Not sure how I feel about this place you get charged for them basically doing nothing almost half the cost of treatment seems they don't really try if they know in advance your breed doesn't do well why not notify you of that instead take your money and not do anything I think this place need to be looked into let me add they charge about 55$ to just look complete rip off there is another spot that charges 25$ if cleaning can't be performed which is more reasonable. They basically charged me 30% of the cleaning, knowing that it could not be done. They should've told me all of this in advance about my specific breed. They tried for less than 10 minutes I would say and not to mention they have a bunch of water going with no suction so they're probably choking the dogs. It's definitely suspicious that many people come on here with the same outcome. There is no doctors name written on any of the paperwork which is a bit alarming. read more

Had my dog's teeth cleaned by Qualified Pet Dental at Penny's Pup Wash in Costa Mesa. Making appt online was easy and they texted me for confirmation a week prior to the appt. The appt was done within 30 mins and I was worried that my dog would be too anxious but they got it done! Everything went smoothly. Except when they recommended the Oratene Brushless Toothpaste Gel and they made it sound so magical and stuff so I was sold even for $40. Tried on my dog's teeth a couple of times and both times it gave her diarrhea. So today I finally googled this toothpaste, turns out Amazon/Chewy sell these for less than $15. The teeth cleaning was $209, they asked for tips, and got us to buy the $40 toothpaste. Rookie mistake on my part. I would take my dog back for cleaning but definitely would not fall for the toothpaste sales pitch again. read more

horrible experience with this company who was hosted by Pet wants in Riverside for pet dental cleaning. long story short I walked in everyone was kind to my baby until everyone started calling him at once. there was a female who had a slip leash that choked my baby with and then decide to gaslight and say " oh don't choke yourself now" and it was bad to where my baby was about to throw up. then after I came back from them not being able to do the services on my baby because they called me to go get him, good thing I was still in the parking lot. once I walked up I saw that same female holding the leash so tight my baby couldn't even run to me when he saw me. that female then suggested next time you should try bringing him medicated but for what so he can be calm enough to no defend himself & they somehow get away with harming my baby?! yea no. better safe than sorry. don't need no crocodile apology or a comment back because I'm writing MY EXPERIENCE that left me a guilt in my heart from not knowing how exactly they treated my baby. Met up with Qualified Pet Dental on a Saturday at 10:30 a.m for my two dogs dental cleaning. I had saw them on a IG post and decided to give them a try. There were at Waggs & Wiggles Daycare in Tustin. The staff sent me a text to confirm my appointment. For my two small dogs it was $179. each. They were done by 11:45. Their teeth looked amazing. I brush there teeth daily but the back teeth have always been a problem for me. I'm so glad I came and had a very positive experience. I definitely recommend looking up there pet dental clinics and taking your dog. My dogs didn't have issues with there teeth and got a good bill of health! For a short, snout breed I like the choice of having an anti-anesthesia approach. They will let you know if your dogs needs and how to upkeep on the dogs teeth! The reason for -1 star, is after a week one of my dogs front teeth showed small brown spots on them. read more

I like the non-anesthesia method of Qualified Pet Dental. They are a mobile pet dental service and we used them at Dirty Dogs in Solana Beach. Our dog gets her dental al cleaning every 6 months from QPD as a preventative health care. They do a preliminary health check before the dental procedure as a precaution. We try to brush our dog's teeth, but she still gets tartare build up. QPD does a great job of removing the tartar and stains on her teeth without knocking her out. They also provide a full report on her procedure and dental records, they are very thorough and caring for my pup. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience with this company. Easy online booking. Kat was very friendly when helping us out upon our arrival. I saw all the great reviews and told my husband I was hopeful that this was what I'd been looking for for so long. I don't want to put my dogs under for teeth cleaning as they are young, but just like humans I believe they need a good deep cleaning every so often. They were only 8 minutes from my house as we set up with one of the locations when they were near us. Look at the pictures! My babies teeth are like brand new. Georgie (Westie mix is 5 years old. Horrible experience. Spoke to Rebecca, one of the owners, and was shocked by the lack of professionalism. I was calmly asking her questions and she responded by yelling and hanging up on me after asking why my puppy's tooth was loose Calmly. If this is how a calm client is treated after paying $240 for a service, I cannot imagine how she has the emotional intelligence to handle conflict with an upset client. Anytime a client is asking questions pertaining to a service, it's not above or beyond your job description to answer those questions. I had taken my dog to another Dog Dental place and they started with one price, raised it to another, and just kept stacking the cost, without xraying my dogs teeth, telling me that she had gum disease, loose teeth, etc. I decided not to go with them, and then came across Qualified Pet Dental who would set up shop at Tailwaggers on Fairfax in LA on certain days. I went, they examined her thoroughly, and cleaned her teeth for $190, gave me an overview. She didn't have gum disease or any loose teeth. The other place would have charged me around $2k. The staff for Qualified Pet Dental were caring, thorough, professional and so incredibly pleasant. I was very disappointed with Qualified after hearing good things about it from my coworker. Making an appointment was easy and they got me in from the waitlist which was nice. They unfortunately couldn't do the teeth cleaning because my new rescue cat has three cavities. That's okay, I understand that and it's not the reason for only two stars. My reasoning is that the professionalism I received was quite subpar. No one explained my cats dental chart to me and simply said he has three cavities which are very painful and the girl telling me this was acting like I am a terrible pet parent! Like I said this was a brand new rescue from a shelter, I had no idea he had cavities the vet I took him to his well check didn't mention anything. I was pretty appalled by the workers attitude and when I tried to ask further questions I was basically dismissed. They filled out the dental chart and charged me for an exam and put no notes on his exam chart about his well check, not sure why. Also, my cat caught a kitty cold from being at the wags and wiggles Tustin location, did they not keep him in a separate exam area that was clean then? Probably not because he started sneezing the day after his visit and has gotten sicker since. I understand that staff gets busy, but the lack of professionalism and apparent clean exam area is very disappointing. read more

So I took him to the Qualified Pet Dental mobile office at my local Pet Supplies Plus parking lot. The representatives with whom I spoke when we arrived were very pleasant and affable, cheerfully answering questions from concerned pet owners. They told me the procedure would take approximately 30 minutes, so I waited in my car and re-approached after 25 minutes. Five minutes later, my dog came out of the mobile unit wagging his happy little tail as if to say, "Guess where I was! It was fun!" And the best part... all of his teeth were pearly white!
