a contract with Kaiser. *they do have a contract with contra costa health plan *OT, PT, SLP don't work on weekends *Rehab is based on insurance coverage from what I was told. They will not give your loved one five days a week rehab although they're paid for everyday your loved one is there. My loved one is there for rehab everyday they're there not to enjoy the scene. I decided to move forward with an acute outpatient rehab and they're doing amazing with much more equipment.

This is especially nice for children who are overstimulated with too much going on. They have a mini parent book library, and lots fun games on the walls for children to be engaged. The office staff is also very kind and considerate. They are helpful, but not pushy, which is lovely for a family that is trying to keep up regular visits but occasionally have things come up (like sicknesses). I've experienced nothing but kindness from them. I like how they have text communication, which is a very nice tool to navigate absences and other things that come up. This review though is mostly for Dustin Losli. If this review allowed up to 100 stars, Dustin would receive all of them from me. My child was diagnosed with apraxia of speech and has been receiving care since he was 18 months old. I've been to see many therapists in a variety of settings (East Bay Regional, private, and via school district). By far, Dustin is the best therapist we have ever had. I can't rave enough about him. So much so, that I followed him to Therapy At Play from another facility. We now have doubled the time to get to speech therapy in following him, but HE IS THAT GOOD. Dustin is one of a few speech therapists trained in the PROMPT method. It is very difficult to find a specialist in this speech system in California. It was by luck that we stumbled upon Dustin and learned about this system. PROMPT is "a tactile-kinesthetic approach to speech therapy that uses manual guidance and touch cues to help individuals, particularly children, improve their ability to produce speech sounds." In having a child with apraxia of speech, PROMPT gives invaluable feedback to them in training their mouths to perform the correct movements in producing a sound. No other therapy has come close to assisting my son like PROMPT has. And Dustin understands this therapy style inside and out. He is such a gem and an invaluable asset to Therapy At Play. There is hardly anyone out there doing what Dustin is doing. In addition to his credentials and expertise, Dustin has become a mentor to my son. He started seeing my son when he was around 5 years old. My son had tons of energy and a very short attention span. Dustin has transformed his ability to pay attention, know there are consequences in not following (safety) rules, and help him know how to handle his frustration when it comes up during therapy. He is pretty much the only therapist who was able to successfully get my son to perform multiple speech practices in a session. Something invaluable in trying to assist apraxia. As I've worked with Dustin for a few years now, I've seen what an incredible human being he is. I am so grateful for being matched with him in therapy and feel incredibly lucky every time we have a session with him. I have the feeling we won the lottery every time I see him create a win with my son. It's what every parent hopes to feel. With Dustin's guidance, I've seen my son bloom far more than I could have ever hoped for. I am hopeful for many more sessions with Dustin - my son now looks up to him as a role model in his life, as well as a safe place to fail, and learn. Thank you Therapy At Play and Dustin for changing our family's lives. You are creating real change in the world - and I'm so grateful.

But now I no longer have Kaiser, and I am a man who fears change. But let me share with you all about my experience at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. My Cardiologist Dr. Sidhu was absolutely amazing, I couldn't wait for each of my next appointments (weird right?) But he made me feel safe and informed about everything that needed to happen, where I was at in the process, and what was his most educated plan of action to get my ticker back ticking right. He was thorough folks! I appreciate that kind of service. Then, they didn't make me wait months out San Ramon Regional Medical Center acted promptly at this serious matter, even if they did this everyday, I couldn't tell. They took my Afib seriously. We can get you in Friday for a cardioversion because you have taken your pradaxa consistently we can move forward. I arrived at the hospital at 8 am for prep. Hospitable guards, check in folks, all the way to the nurses. Prep time was swift and efficient. The entire time people are sharing with me what to expect and reassuring me that I will be ok. Perhaps fear shown on my disposition. My previous experience was nothing like this, not comparing, I appreciate Kaiser and the professionals there, but this felt sooooo safe. My Cardioversion without TEE, happened and when I woke my ticker was right back where it should be and I was met with a slew of caring physicians who wanted to see my smile with a regular heart beat. I recommend San Ramon Regional Medical Center for all your medical needs. They will not disappoint!!!!

I was not even offered a sling a bed or a painkiller for two hours. I can hear the nurses laughing and giggling, while I waited and the waiting room they finally took me in and they brought an extreme machine to take x-rays, but after that I was sitting on the wheelchair for the longest time without a sling or Support they finally moved me back to the waiting room citing that they don't have any beds available. They also told me I need a surgery due to a compound clavicle fracture, but I had to wait till Monday and call the Doctor not to mention today is Monday and I can't even get a hold of the doctor or anyone of the doctors staff @ Bass medical group. They hadn't even cleaned my skin lacerations. My wife noticed it when she helped me take a bath. Dr. Bahzadi staff never returned the call. Supposedly Megan is the surgery coordinator, but she can't return calls or email . God forbid if you have an emergency like me! Worst care I have ever received!

"Tres Chic Blue Gowns--No Extra Charge!"…read more Well, no one likes those uncomfortable tests one must do every few years. But when it's your time, come here. I have been to Tresanti Surgical Center on several occasions, and each experience was a good one--well as good as can be expected, when they're shoving a--well you get the idea. On each occasion, the physician was Dr. F. Anderson Rowe. He's professional, friendly, and informative. Things have gone well on each occasion. After the procedure, the doctor gives you a summary of the findings. Then you make an appointment for more details. The highlight of my visit was wearing one of these funny blue costumes. Wearing these outfits is sort of a tradition--it must be taught by the professors at med school. They're functional, but not too outre (The outfits I mean, not the doctors.) You don't have to be seen in public wearing them. Only the nurses see you. After they wheel you into the operating room, the fun begins. You're laying down in the operating room and they put this oxygen mask on you. There's all these tubes and strange equipment hanging on the walls. I think some of the tubes go into your body. It's sort of like what you see at an oil change shop--but costs more. Plus at the oil change shop, hardly any of the tubes go into your body. I bet the same company makes the equipment for both businesses. As well as those blue costumes. Anyway, pretty soon they say, "Now take some deep breaths." This is a tradition throughout the medical industry. Anesthesiologists all over the world say that same phrase before every operation. Another thing they teach them at med school. I admit, it's possible that the order to "take a deep breath" was just a recording. I didn't really see anyone's lips moving. Next time I'm in there, I'm going to watch their lips. Just when they say, "Take a deep breath," the air begins to taste sort of funny. I'm pretty sure they put something into the oxygen. Next thing you know they're saying, "Hi, how are you feeling?" Yes, it really is that simple. I'm pretty sure I wrote this review during that "down time." During the crisis, they are extra careful. You first wait outside and phone them. Then a nurse comes out and checks you in. They're also careful to check your temperature and maintain social distancing. I appreciate the staff here being so careful with everyone. We all have to have those medical tests. This is a good place to have them done. I'm pretty sure they'll let you keep your cute little blue costume, if you ask them nicely.
