They explained our options & answered all of our questions. That included pricing options. They were lower than we expected. Once we weighed the options & made a decision, the new unit was quickly installed. I'm guessing that was about 5 years ago & we haven't gone a day without it since. Over the years, we've called KCA for various reasons. The contractor we hired to finish our basement destroyed our air purifier. Working with the basement contractor was a nightmare, so we gave up and called KCA. They were understanding and guided us in the right direction. They didn't try to up-sale us. They did the same thing as before. Educated us to where we were able to make an informed decision. The new unit has been great. It's in the basement, but when I'm down there and hear an electric snap, it feels good. Along with the air purifier, we decided to cross another item off of bucket list. A whole house humidifier. Installing it required moving the water heater & possibly the main furnace. They did a better job than the builder. We've lived in our house for around 16 years. 1st owners. We visited in while under construction. Small things are creeping up, The fan in our furnace went out over the past weekend. A call to KCA and we were back in business in no time. In fact, the responding fixer/installer was the same guy that repaired our air purifier and installed our whole house humidifier. That had to have been at least 3 years ago. Seeing a familiar face, knowing that he does excellent work, along with knowing that KCA takes care of their employees to the point of retaining a highly skilled staff confirms that we picked the right random number so many years ago. We're watching a new house that's under construction. I can guarantee that one of the first things we plan on doing is install 2 more air purifiers as the house has 2 systems and at least 1 humidifier. First issue, was rummaging through our kitchen cabinet and used floor polish on one occasion instead of cleaning solution on your hardwood floors. Second, they used and took the toilet bowl brush from our master bath. Third, they used the toilet cleaner in out powder room. Upon discovering this we found the product dripping with chemicals and not only stained but this warped our cabinet. They obviously did this at least twice as upon finding this issue there were two different rings. When bringing the third issue up, they denied the responsibility.
